Wow Cow Korean BBQ

I love Korean bbq and this place deff is up to par. The food and service are both great.I love the atmosphere and music playing, very friendly staff and clean restaurant and the food was amazing. I will deff be back again :-)

Came here for the 1st time on my Bday and the food was great.. Ordered the Deluxe all you can eat and me and the Fam were very happy.. We will come back!

I had been wanting to try this place after seeing positive reviews. Over the years, I've seen this location change names multiple times, and it always looked empty from the outside, which made me hesitant. I finally decided to give it a shot last night with a group. Upon entering, there was a small wait, which was a good sign. However, the pink and white balloon arch at the entrance made us feel like we were walking into a baby shower rather than a restaurant. After a short wait, we were seated and greeted by Mayra, who was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She was especially on top of changing the grill, which we appreciated. One nice feature is the self-serve bar with sauces and sides. There was also sushi available, but we opted not to try it. We went with the premium menu at about $50 per person, mainly because we wanted to order beef tongue. Unfortunately, there was nothing "premium" about the meat quality. We've had much better cuts at authentic Korean BBQ restaurants for the same price. To top it off, a woman with short hair refused to let us order sesame balls at the end and instead just handed us the check, an abrupt and odd way to close out the meal. We had a little discussion about whether we'd return in the future, and honestly, the decision is still up in the air. We'll see.

First time here and had such an amazing experience. Definitely will be back !!Salad bar had a good selection. Waiters were Very kind and took the time to explain the happy hour menu. The ambience here was very interactive. Can't wait to be back

Amazing Korean BBQ! We came here on Valentine's Day (with a slew of other couples and families with the same idea!). They offered a rose and bottle of champagne to every lady as long as we posted on social media and tagged them. Pretty sweet deal! Let me break this review by parts: PARKING: Plenty of it. It's in a shopping center so there's a ton of parking. WAIT: The sooner you get there, the better. If you do get there when it gets super busy, it's probably up to an hour wait. FOOD: Now, here's the good part - there are a ton of choices and sometimes, it can be overwhelming. There are a ton of appetizers to also choose from as well. My hubby really loved the kimchi soup and it was a full bowl of soup! Very generous. The french fries were also perfect and that was rather unexpected. My favorites were the short ribs and the sweet chicken. I highly recommend those! SERVICE: Excellent. They changed the pans frequently and we didn't have to wait long to get refills on drinks. Overall, I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

My son had the day off from school so I decided to get lunch with him. He's been really liking beef and steaks recently so I decided to come get Korean barbecue with him. Parking is in a plaza so it's pretty easy to park. The restaurant is relatively big. They were only two parties seated besides us. As far as service, I have zero complaints. The waitress was really friendly and patient.Now for the bad. Our first order of meats were really good. We got the brisket, the rib finger, and the short rib and they were all excellent. For our second round, we ventured into the marinated meats and that's when everything went downhill. All the marinated meats had weird color and flavor, as if they were sitting in a tub marinating for weeks. I honestly regret getting any of them and should've stuck with my original round. They also have a self serve condiment area and salad bar, which has questionable sushi and other things. I really wanted to like this place, but it was very disappointing. I also didn't like how they charge kids by height and not by age.

First time coming to this location. The staff is very friendly & very responsive. I didn't have to wait very long for food. The meat quality was excellent and very fresh. There is a large variety of choices in the premium menu. The ambiance is good. It's bright and friendly & the music isn't so loud that I had to yell to talk to my partner.10/10 would return again

This restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. During Friday night and weekends this place to get super busy. Today we came on a Monday evening and we were sat immediately. They do have a different pricing for children, but it is based on height which is half off. This restaurant also has a happy hour Monday-Friday 11a-3p and Monday-Thursday 9p-close $29.99. They offer a deluxe menu which is $39.99 and a premium menu $49.99. The place has a very trendy vibe. It also has a self serve appetizer area with sushi, veggies, salsa. They also offer different appetizers off the menu by fries, Gyoza, spring rolls and a lot of other options. Even though we have a Korean barbecue spot near our house we always make our way over to El Monte because the service is great, the food is great, and the vibe is great!

The food was very delicious! Clean environment and friendly staff! I would recommend eating the taro balls with condensed milk!
