This place is not exactly " fine dining" inside BUT, more of a take-out establishment. However, it is clean and waitstaff is lovely.Great lunch prices! Wirin Thai Restaurant is located off the main road and seems to cater more to takeout orders rather than dine-in experiences. My uncle and I decided to stop by for a quick meal at night, drawn in by the convenience. The menu consists of several Thai-inspired dishes along with other similar cuisines. I ordered the Chef Special, which included BBQ chicken, Thai beef jerky, BBQ ribs, shrimp fried rice, and an egg roll, along with an appetizer of coconut shrimp. The Chef Special was inconsistent--the chicken had some tender parts but was mostly extremely dry. The Thai beef jerky was tough to chew, while the small portion of ribs ended up being one of the better things on the plate. The shrimp fried rice was disappointing, with only two small pieces of shrimp and mediocre rice. The egg roll was your standard takeout variety--nothing special. Surprisingly, the coconut shrimp appetizer was flavorful and paired well with the sweet and sour like sauce. The server was nice, but with limited seating and a slightly rundown atmosphere, it's clear this place is more of a takeout spot. While the ambiance was decent enough for a sit-down meal, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the food came from frozen or pre-packaged ingredients. All in all, I'd give it a solid 3 stars--keeping it real, I wouldn't come back for another meal. (Sorry, No Photos).

People here couldn't be any nicer--they're incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. The food is thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and authentic. Surprisingly very reasonably priced. Everything we tried was delicious! My favorite was the Thai Glass Noodle Salad - Yum Woon Sen - my go to dish. It had a perfect balance of lime acidity, and saltiness with crunchy fresh vegetables. We also enjoyed (I know it's not so Thai authentic) Orange Chicken. It was crispy and not too gooey sweet. Curries were amazing too. We will definitely be back!

Mom and pop thai restaurant with good service. The lunch special comes with rice and a fragrant soup. Seems they've built their loyal customer base since every visitor doesn't sound like first visitor.

My favorite Thai spot for over a decade, almost every time I go to another Thai spot I regret not going to Wirin instead. I still remember going to Thailand and being astonished at how much the food tasted exactly like the food at Wirin Thai. This family run hole in the wall restaurant, is truly a hidden gem. The service is always superb as well.Recommendations: I recommend the curry dishes, the red is my favorite, but many love the green curry here as well. I feel like their specialty is curry and rice dishes, the noodles here are not at the same level though. The mango sticky rice (when in season) is usually pretty good too.Food: 5/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 3/5Value: 5/5Overall: 4.5/5

Awesome hole-in-the-wall Thai spot! Reasonable prices and convenient free street parking nearby. We had the Pad Z Ew & Pad Thai (both chicken), and they were really awesome! Great flavors! Service was pretty friendly, and SO many people came to pick up food for takeout. It's evident that it's a beloved Venice institution, and with good reason. The prices are outstanding for 2024 LA, and their portions are very generous. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for really good, fairly priced Thai restaurant on the westside (Marina/Venice) area for as long as I can remember. I accidentally noticed Wirin today. Be aware you do not eat here for the atmosphere. I ordered a spicy eggplant lunch special with chicken soup, salad, brown rice and small egg roll. First off the chicken soup was not salty, delicious and it was embellished with crispy, not overcooked, veggies. The main dish was delicious with a really fair portion especially considering the price. I met the manager and told him I will be a regular. They deliver to the area in-house with no delivery fee. It's on the east side of Lincoln a few doors north of Venice Blvd.

Did not know what to expect based on prior reviews, but Wirin Thai exceeded my expectations and is now one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried. It's hard to come by good quality, authentic Thai cuisine these days especially with the prices being so reasonable and with good sized portions. The service was also quite friendly. I don't live in the area but will definitely come again whenever I get the chance.

Take only the night we tried it. The Yellow Curry chicken is good not as sweet as other restaurants. The Spicy Eggplant beef is also good the spice is just right for us. We liked the Pad Thai as well. The quality and taste is good for the price. There are a couple of other Thai places we tried which taste somewhat better but they charged almost double. We will return to try other dishes including soups next time. Also the Thai Tea is pretty sweet but with good flavor next time I'll ask if they can make it pass sweet.
