So glad I discovered this cute little gem! I visited with 2 gfs for a casual GNO with small bites and wine, but this cozy, candle-lit spot would be perfect for a date night too.This place specializes in Persian country cooking and natural wines. I think this was my first time trying Persian cuisine.. and I was pleasantly surprised :). While everything we tried was delicious, the portions were on the smaller side, so it felt more like an appetizer-focused experience. - Nazkhatoun (eggplant pomegranate dip): the perfect balance of savory and sweet, paired with crispy flatbread that complemented every bite. - Shirazi salad: a refreshing mix of cucumber, tomato, and fresh herbs with a citrusy dressing. Super light and tangy! - Tahchine morgh: a comforting and flavorful rice dish with tender chicken, wrapped in a beautiful golden crust.The service was also a highlight--genuine, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

Owner was nice and friendly, and the space is cute, but the food was lackluster and way too expensive. I want this space to thrive, and I think with a few tweaks it can flourish, but I wasn't impressed based on this first visit.

Expensively expensive! Nice lighting. Tiny pours. Good for a first date if you are rolling in dough. No poets allowed!

Thanks for hosting the Mini Kabob collab! Picked up some to go to support Armen and the Mini Kabob crew. The wine bar has a ton of wines. Back when I was growing up, I wouldn't be walking around this part of Silverlake, thanks to gentrification, Virgil has changed a ton. Voodoo Vin bring right off the busy street. Thanks for hosting the collab, and thanks to Gloria who was diligently and patiently serving up all the orders outside and inside for the Mini Kabob crew! Thanks for taking care of us, #32!

There's something about the celebration of food whether I'm the one behind the kitchen, the one at the table, or both. Today I returned back to VoodooVin, a wine bar with Persian country cooking, on Virgil Ave in Los Angeles. I once came to this restaurant when Travis Hayden spearheaded the food. A few years later, the invitation of the establishment still swoons the visitor (myself) in. I bring a food. Their first time there. We order non-alcoholic drinks, the cucumber mint sharbat and immediately appreciated the refreshing normalcy of ordering such a drink in a wine bar. The drink fizzed with a right sweetness accompanied by the breath of cucumber. The pomegranate walnut stew and beef stew with red kidney beans were incredibly proportionate in the spices and salt it was hard not to keep digging in. The beef stew lent itself, to my memory, to something of a Persian-styled mole sauce with the subtle sweetness. It was all a beautiful meal. From the hello to the goodbye. I love this place!

我真的太爱这种精致的小酒馆了在网红早午餐店Sqirl对面主打自然酒环境比想象中的还要干净整洁店很小户外的座位更多从装修到摆盘都是简约风适当的服务用餐过程舒服自在服务员会简单的介绍菜品和酒单没有过多的废话菜品少但完全不糊弄味道和搭配都是经过巧妙构思的用的都是本地的当季食材菜单经常换属于碰到什么吃什么"Caesar" Beef Tartare长期供应的当家菜品烤的焦脆的欧包打底铺上一层凯撒沙拉酱重头戏是最上层的生牛肉塔塔葱末和芝士碎点缀生牛肉新鲜肉质好凯撒沙拉酱的酸味有点抢了牛肉的鲜味面包已经提前切成一口的大小吃的时候方便不少但是稍微烤过头了Coppa腌渍干燥熟成的猪肩肉生火腿瘦肉偏多整体清爽不会越嚼越腻配菜非常妙：蜜瓜和芝士被削成了极薄的片甜咸的口味太丰富了完美的下酒菜Rosé能闻到若隐若现的清新果香尝起来微酸和空气接触越久越顺口附近很多咪表停车方便客流量少

Came here for the kinkan x voodoo vin collab and wow! Exceptional food and wine with a serious complexity of flavors and dishes! Like Michelin star good! This wasn't just a good meal, it was a real display of a mastery in the kitchen. I also got some incredible wine recommendations. Like some of the most unique bottles I've ever had. Will definitely it let be back for more wine and good food!

Good wine selection. Their food selection was super limited. Had the chips with yogurt dip (5/10).Service was great. Vibe doesn't match the tik tok vibe that brought you here.

The food here is so comforting and delicious. The vibe is even better. The staff is the absolute best. Chic wine bar with Persian food, what else could you want?

everything about this place is absolutely incredible. the owner/chef was so sweet and the food was out of this world. truly felt like i was eating home cooked persian food with market fresh ingredients!the fesenjoon with tahdig was some of the best i've had and both of the ice cream dishes were delicious.
