LETS TALK ABOUT YARDBIRD First off. They preach their Hospitality being one of the most important things they practice. YES We were immediately greeted by the friendliest hostess Deandra. She asked us where we wanted to sit and she could tell we wanted to just chill and vibe out. So we sat on the soft seating and pushed together another table so we were more comfortable. Our server Ashley was a gem. LittleSoft spoken at first, but she was super generous and friendly as well. Very attentive and dealt with our ADD and inability to choose what to eat. Naturally we went with an array of items (as you can tell by the pictures) and she gave us some good validations with the Brussels sprouts. I never felt like she was upselling us. Just generally giving us good recommendations and suggestions for our order. And I know customer service is a rough field to be in. So we made sure to give compliments to the manager before we walked out. The manager at the time was Tommy and he immediately started talking to us like we were his friends or family he was just seeing again for the third time this week. Food was exceptional. If I had to critique anything, I wish the fried chicken was a smidge crispier. But I LOVE a good loud crunch with my chicken. Flavor was great. Not overly salty. Super juicy.Brussel sprouts had a very subtle sweetness to them. But let the earthiness of them truly shine. Deviled eggs were just rich enough. And the smoked salmon roe on top was a beautiful pop of salty that was beautifully balanced in the rest. Cornbread was great too. Wish it was a little more moist or maybe a little more of that cream drizzled on top. But nice app. Definitely a one person or 2 people shareable snack before the meal DEM BISCUITS THO. Like what is this Apple butter marmalade thing they give you with it. CAN I TAKE HOME A BUCKET PLEASE AND THANK YOU. I also reheated one a few days later and it was JUST AS SOFT and delicious as it was fresh when we ordered it I'm a sucker for corn. So the street corn has a nice little heat to it. Good Smokey chipotle style cremaMixed with it. YUPPPP Ok but to top it all off. THAT FRACKING BANANA CHEESECAKE. Bro. No words.' Right amount of banana flavor in the cheesecake and the bruleed bananas. Uhg yes.Ok sorry. This review seems like i work for them. I honestly don't. Family and I were at the hospital next door visiting a sick family member, and we just wanted to enjoy a meal together. And this was the PERFECT meal to feed our bellies and our souls. We will for sure be back. From the experience to the chocolate spoon push on the plate. Yes to all the things and thank you YardBird team.

The place was nice and pretty but everything is overpriced. We got a specialty drink and it was horribly tart. My chicken wings were way over breaded. My husband got a Waldorf sandwich and he said it was good but not with the 23+ dollars. I also had Caesar salad and I get what they are trying to do but sometimes less is more. Brussels sprouts were under seasoned. My son said the Mac and cheese was delicious. Service was good but they did not try and offer us any replacements.

If you're going to dinner here I would recommend self-parking, it's definitely cheaper than valet. Staff were friendly and service was good. It was a really quiet night, we ate here on a Thursday evening around 8 pm. Food was good. Definitely recommend the brussel sprouts and street corn. The deviled eggs were also delicious! Great vibe to the restaurant. Music was good too.

It's been awhile since I've been back to Yardbird at the Beverly Center. Yardbird serves classic Southern fare in a chill atmosphere and they do it very well. I had their Deviled Eggs to start. These eggs are very popular and nicely presented. It was a bit heavy on the mustard but still very tasty. For the entree, I couldn't resist their chicken and waffles. Whoever created this food trend was a genius. The chicken thigh was nice and juicy and the waffle with the sweetness from the bourbon maple syrup actually complimented it well. The portion size at Yardbird is fairly generous. My soul was definitely comforted with this delicious Southern cuisine. Service was very good. The staff was attentive without being annoying. Yardbird is located on the corner of 3rd and La Cienega in the Beverly Center. Parking is in the Beverly Center parking lot and at the mall parking rates. Yardbird does not provide any parking validation at the mall. I was fortunate to find free street parking off 3rd Street.

This place is OK. The restaurant itself is fairly large but not packed for a Friday night. Lots of wood accents. And the music was upbeat house music (think The Abbey in weho). Service was decent. The deviled eggs were ok but very cold in temperature! A little bit of bacon on top would have set it off. I ordered the Nashville hot sandwich - it wasn't spicy. The chicken thigh was very salty though. And The brioche bun felt a little small for the sandwhich set up. My date got the shrimp and grits and mentioned it was good. Overall, not bad. Few more spices and a little less salt would liven up the chicken dishes

A huge thank you to Yardbird for accommodating five hungry ladies. We stopped here before going to Secret Santa. Juan was our server and he was amazing. The ambience is a mix of chilled and classy atmosphere. Since we were in a time crush, they brought our food pretty quick. We ordered two orders of chicken tenders thinking that they were small, the portions were pretty big. They were so flavorful and tender. The wedge salad and deviled eggs were to die for as well. Highly recommended!!

