Wi Jammin Carribean Restaurant

My son and I were randomly walking around the neighborhood to find a spot to eat and we picked this place. It's nothing fancy when you walk in, but don't let that fool you. The staff are kind and ready to take your order. The food was delicious! I got the oxtails and my son got to curry chicken. Once we started eating, we did not talk to one another. We were too focused on our food. The oxtails were tender tender and seasoned to perfection! The rice and peas were good and so was the cabbage. When I visit LA again, I'll definitely be back!

I like the oxtails with rice & peas it's full of flavor plus they have the best chicken sausage and French toast around nice play to come get Caribbean Food..

The oxtails were so soft and fell off the bone. Hard to explain, but I can taste the flavor of these oxtails better than other restaurants. The rice and peas were al dente. I like to mix the oxtail sauce with the rice.

We stopped in for lunch! We got a plate of the oxtails and goat curry. Food was delicious and definitely shareable. The goat curry was nice and spicy super flavorful and worth every penny. The oxtails were delicious as well, they gave a nice portion for the price. Service was good as well, attentive and helped us with our order from the cafe around the corner as well. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

I got the oxtail plate. Oxtails, cabbage, rice & peas (beans) and plantains. The cabbage lacked flavor, rice & peas were just ok, the plantains were just plantains. But the star here was the oxtails and the gravy!!!!! Babbbbyyyy the oxtails were delicious. The oxtails were 5 stars!!!!!I also got the pineapple ginger juice (pineginger) it was sweet and you do have to be a ginger lover. This drink was refreshing but not something I will drink with my food.

I love this food. It's not salty but has great seasoning. Their plate size is generous. There are 3 different patties. The food is prepared quickly and is so delicious. The service is delivered with a smile. They even put my patties in the warmer until I had finished my food and was ready to leave.

Container only half full despite steep prices. Ambience fit for takeout only. Meat & veg good, plantains & rice tasteless & dry. Prompt service & staff seemed authentic, but 1 declined credit card for my 30+$ purchase saying cash only but told another customer $15 minimum for card.

Food is great a little pricy. Did not provide hot sauce. Service fair. Ambiance none

recently dined at this Jamaican spot, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The oxtails were incredibly flavorful--definitely a 5/5. I do wish there had been a bit more meat on them, though. The rice was decent, but it was a bit uneven; half of it was generously covered in gravy while the other half was quite dry, so I'd rate it a 3/5. On the bright side, the salad was fresh and tasty, earning a solid 5/5. The plantains were delicious, but I would have loved to see more of them--perhaps adding a couple more pieces and slightly reducing the rice portion would make for a better balance.The service was fine; they were quite busy, but I appreciated that the food came out warm and ready to eat. It's a small tweak that could elevate the experience at this otherwise fantastic Caribbean spot! God bless your business and I'll be back for sure !

I ordered this or door dash order came wrong does this look like jerk chicken & jerk sauce on the side hell fuck I got some hot pepper chicken & hot sauce on the side & I got one cut up breast for $25 thumbs down worse jerk chicken I ever had, I called and the lady lied saying she put 4 sauces in my bag 2 hot sauces & 2 jerk sauce clearly only received 2 hot sauce for my dry chicken breast
