This restaurant is amazing. It superseded my expectations. I came here last Friday after work.I enjoyed the aesthetic & ambiance. It was very inviting. The music was on point. The DJ was doing his thing. My friend & I thought it was jazz night, but were still pleased with the playlist. Our server was kind, professional, & efficient. We ordered appetizers to nosh on. The brown butter labneh, brussel sprouts, mushroom arancini, & truffle fries. I had an espresso martini & my friend had a couple lemon drops. Every single item was fantastic. I've never experienced that before. The chefs really delivered that night. It was a euphoric & orgasmic experience. The food was savory & flavorful. Even the sauces were complimentary to the dishes. The only thing I wished was that the fries were long enough. They were a little short. My drink was stiff. Very strong. My friend was content with her drinks. They definitely hit the spot. This will be the new watering hole. I'm going to recommend this restaurant to my friends & coworkers. I can't wait to come back.

The drinks were good, but wasn't a fan of the pizza. The dough on the bottom wasn't crisp so when you pulled it off the plate it flopped down and everything slid off. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The crust was cooked fine, so that was a weird uneven cook. The service was also slow. My friend had to find us a waiter because we sat for a while without someone coming to take our order. Interior was nice and fun. Great for socializing, but I would only recommend going there for the drinks/cocktails.

Have you noticed that I have been complaining that there are fewer interesting restaurants in Westwood than there were a couple of decades ago? Some of my old faves are gone but this weekend I forced myself to actually walk around Westwood Village a bit and discovered that, despite the preponderance of chains, a couple of indy spots are there. They are new to me but not necessarily to Westwood. Faith restored! Let's talk about one of them: Wolfsglen.I have nothing but good, if not great, things to say. It is conveniently located on Glendon, right in the heart of the action. This weekend it is clear the fall semester is underway and things were bustling. So much so that I worried I couldn't find good parking but did, right around the corner at a two hour meter. Yay!Lovely autumn temps and sunshine added to a nice little walk to Wolfsglen. It is a bit mysterious from the outside, but you get it once you go in. And, wow, it's spacious and modern. Very clean, the seats are comfy, there are screens for entertainment (a vintage movie and some clever electronic paintings, for example). The tables are sturdy marble, the cutlery is hefty, and the thick snow white napkins are actually made of linen. Wow.The menus shown online do not do the actual menus justice, especially for brunch. We were there around 1:30 pm and you can see all the offerings on one of my pictures. Plenty of stuff for vegetarians. All I had to do was ask that they hold the meat on one of my selections. I would call the list "Westwood fusion", reflecting the various tastes that populate this beautiful college town. The portions are really generous, the quality of the food is first rate, even the coffee was exceptional (Lavazza?). Our server, Eddie was so kind, generous, and charming that we were basically bowled over by him. He noticed things on the table, arranged everything for our comfort, brought the food in stages as if he read our minds, and then went even further to make this an exceptional experience by giving us little perks that made us vow to return. And, the tab was downright awesome -- we had to look twice to believe our eyes. The take home boxes are microwavable and dishwasher safe, and without any prompting Eddie brought us a tall bag for them. The fries were some of the best I have ever had, the labneh was so flavorful that I didn't want to stop eating it. There was a fresh Caesar salad side with something toasty and crunchy and garlicky on top. And, do you see the pita? Home made and top of the line. I am a baker, I know what it takes to make pita like that!As if that wasn't enough, there is entertainment twice a month, with dancing (!!) and a full bar if you just want to stop in for a snack and brew. Then, just to make sure I was over the moon, they sent me a thank you note for dining there. What?! Who does that!?I may miss some of the oldies, but Wolfsglen more than makes up for that. This may be the best place to eat in Westwood now. In fact, I could swear by that.

Came here during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious bites. My favorite was the arancini and the hummus and pita.I think it was overall a good experience but was not wowed. The vibes here are interesting in the day time - I think it might be better to come at night when there's no daylight out. Better for a moody night!

I came here for dinner and honestly felt a bit underwhelmed, especially given the price point for the dishes. We started off with some appetizers and drinks. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was quite good. The brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious and flavorful, but the broccolini was underwhelming and unmemorable. We had also ordered the shishito, but that never came. Only when we asked about them were we informed that they were out of that appetizer. For the entrees, I ordered the seabass. While the seabass was cooked well, flaky and not fishy, the flavoring -- which I believe was spicy coconut, was mild and subtle. I couldn't really taste much of it. Someone in my party got the steak, but asked if he could substitute the frites for potatoes, but they could not accommodate this, which seemed odd to me. The desserts were really where the highlights. The blueberry dessert was standout!

Wolfsglen offers elevated cuisine in an intimate setting. I've only been for lunch on a few occasions, so I'm not sure what their dinner service is like, but the lunch service is very slow. Always polite, just slow. This isn't a knock on the server, I think it's more just being understaffed during early lunch.Everything I've had here has been really good. They have a pretty good burger, and I really enjoyed their Brown Butter Labneh. Time before last I tried their Gorgonzola and pear pizza, I can't remember all of the ingredients but can recall it being really good. This time around I tried their standard pepperoni pizza with fresh mozzarella. It was great!

The food here is solid! The interior is elegant with neon accents. The portions were really generous as well! Our server was okay, the experience would've been better if he didn't urge us to order drinks.

Would have been 5 stars except for the server who took over when I server had to leave for the evening. He had white hair and blue eyes and was pretty awful from rude service to not putting in additional items and when we asked again he was like "you still want it" instead of apologizing or just correcting it. Our original server was awesome, she was welcoming and informative regarding the menu options. The food was terrific. BROWN BUTTER LABNEH and BONE MARROW & WAGYU PASTRAMI were my 2 favorites. The building was very cool!