My son is a comfort food snob and I decided to treat him to just that. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks. I opted for Tequila which is on the menu but, wasn't in stock. For an appetizer we ordered the biscuits which was paired with butter and an amazing jam! I ordered the Braised Short Rib with a potato purée, veggies and topped with a sauce reduction. The protein was tender , had great flavor and the veggies paired extremely well with the dish. My son ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Mac n cheese. He absolutely loved his meal. We will definitely come back and have those biscuits!

This place does NOT disappoint. The staff were so friendly and very weary of their customers well being. They kept us up to date in terms of our table being made ready. When we got to the table they had a card wishing my wife a happy birthday. The gesture was very thoughtful and moving. The food? AMAZING. I had the blackened salmon, side of Brussels sprouts and picked at the salad, buiscuits, chicken and waffle. Almost got the lobster Mac and cheese but the rest was so full of flavor that I settled myself down. The decor and ambience was cool AF too. Really good experience over all. Definitely coming back to try more menu items. Oh and their whiskey selection!? Leaves a grown man drooling.

tldr: Very good DineLA deal. Great take on Fried Chicken & Waffles. I would love to come back and branch into the rest of their menu.--Food & Drink- 4.5/5I ordered the DineLA lunch special with a non-alcoholic drink.Pineapple FizzExcellent. Not too acidic like many other pineapple drinks. Fizz (egg whites) gives it great texture and the garnishes contribute an herbal fruitiness to the pineapple aroma. For an $8 mocktail, this slapped. Much better than most other alcoholic drinks you'll get a high-end bar.Deviled EggsMore on the mustard side but perfectly airy texture with nice touch of paprika and roe. I liked how they served it on top of extra filling in case I wanted more.Fried Chicken And WafflesServed with a side of bourbon maple syrup and hot sauce. The syrup had a taste of bourbon but without the alcohol bite which makes me wonder if they used a bourbon flavoring rather than real bourbon. And the hot sauce was very very mild - as in you could pour a ton on without making it even a bit spicy. The dish was also served with a garnish of watermelon which was cubed then covered in the same hot sauce as far as I can tell. Giving it a bit of flavor and removing some of the natural sweetness watermelon usually has. Not bad, kind of unique to be honest, but I am not sure what purpose this garnish adds to the overall dish. Now onto the main part... the chicken and waffles. The Chicken juicy with standard southern style breading and either pounded or butterflied into a flat cutlet similar to a schnitzel (most of the volume is the breading). Solid fried chicken but not so exceptional, especially compared to the waffle...The Waffle was great and particularly very unique. Texturally it reminded me of a mochi waffle with a creamy flavor. I believe they put cheese in it (along with some herbs) to achieve this effect. To me, it was reminiscent of a cheese biscuit which also tastes amazing with fried chicken.Overall, I love the creativity in this interpretation of Fried Chicken and Waffles with the waffles imitating a cheese biscuit. When combined the chicken and waffles with the sauces, however, I think the bourbon flavor got lost and tasted like generic pancake syrup and the hot sauce wasn't spicy enough to add much except a bit of acidity. To me, it was just as good with or without the condiments. So if you're trying to save calories, I may avoid putting either on.Deep Fried OreoI really enjoyed this. They used something that reminded me of rice krispies or corn flakes as the breading which provided a complementary sweetness to the chocolatey Oreo. They Oreo itself had been a bit soft (soggy) but this is what allowed it to blend in texturally with the soft breading.--Ambiance - 5/5Very clean and well maintained with Modern rustic decor. Lots of hidden chickens around which I certainly appreciate :) --Service & Experience - 5/5Sat at bar Friday, Jan 31st around 1PM. Restaurant tables were mostly empty but the bar was mostly full.Bartender was very attentive and clearly competent in his role. I asked for the DineLA menu, selected my choices. And within about 5 minutes, I received the appetizer deviled eggs. Fried Chicken and Waffles came around 120. And perfectly timed as I finished that, Fried Oreos came around 135 for dessert.Side note: there was a customer who walked in perhaps a bit beligerant (insisting to order alcohol without presenting ID) and the bartender handled it impeccably so major props to him for that.--Detailed ThoughtsOne of the better DineLA deals I've ever had. So much yummy food, especially at an affordable price for one person. Would love to come back, branch into the rest of their menu, and try more of their drinks.
