We we in town to celebrate our daughter's acceptance and campus tour to CSUN.We were in the mood for comfort food with all the rain.We We warmly greeted at the curb by the valet and even more so by the hostess.Our table was cozy as we had our fabulous family dinner.As a party of 5 our drinks,apps and entrees came out flawlessly.We will definitely be back the menu was fresh and the restaurant had the vibe we were looking for.Our meals started with salads, Cauliflower and rolls.Chris our server was knowledgeable and gave wonderful recommendations.My husband has never been a fan of lamb and his first bite was brilliant!My deconstructed beef wellington was so flavorful and was paired with a balanced red wine also recommend by our server.My three young adult children had the hamburger, lobster sliders and my youngest had the Prime rib eye...you go girl!

Four of us went to dinner at Wood & Water. I came here often, pre-Covid, for their happy hour oyster special. We shared several appetizers and entree dishes. All were very good. The prices, however, were high.Service was excellent. Parking, unless you want to pay for valet, may be hard to find.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal here last night. I started with the ceviche and had the salmon as my appetizer. She enjoyed her beet salad and seabass. The staff was extremely hospitable. I look forward to going back. I also highly recommend their restaurant on the west side called Chelsea. I think that one is my favorite.

The vibes here were very cool however the food was disappointing especially for the price listed. The sushi dishes were good, the burrata toast was bland and flavorless, and all the bread given was stale. The duck egg rolls were very tough and chewy, not my preference on the cook, and finally the ribeye Wellington was overcooked and also tough/chewy. I had to cut through it with a knife with much effort, and even this was tough to do, rather than pulling it apart with my fork as rib eye should be. The meat was all overcooked rather than tender and juicy. Overall I was disappointed with the food here, especially considering how pricey it was for under flavored and overcooked food, however their saving grace were the drinks. I'd only come back here for the drinks.

Best Lobster Bisque in LA. From Dinner to Brunch you want to visit this restaurant. Bottomless Rose, and Mimosas are also available.

If you want a great steak and superb alcohol, come to Wood and Water. Located into Sherman Oaks on Ventura Boulevard, Wood and Water offers intimate ambience and delicious food and drink. I had the smoked Manhattan, which was delicious, aromatic, and beautifully presented. My hubby and I shared the duck eggrolls and the 16 ounce bone in New York steak, and we finished every scrap. Time slowed down, and it was a great break from life to sit and be comfortable and have a fun night together.

I have dined here a lot of times but never did a review lol. The food here is amazing. I love their homemade Lobster pasta and apple walnut salad. The service is outstanding. Everyone is kind, helpful, and attentive. Nice atmosphere with cool lighting. I love coming here. Reasonable prices and an admirable size menu. Great alcohol drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to hang out with friends or to celebrate a special occasion. Note: I forgot the manager's name but the gentleman that's a male black with a bald head was amazing he made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout our dining. Crafted cocktails and music night on certain days.

Had some prime rib and....this Spicy Tuna a fried eggplant cracker is to die for! Get in here

Great dining experience here last week! Their patio is very cozy & warm. I had the lobster sliders, arugula salad, crispy zucchini blossoms, and yellowtail with watermelon. The star for me was the yellowtail with watermelon. The sauce was divine & you get a kick from the thin slices of jalapeño on each piece of yellow. The watermelon was not too sweet but a perfect complement to the yellowtail & sauce. Lobster sliders were also yummy

Best thing I ate here.Wild Boar with Ragu and Parpadelle - very good but I've had better elsewhere. Good portion. The fried rosemary sprig was an interesting touch. Radicchio and Endive Salad - not a fan of Radicchio so would not recommend Lobster Squid Ink Pasta - I sampled my friend's. Pasta did not taste briny, al dente Fries- great, skinny, freshly shaved Parmesan, 3 dipping sauces Bananas Foster - This was disappointing. The highlight was watching it made before our eyes. Not worth all the butter which I didn't taste (unsalted?), same with the rum, and the presentation was lacking. Needed some crunch for texture but was sizable at least.Women's bathroom was well maintained and I always appreciate a pleasant scented candle. Would come back and get more lobster rolls and fries!
