My family and I had the pleasure of dining at What Up Dough Pizza in Burbank, and I must say, it is a must visit place when you are in Burbank! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly staff that made us feel right at home.We were all thoroughly impressed with pizza as well! The kids and I couldn't get enough of the NY style thin cheese pizza. I tired the white sauce pizza and was flavorful. Don't forget to order Cannoli for dessert! The welcoming atmosphere, kid-friendly environment, and delicious pizzas make it a hit with both kids and adults. We can't wait to go back for another slice of the fun!

Burbank has a ton of pizza spots with a variety of offerings (Central Park Pizza and Prime have been my go to options), but I think What Up Dough's round pies might be my new favorite in the city. I got the CheeseMatic New York pizza (classic cheese pizza; as a FYI, they do BOGO deals on certain days) along with some wings (solid) and they were a great hit at home with the wife and kiddo. The pizza sauce is flavorful with a slight hint of sweetness that pairs very well with the cheese (surprisingly good cheese pulls). The crust and undercarriage are fantastic and have a great bite and chew. The undercarriage is well cooked and has some char and preserves the texture very well. Some places go for thin and crispy and end up burning the crust, but not here. The crust was crunchy and well cooked.Very happy with the newish pizza option in Burbank and will definitely be back!

I've driven past this place for a while and love the name so tonight I finally decided to stop in.I got some wings and some garlic knots. I got buffalo wings that were cooked perfectly! The sauce has a little sweetness to it that I really liked. I also got some garlic knots with marinara sauce which were fantastic. Buttery but also perfectly garlicky 5 stars. I will for sure come back and get some pizza. The vibes were chill they have 2 TVs and a good amount of seating. Service was quick and everything tasted fresh. I'll come back for sure!

Yummy. The dough and what up dough is a winner. Great crust and good chew. Some highlights:The ricotta and flavor on the Walter white pizza is so good. The flavor Carolina Gold for the wings is also super tasty- honey mustard flavor more sweet /tangy, really good. The wings were also pretty meaty.Would like to try Pushin P (potato) but no slices were available. Will be back!Stop by for a quick bite!

Read about this online, and thought it might be fun to try something new. My husband is a bit of a pizza fanatic, so was glad he was game too. It's pretty minimalist inside, a few tables (3 booths + a few tables) & a walk up counter. They have a case with pizza you can order by the slice, which they pull and heat up while you wait. While it's pretty much a self service restaurant, they do bring your food to your table if you dine in, which is a nice touch. Wish they had pepper flakes & dried oregano on the tables, but it is what it is. They offer fountain sodas, Mexican coke and bottled water to drink - no alcohol. We ordered a couple of slices, garlic knots, and a pizza to go. Where they really lost me, and a few stars, was on their customer service - or really lack thereof! We placed our order, and we were not given an itemized receipt and had to ask multiple times for one....maybe it's because of the 4% credit card processing fee they charge you, which they don't tell you about AND is not posted anywhere. I get it, businesses need to cover their expenses, but we dropped almost $60 for food AND added a tip, it would be nice to be told! The pizza was decent, not my favorite and not my husbands either. The garlic knots were to die for, but serving these with cold marinara was also a miss for me! Glad we tried it, but not sure we will be back!

Cool looking spot located right next to Crumbl on a busy street, so parking may be a little difficult. Open space with a few tables and glass displays so you can see the pizza slices. We were greeted when we walked in. Service was friendly. We just ordered one plain slice. Great thin crust. I like saucy pizza so not enough sauce for me it was a little dry. The slices are also imo quite small for the price. They have many other options and toppings to try.

The New York style is really good. I'm a good distance away from Burbank, and UberEats consistently delivers the pizza lukewarm, limp, and partly soggy but even then, the chew and flavor of that crust is just sublime. For my palate, many New York style pizzas do not have enough cheese, and I am happy to report that there is noticeably more cheese on a What Up Dough pizza.I also gave the Detroit a try. I requested well done and it was perfectly crispy and crunchy, despite the long travel. Unfortunately, the crumb structure wasn't too impressive and neither was the taste profile of the crust. Although it was better than many of its nearby competitors, it is still not quite suited for my palate so I stuck to the NY style for my future orders.Currently there is a B1G1 promo on UberEats, which after fees/tips/etc make it par for the course as paying for 2 regular priced pizzas. Once this promo ends, so will my love affair with What Up Dough as the fees just wouldn't make sense.

What Up Dough Pizza just opened up a couple of months ago in Burbank across the street from Porto's Bakery. Parking can be mission impossible in the area thanks to Porto's, but we had a thug life day and shot our shot with What Up Dough. There are a few spaces in the back alley but we got lucky with street parking just around the corner. It's an order at the counter and seat yourself type of place. My wife and I ordered a 6 piece buffalo wings and a full 6 slice pizza of The Hot Boy Roman Pizza. It looks like a lot of people get their orders to go but we dined in. There's about 3 booths to the side, 2 counters for eating and 6 tables in the center. Food came out in a fair amount of time. Be sure to grab a lot of napkins next to the drink station because the wings and pizza get messy as hell! Can't complain though since they're both pretty good so it's worth the dirty paws! My better half could only finish one slice before getting stuffed, so next time we just might get the pizza by the slice. I originally thought the full pizza was a little pricey, but the slices are pretty huge and filled with toppings so it's actually pretty reasonable. Overall, What Up Dough Pizza is pretty solid and a great addition to Burbank if you're in the mood for some good pizza. Hope they continue to find success at this busy intersection! They also have some merch if you're a fan - my wife surprised me with a t-shirt before we left!

I finally found my go-to pizza place! As a big pizza lover, I was wondering if I would find my favorite spot since moving to LA. I couldn't wait to share my review with my fellow Yelpers. If you're ever in Burbank, please visit this place. The customer service was great, and the interior was clean. I had the deep dish Detroit-style pepperoni pizza. The bread was crispy, and I loved that you can buy by the slice. I highly recommend supporting this business, and I will be back soon!

A new pizza spot in Burbank serving quality pies with great service! They have a wide variety of pizzas to choose from with options for everyone and they serve them in 2 styles, roman style or new-york style.I got the hot boy and walter white slices with a side of deez knotz. Everything was delicious and the walter white was an excellent white slice with a punch of flavor and one of the best I've ever had. The crust was chewy and crispy while not being burnt and there was plenty of cheese and toppings on top. The hot boy was outstanding with loads of spicy sauce on top and an excellent crust and the pepperoni and basil on top were a nice touch.Overall, I had some delicious slices here and the staff here are friendly and offer recommendations if you need one and the interior is clean and there's plenty of seating and tables. If you are a pizza fan, check this spot out if you are in the area!
