Yangmani is now one of our favorite kkq spots. It is on the more expensive side but the quality of the meat is awesome and the service is top notch. They grilled the meat for you. We have been to both locations, Rowland heights and the Korea town. Each location has a slightly different menu set of meat. I prefer the Korea town location more. Their banchan is a little more unique. They offered more pickled vegetables to go with their meat and soybean stew. The Rowland heights offer a typical banchan set with japchae, stewed meat and steam egg and cheese corn. We've tired the tofu stew at both location, the ktown one seemed tastier. Their spicy and reg cold noodles were also good. They have many cuts of meat. The chef combo is always a great starter there are other combos or a la carte selections to choose from.

Checked out the updated location and was disappointed in the new direction they seem to be going. Bigger portions, cheaper prices, but the quality has fallen off tremendously. The old Yangmani on Olympic Blvd was truly a special place. Everything tasted like it was prepared by a master of their craft. The banchan was thoughtful, rivaling the entrees of other restaurants and their meat was of the highest quality. Imagine me and my fiancés surprise when we came to this new location after a year of no Yangmani and the cuts of meat were inconsistent, the banchan was missing key ingredients, and the flavor was lacking across the board. We were actually confused and thought something was wrong with our taste buds. It was no different than a mid AYCE spot. It was just okay, which is such a far departure from the hole-in-the-wall spot that used to blow our minds. If you love the old Yangmani, heed this review as a warning. You will be disappointed. I won't be going back here.

Great service, great food, hardly any wait...what more can you ask for in a KBBQ spot? Besides maybe free parking...but it's LA so I'm used to paying valet or street parking. I hadn't been to the new location, but it's just as good as the OG spot...side dishes were on point. Classic side dishes that really complement the meat offerings. Oh and their kimchi biji jjigae with pork...wow. Just comfort in a stone bowl. The meat quality is great and they grill it to perfection! Service at the OG spot was the best at any KBBQ spot I had been to, so to see that the same level of service was given at this spot was a plus. The Chef Cut Combo doesn't seem like much, but trust me...for 2 dudes, it was more than enough and we left stuffed. After trying Origin because I wanted to try a new spot and being underwhelmed...I'll definitely be back here so, catch me if you can!

This review is from the new location at 414 S. Western Ave. #E, LA.Food: 4.5 starsService: 5 starsAmbiance: 5 starsWe arrived on Friday night around 6:30 pm after work, and the place was already packed. We had to wait about an hour and were seated at 7:30 pm. For the four of us, we ordered the Variety Combo ($129.95) and the Seasoned Boneless Short Rib ($49.95). The meats from the Variety Combo were all delicious, though I was slightly disappointed with the Beef Mountain Tripe, as it was dry. It had been precooked and left to cook last, which caused it to dry out. The Boneless Short Rib was decent but not the best we've had.The service was excellent from the moment we were seated until we left. Different servers came to cook the meat, and they were all fantastic. It appears the restaurant underwent a full renovation since the previous one, and everything was clean. I recommend sitting near the window area for less smoke and better ventilation. I'm glad that Yangmani is now more convenient to visit, and I'll definitely be returning.

Food: the meat was definitely high quality and super tender. We got the Chef's cut plus pork belly and every meat was super good. The side dishes were unique and different from all the kbbq places I've been. There's no kimchi banchan which I was surprised about since it's a Korean restaurant. We finished our meats and were ready for the check but they said we still have a soy bean soup and scorched rice in barley tea coming out. I wish they came out while we were eating the meats. Service: solid but I wish they explained the side dishes to first time visitors. I was quite unfamiliar with most of them and was confused how to eat some of them. I think my go-to kbbq spot would still be Baekjong mostly because of the side dishes and portion but I would say the meat here is a bit better.

Delicious food. Great vibe. Fun place to dine. Authentic Korean. Excellent waiters. We got there at 450 pm on a Saturday and just beat the long line that was present when we left

Wow really started off the New Year with such a good kbbq spot, saw my friend post this place on IG and I had to absolutely try and this place definitely did not disappoint and probably my new favorite kbbq place in LA. Food: this place is not an AYCE but a higher end place that has specialty meat like dry aged ribeye. We got the Chang Combo which is meat that is considered more of a delicacy, and wow it was so good most specially because it was paired so nicely with all the Banchan side dishes it came with.Service: Wasn't bad, maybe because we came at a time that it wasn't too busy? They spaced out cooking the meat, which gave us ample time to enjoy each one without rushing

yangmani was my favorite kbbq spot I've been trying to gate keep for a couple of years. so happy that they were able to relocate to a bigger place that has valet parking, more space etc. I came here with a bunch of friends last weekend and I was pretty disappointed by my experience. - They tend to now only give 1 set of banchan even for 8+ group - The space doesn't have great ventilation so the air is consistently smokey (not great for kids) - They ran out of rice paper (we went 3-4 hours prior to closing) - The service is really slow and the service was not great. At the end of the meal, the waiter asked us if we wanted bean paste stew and scorched rice which we wanted. We waited 15-20 minutes after the stew was provided and asked when the rice was going to be provided and he let us know that they ran out of rice 2 hours ago? Not sure what he was thinking.. I feel like he should have given us the soup during the meal so we were not ending our meal with 2 bowls of salty soup. Giving it still a 3 star because the food is still good, but with this service I might go and try out other KBBQs in the area.

We initially went to their original location, but since it hadn't been updated on Apple Maps, we discovered that they had moved instead. The additional 15-minute drive was absolutely worth it! I was craving KBBQ, specifically their specialty--intestines.We ordered one of the set meals, which included four types of meat, and added a serving of large beef intestine. As with most KBBQ restaurants, they handle the cooking for you, which is always a nice touch. Every cut of meat was flavorful and practically melted in your mouth, with the intestine being a standout. The sides were equally impressive, featuring a mix of classics like rice paper, radish, and salad, along with more traditional offerings such as fermented ground beef in gochujang. One unique dish was a combination of onions and pear which provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the meats. The new location is significantly larger than the original and offers valet parking (cash only), making it convenient for larger groups.

We always have a great time at Yangmani! We recently visited their new location with our entire family. As expected, the food was excellent, and the meat quality remains top-notch!However, I did notice that some of my favorite banchan from the previous location were missing--please bring back the Yukhoe and those classic side dishes! They were such a great part of the experience.Would also love to see a happy hour option added in the future! Regardless, still one of our go-to KBBQ spots. Highly recommend!
