Really enjoyed the ambiance of the place, great service and the food was amazing. The crispy Szechuan beef, I could eat that everyday!The Japanese curry with the vegetables was delicious and how can you not get the duck lumpias...omg still thinking about them! The date cake to finish it up, man it was little and fluffy! They have unique cocktails as well, we were a big fan of them. Parking is street parking, doing the week there's spots you can find. Not sure on the weekends.

Pretty decent food, but exorbitant prices for the quality and quantity. I expected it to be on the higher end but don't think I've ever been more surprised by the price to value ratio. My girlfriend who can hardly ever finish her meals even left hungry. Service was pretty good and efficient, but I definitely will keep going to Simpang instead when I'm after Indonesian food

I have never written a review about anything... until now. I am so disappointed that this experience has forced me to do so now. Overpriced is an understatement. I felt like I had been robbed after paying the bill. If you claim family style eating, your portions should be enough to at least feed 4 people. There were two of us and the main we ordered could barely feed one person for $28. Average tasting at best. We also ordered an appetizer, which cost $4 more than the main dish, and that is barely portioned for 1 person. That math doesn't work. I've been to Indonesia and their food isn't even close. Yes, I noticed the prices before ordering but when it says "family style eating" I take it as large portions. The finale is the 12 ounce can of Indonesian lager at $16 a pop. Are we at Dodger stadium?? Only bright spot was the customer service and great attitude of our server.

Very expensive for what it is. Flavors are pretty bland and nothing special.We got three dishes and it came out to 100 bucks. Fried rice was 26 bucks and was tiny tiny portions. A portion for ants. Not a fan.

Food was quite delicious we're going to give her an 8.5/10, service was average 7/10 but everyone has an off day, ambience was super cute but inside seating is very limited and they have outside heaters if you do sit outside.

I went here for Valentine's Day and not gonna lie a rat jumped out of one of their plants that are apart of the booths and across the entire left side of the patio where I was eating. The chashu pork also gave me the most vicious food poisoning I've ever had before in my life. It's a cute place tho and our server was very nice.

This is a trendy Indonesian restaurant located in Venice Beach. Both the indoor and outdoor ambiance are aesthetic and relaxing. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. If you can't take spicy food, please make sure you tell the server. I asked for mild for the flat noodles and it was still too spicy for me.We ordered the following:1. Crab rendang dip: this was overly sweet for me. The shrimp chips it came with were unique, and gave every bite a nice crunch. 2. Beef rendang : my partner loved it3. Rice with chicken broth: good4. Chinese wide rice noodles with fried tofu: The tofu was cooked perfectly: crispy on the outside and soft inside. The flavor of the noodles were too spicy for me.5. Lemongrass Lemonade: refreshing and not overly sweet ! All in all, I enjoyed the experience because of the nice ambiance and great service. The food was a bit too rich and flavorful for me.

Interesting food and drink flavors. Expect to wait on even a weeknight for a table- their ube drink is phenomenal! Other foods and drinks were decent We got sat way too close to the table next to us to have a comfortable dinner experience. Could hear everything they were talking about (and likely vice versa). Good vibes tho. Maybe sit at the bar if you're only 2

Literally the perfect first date spot, sexy ambiance, not too loud so can actually talk. The bar staff were so nice and welcoming great service. The drinks and food were so good like literally had such good gluten free options. Ribs fell off the bone. The bathroom is also so sexy. Just 10/10 sexy all around.

The food was incredible. We got the braised beef, fried rice (nasi goreng) and Japanese curry and loved everything. Our server was SO nice too! Great experience and will definitely be back to try some cocktails. We were sat outside and I wish it was in the main area but it was still warm and comfortable and quiet.
