This new pizza spot is the highlight of Highland Park, in my eyes. I have been twice and had a delightful time both of those. The environment is perfect with a great vibe, low lighting and attentive staff. The interior is very on trend (though the inside tables can be slightly close to one another). I enjoyed how the waiters would top up your wine by appearing at the table with the bottle. The wine selection is great and evidently chosen with purpose. I would recommend the fizzy red, which I think was a Lambrusco. On food, I would obviously recommend pizza. We have always shared a few, giving us the chance to try a range. The mushroom and raclette pizza was particularly incredible, especially considering it didn't sound like a show stopper. The lamb pizza is also divine, especially as something quite different than you usually see on menus.I would thoroughly recommend this spot, though I would reserve a table in advance.

Wildcrust in Highland Park offers fresh, creatively delicious food with highlights like the Caesar salad, Burrata, duck liver mousse, and meatballs. While the pizza is worth skipping, these dishes make for a memorable meal. It's a bit on the pricey side, and sadly, due to bird flu, duck was unavailable as their purveyor couldn't meet supply. The corkage fee is $20, but it's waived if you order a glass of champagne, which is a nice and creative touch. The staff are friendly and accommodating, though they didn't honor our booth request, citing it for a high chair but later seating a group without one. The cozy ambience, with wooden tables and booths, adds to the charm. A side note: my party had trouble reading the sign, but I recognized it from earlier at The Foundry.

super yummy and the lamb tzatziki pizza folds :) the duck croquettes were creamy with an excellent crunch - wish there was a little bit of acidity in the dish as it's a very rich and fried item paired with the mayo. the grilled cabbage reminded me of caprese salad with the sundried tomatoes/cheese, and the lamb tzatziki pizza had a unique meaty taste and crust to it! all three items complemented each other well and the flavor profiles worked together so def mix and match here. there's bathrooms outside the restaurant and street parking was easy in the neighborhood. otherwise, their parking lot will occupy maybe 7 cars max.all the staff were attentive and kind, the ambience is def cozy and relatively casual. really liked the lighting in here!

It was my 1st time going. It was a cute date night type of place! We were fortunate enough to have made a reservation prior in advance so we didn't have to worry about last minute seating. Upon arriving we were greeted by the waitress. We enjoyed the ambiance even though it is cozier than I had anticipated. We started with the Duck Croquettes, Mushroom Pizza, and ended with the Duck Breast. My only contructive criticism about this dish would be to crisp up the skin so it'll add an elevated profile to this dish. The au jus was prepared the right way. Also, it seems like they didn't see the notes in our reservation as we were there to celebrate a birthday. I didn't feel the need to remind them as it was stated on the reservation and it wasn't like they were overwhelmingly busy despite being somewhat understaffed (a comment I heard from the manager himself when he addressed the table next to us).

Wildcrust is a relatively new restaurant in Eagle Rock and I had the opportunity to visit with a friend recently - it was such a great experience! We ordered the mushroom pizza, cabbage dish, and duck liver mousse. All three items were absolutely delicious. The pizza had a generous amount of mushrooms and the crust was perfectly thin and crispy. The cabbage was roasted and the flavor was unique and so tasty and sweet. The duck liver mousse came with yummy pieces of bread and was creamy and decadent. We ordered some wine which paired well with the meal - would definitely recommend for a cute date night or girls night out!Only warning is that they have a communal seating area where they may place you if you choose indoor seating; if it's you and one other person, you could be placed in the middle of the table across from each other. I think communal tables are my least favorite type of seating especially if you can't avoid it without sitting outside.

