Michael and Christy - thank you - Just amazing service over all as always. Yanin and his staff are just the best. The food is always fresh and never disappoint. Y'all should get the lemon drop and Trex! The rib eye sashimi is a must to get. This place rocks always. Thank you Yanin and team. Special mention to Michael and Christy our server for the night. Any servers there - youll be treated with first class service. Courteous and always accommodating.

Standard sushi fare, nothing special but still tasty as usual. Prices reflect City Walk atmosphere. We did have to wait, but thankfully we just walked the area while we waited for the text. The service is mediocre. No one came to check on us, we had to keep waiving down a waiter. The food took a really long time to come out. There we only three of us, I think we got two sushi rolls and an expensive bowl of ramen. But the restaurant seemed empty for having to wait. I also hated the way the tables are set up. Why would you have a chair placed under the curtains so they are constantly in my way??I think it is fine if you are in the area, but there are better places for groups or drinks and better places for sushi if you aren't at City Walk.

Best kept secret: leave Universal Studios, walk 3 minutes into the Universal City Walk area, and eat here during Happy Hour (12-5:00 maybe) and rest your feet and get GREAT food. We spent $39 on one chicken wrap, a small Diet Coke, and a fancy non-alcoholic fruity soda concoction inside the park. At Wasabi's we spent $44.90 plus tax and tip for FIVE dishes. We got:1. veggie tempura plate off regular menu (big portion, not greasy, great variety of real veggies (not dumb bell peppers).2. greens off happy hour menu (included tomatoes, shredded carrots and delicious roasted creamy sesame dressing).3. Gyoza off happy hour menu (big portion and pretty good)4. Ca rolls off happy hour (fresh, excellent)5. Shrimp tempura roll off happy hour menu (it's called something else; sooo yummy).Service was great!!!Clean!Highly recommend given overall value for the price and proximity to universal studios.

Fantastic server who made sure to create great experience. When we missed last call she got us some miso soup and added a touch of chili oil to it. It was fantastic. Way to go above and beyond and ensure your guests have a great experience. The sushi was pricey but was all delicious. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the food, except the miso could have been hotter & a bit more flavorful. Other than that the tempura, Cali roll, & chicken-teriyaki were delicious!! Service was good too. My server was attentive, & friendly. The Ambiance was nice.

3.9/5 rating only because it's not really authentic Japanese food. But pretty appealing for the target audience of the surrounding area. Especially considering it's outside of a theme park. The inside is pretty nice and service was splendid. Ordered the garlic steak as an entree. Wouldn't recommend tbh. It's pretty basic and taste isn't as good especially for the price.Since it is considered a Japanese restaurant, of course I had to order a roll. My guest and I ordered the Flaming Star (as it was recommended per server) and I believe the T-Rex. The flaming star was recommended because they torch up the roll in front of you. I thought the drizzling of the spicy mayo and sweet soy sauce was a bit much. And the roll was sweet. To which I personally don't prefer. The T-Rex on the other hand was pretty decent. I really liked the Hokkaido scallop on top.The only item I actually REALLY enjoyed and would only ever order if I were to come back are their A5 Wagyu Dumplings. That sht was so tender and juicy to the point it felt like it melted in your mouth. Highly recommend that as starter (maybe even as entree lmao).

My friend and I went here after our day at Universal back in January, and this place really surprised me in how amazing the experience was. The customer service was the best part. Luzby was our server, and she was hands down one of the best servers we've ever had. She was very helpful when we had questions about the food and even gave us a discount along with a free beverage. She was extremely amiable and made our experience 100 times better. The food was outstanding and came out fast. If you are coming to Universal, or even just for the Citywalk, this should be a guaranteed stop in your day. Absolutely amazing place!
