DELICIOUS!!!! Friends brought us here for celebrate Chinese New Year and I enjoyed every single bite. Wonderful service, and especially enjoyed our area which was a separate banquet room. Despite being extremely busy, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Entrees we all enjoyed- it is difficult to pick a favorite because every bite was so delicious: Sizzling rice soup (best broth!)Fried dumplings (since they didn't have egg rolls-not something I'd have to order again though) JajangmyeonSpicy garlic shrimp Tangsuyuk (pork) Mongolian beefSautéed Bok choy & mushroom Shrimp Fried RiceIt's as authentic Chinese/Korean as I've ever experienced. I look forward to returning!

We went there for dinner recently, I always drive by this place but never make the turn to this restaurant, thanks to my wife ,we did this time and it is aGood experience. We ordered a tofu plate,a seafood plate(全家福),I was gonna order one more plate but the server told me that the seafood plate is a good size plate for six person,so I did not pace any more order and that is a plus for my recommendation since most. restaurant will encourage you to place more order. The seafood plate is very generous in size and in content, they have sea cucumber, shrimp, clam, scallops, mussels, squid, some vegetables ( not much)Bamboo as well.it is very good in taste for me, not salty , just the seafood flavor. The price tag for the seafood plate is $60, but really good size, so I think it is well priced.

Portion was huge and good value , but was disappointed in the flavor of the jam pong and the black bean noodles. Shrimp toast was way too oily. Food was just not quite there flavor wise.

Been here twice and we absolutely love the jjajangmyeon here. It's a small place, but worth coming to try out. I highly recommend the Kung Pao chicken + Jjajangmyeon lunch combo. The spices and the Kung pao itself tastes very good, and the peppers are not so dry and blends well with the chicken and sauce. If you're looking to try out somewhere different for korean/chinese dishes, I recommend giving this at least a 1 time shot.

Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I've ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It's so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can't wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it's also worth the wait. Parking lot is small-ish so find parking elsewhere on the street

I heard that Yong Moon Lu had great jajangmyeon and tangsuyak. I went on a Saturday a bit after they opened. They have their own parking lot with spots in the front. There seems to be a lot in the back as well. Upon heading inside, the staff was able to help me order right away. I asked how much would one order of jajangmyeon would serve and that would be one person. With that in mind, I ordered (2) jajangmyeon and (1) tangsuyak. They mentioned it would take about 10 minutes. It seems to be a big restaurant. They already had a few parties inside, despite it being a few minutes after opening for the day. I was handed a takeout box, which included everything separated in different containers. I really appreciated that since it was easy to carry out and sort out later. The jajangmyeon was good. At first I thought there was too much black bean sauce. However, I ended up mixing the entire container. The tangsuyak was very crispy on the outside. For the sauce, there was a lot of different assortment of things in it such as onions, carrots, cucumber, mushroom, and pineapple. The sweetness reminds me of an orange chicken flavor. It was honestly a bit too sweet by itself, but I think it was great in combination with the jajangmyeon.Overall, I really enjoyed the food. My only comment would be that they didn't provide a lot of radish on the side. Also, the serving is definitely 2 people. I'd consider myself as someone that can eat a lot, but even that was a lot!Note: They do credit card, but not American Express.

I had high hopes for Yong Moon Lu in Rowland Heights, especially since my work trip brought me out to California, and I was craving Korean-Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, my first visit here turned out to be a big disappointment.I ordered the black bean noodles (Jjajangmyeon), which I was really looking forward to, but the gravy was incredibly bland and lacked the depth of flavor I expected. It was underwhelming, to say the least. I also tried the salt and pepper squid, which is usually a reliable dish at most places. However, this version was a huge letdown--it was severely under-seasoned, with barely a hint of salt.Overall, I didn't enjoy the food here at all, which was disappointing considering the excitement I had coming in.The service was ok.

Always delicious! Decided to get fried shrimp instead of tangsuyuk and it was just as good. It was with hot chili sauce which was tangy and savory. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and were pretty large as well. The jjamppong was packed with flavor also with tons of seafood and vegetables. It was my first time having it so I'm not sure how it compares to others though. Food always comes out super fast (within 10 mins) so you barely have to wait!

First time dining at a Korean restaurant that serves Chinese food or Chinese inspired cuisine. The portion is family style, so I wasn't able to order and try too many dishes when it was just me and my friend. My friend and I got the shrimp toast appetizer, jajangmyeon, and sweet and sour pork. The shrimp toast was too bready for me, but maybe that is how it is traditionally made in Chinese-Korean cuisine. The jajangmyeon was as expected, and the sweet and sour pork were strips of fried pork with sweet and sour sauce served on the side. All were delicious nonetheless. This restaurant is not mid-size. Parking is easy if it's not busy, but I want on a day where they had a big tour bus parked in the lot dropping tourists off to eat at the restaurant. The dining experience feels like eating at a Chinese restaurant, which gives it an authentic vibe.Overall, I'd go again if I want Chinese-Korean food.

Stopped by with friends for lunch on Sunday and had a lovely meal. Plentiful parking in their lot when I visited. Service was friendly and the restaurant was well decorated with private dining rooms to the side. The food tasted clean and fresh compared to other spots for Korean Chinese food which are heavier and delicious in their own right. The portions of protein and veggies were generous! I've never ran out of rice or noodles before even making a dent on the protein and veggies. We ordered the jajangmyeon (4/5), Jjamppong (3.5/5), and sweet & sour pork (5/5). The pork was the highlight, it was freshly fried and very crispy with a light, tangy sauce. The jjamppong wasn't as flavorful as I'd like, but it was very hearty.Overall, a solid spot for Korean Chinese food! I can see myself bringing family for celebrations.