Came here with a reservation at 5:15 on a Saturday and it was bustling, understandably, about 10 days after their opening. We booked outdoor patio but it was raining and gray on the day, so the friendly staff graciously accommodated us inside. To start, we had the grilled cabbage which was delicious! Full of flavor, the pecorino sauce and sundried tomatoes really tied the dish together. Would definitely get this again and try their other wood fire grilled apps!! For pizzas, we had the funghi and lamb tzatziki (their signature)! The funghi was delightful - they used oyster mushrooms which provided more bite and less sogginess, but above all I loved that they used a red sauce instead of a customary white. The dough, sourdough and fermented for over 48 hrs, was soooo flavorful - tangy with just the right crisp and chew. The lamb tzatziki was also delicious, and not overwhelmingly heavy or complicated. Really enjoyed the green sauce on top with bites of mint and tender shredded lamb. We also shared a glass of red - lean wines by the glass menu but good picks. And shared a slice of tres leches cake bc we wanted to treat ourselves. Despite bringing a good appetite, we went home with half of 1 pizza. I will definitely be back and want to try their other pizzas and grilled dishes! Ambiance was moody and perfect for a date or intimate catch up. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable - hope they'll be open for a long time!

We are very excited about this new find. The ambiance is cozy, the service was super attentive checking in on us regularly and the food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the meatballs which had a super nice and soft consistency and the sauce was fantastic. As for the pizzas, they are perfection. We had the pleasure to talk to one of the owners. Her name is Angie and she told us that the sourdough they use is 14 years old and fermented for 48 hours before used for pizza. As a result, you get a super light pizza crust. She also said that the topping will change with the seasons. We can't wait to go back and try more items next tke

I love pizza and could eat it every day, so when I heard Wildcrust was opening in the area I had to be there for their grand opening. It's located in the same complex as Fondry & Queen St. There's a front patio area and an enclosed patio area. The inside dining area has booth seating and high-tops in addition to communal tables and the décor emits a midcentury vibe. Hostess Angelina was an absolute sweetheart and Jordan (server) was darling. I ordered the Marinara Pizza and a glass of Garuti Lambrusco Di Sobra. I always judge a pizza by the crust, and Wildcrust's woodfired sourdough crust was delicious! It was puffy on the edges and had a nice flavor. The marinara sauce was also exceptionally good. The person across from me had the Caesar Salad, and it looked amazing! I definitely want to try that next time. The place was packed and the owners made it a point to stop by each table to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal and asked for feedback. The staff went the extra mile to make guests feel welcomed. The delicious pizza and excellent service guarantees I'll be back.

You will be popular, you're gonna be popularrrr.I am beyond excited to welcome this restaurant to the neighborhood. Great pizza, great wine, and great vibes. We knew a guy who knew a guy and got to check out their soft opening, but you would think they had been open for years with how smoothly everything ran. There is a cute little patio and a small dining room, a giant pizza oven, and an amazing menu. The wine menu is small but mighty - we ended up with Post Flirtation and Le Cave and liked them so much, we got another glass of each. We had to do it up and get the duck liver mousse because DUH, and I was honestly so impressed. The pairing with apple relish is genius and makes it super crave-able.The pizza crust is fermented for 48 hours and cooked high and fast in their beautiful pizza oven. It is crispy but chewy and has a lot of flavor. We got the funghi pizza and the lamb tzatziki. The lamb tzatziki was out of this world! The lamb was tender and the addition of mint really pulled everything together. I also really enjoyed the funghi pizza, great for vegetarians! The wait staff were so attentive and knowledgeable, they really made our experience special. Shout out Travis (pretty sure that was his name). They have a small small parking lot that is shared with Queen St and Fondry, so I recommend street parking or ride sharing! Congratulations and welcome to HLP!

As a frequent patron of the restaurant scene, I can say without reservation this is one overall best dining experiences I've recently had and one not to be missed. Everyone in our party of five raved about the outstanding unique food (you'll never have better gourmet pizza, and both the Caesar salad and desserts were over the top), and the lively and welcoming neighborhood environment could not have been better. Kudos to Jean, one of the proprietors, and Angelina the hostess who were very attentive and made us feel at home. We all will be back very soon.
