Willie’s Grill & Deli

My husband told me about this place that was recommended to him by Burbank House of Hobbies. I would have never believed that this was located inside a liquor store! They have their own parking lot and street parking of 30 minutes.The service was awesome and was quick! My favorite was their rice! My husband said I had to try their rice because it was like the way his mom makes it (which I LOVE)! He had a ratatouille moment when he took a bite of his burrito and tasted the rice. I had to buy a small container to go!Their burritos are hefty and had a lot of choices. They had a soda fountain machine for drinks. Since this is a liquor store, they had snacks and liquor of all sorts available to buy and quite possibly drink on the premises... I'd double check that with the store though.There is a small seating area where you can dine in. More like a bar top kind of setting.I am definitely coming back for that rice!The ambiance was casual and they kept the doors open so it was a little cold

Located inside Alameda Liquor Store, this deli is great for your cravings from burgers to cold cuts, hot sandwiches (cheesesteak sandwich) to Mexican food. 2 tables to dine in or you can take it to go. Cheesesteak sandwich was good but could use a little bit more salt. Same with the Santa Fe sandwich. The Asada fries were ok but again lacked flavor. The prices are a little high but freshly made food is always better. Nice and quiet. If you do decide to eat there.

Willie's Grill & Deli is inside the Alameda Liquor store. The sign outside the just reads " Grill & Deli", perhaps Willie left the building? The outside sign use to read Willie's Grill/Fish n Chips for the longest time. I stopped by to try the deli and grill, but can't help notice inside that this is a great liquor store full of spirits, wine, beer, any beverages or snacks you can think of; HUGE selections! Clean aisles. The Grill and Deli has limited hours. I tried: The fish and chips were awful! Chewy, fishy, and overcooked with no seasoning. Skip! Their version of "cheesesteak" comes with peppers, onions, provolone, and thousand island dressing on a French roll. Made to order with good quality meat. Very good! Fresh.I would definitely come back here for the deli and grill, just NOT for fish and chips!

Affordable good budget eats. I was pleased for the price we paid. Clean, classy and legit sandwich. Cant go wrong!

Hands down best fish & chips I have ever had. Huge portions. Two folks can split it. Highly recommend.

I haven't tried the majority of items on the menu but I love love love the chili cheese fries! It's cheap, filling, and delicious. You should totally give it a try! I am a regular at this point and maybe will try something new soon. There's usually always parking and the hours work great.

This breakfast burrito helps me be a better me. 10/10 would recommend. I have seen the light

I've lived around the block from here 15 years and today was only the second time eating from here. This go round I tried one of the breakfast burritos. It did not disappoint. Good size, hearty and delicious. Will try a different meat combination next time.

My favorite hole-in-the-wall spot in the area. Amazing burritos, deli sandwiches, burgers, and liquor/convenience store. Everyone working here is friendly and the chicken burrito is especially great. This small, unassuming spot has better burritos than many other overhyped spots in the area, and they make them so quickly and with love! Cannot recommend this spot more - I'm there every week or two!
