Vicky's All Day

The crispy chicken sandwich is huge and absolutely amazingly delicious!!! It would be hard to go back and not get that same sandwich. The service was okay. It's slow. Not ideal. Ambiance was maybe a 8/10. It's cozy-ish but not a place to go to impress a date. But for me, it's all about the food. I don't have to have all the vibes! As long as the food is great, I'm happy!

I've eaten up and down West Adams. But not at Vicky's until last night. Finally crossing off one of my older bookmarks. And it was worth the wait. I'll start with parking. It's on Adams. I think that should say enough. What I do, is look for parking on the side streets. There's a school over on Sycamore that tends to have street parking if you get there early enough. I don't mind parking there and walking. And when you see the pics of all the food I had last night, you'll agree that I needed to walk some of it off.Service was great. Friendly and attentive, even when the place filled up. He was still Johnny on the spot. See pics of the feast I had last night. I'm still full as I'm putting down my thoughts of my experience. Started off with the salad. As for portion size, it's a meal in itself. I enjoyed it and figured, since I was going with a burger and of course dessert, I'd start it off healthy. Then finish it up happy. The burger was good, just a lacking a kick that tends to be my taste preference. I'll clarify, it was good and I finished it all, including the fries. However, if I were ordering it again, I'd ask if I could customize it with something spicy like Jalapenos. And the apple pie - know that it's made to order so it'll take 10-15 minutes to be ready. And it was worth the wait. With the Vanilla ice cream on top, it was the perfect way to cap dinner. Yes, I'd go back. There were other menu items that caught my eye but I was craving a burger.

It was nice and bright inside and definitely like a new American style restaurant. - Kampachi Aguachile 5/5Tasted very fresh! Loved the chips they gave on the side. [RECOMMEND]- Shakshuka 3.4/5Comes with a side of a huge naan. The sauce is very very flavorful, very spiced. Not spicy at all. The eggs were slightly overcooked, not runny at all. - Crispy Mushrooms 3.9/5These were crispy and pretty good. Tasted a little heavy. Was a good appetizer. - BBQ Chicken Pizza 1.8/5It was quite floppy and wet in the middle. Not my style of pizza. The toppings kept coming off.Street parking behind the restaurant.

We came and there was a wait but the service was fast and efficient. The brioche French toast was one of the best French toast I've ever had. The added banana was the perfect touch. The toast was thick and rich. The Shakshuka had a lot of flavor and was very satisfying. The nann bread was delicious and well made and flakey. Orange juice was fresh which was nice.Overall the food was so good.The place was cute. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the service was great. Highly recommend

We had an impromptu dinner plan. We wanna grab something fast for our Friday night. We found Vicky's all day menu very appealing. We decided to order the mushroom pizza and an order of salmon to share. When the food arrived, it smelled so delicious. When I opened the pizza box, I became hungry instantly . The aroma was intense and the pizza tasted amazing. The mushroom has a umami taste, the caramelized onions brought sweetness to the mushroom. The crispy crust had this charred taste, a complete perfect pairing with the mushroom. The salmon was very rich in flavor. The buttery garlic sauce made the salmon very flavorful. The kale and beans and tomatoes complemented the salmon. They even charred the lemon to give is an intense squeeze of citrus flavor to the entree. I'm so impressed with the food even it was delivered. I can't imagine if we eat in the restaurant, I would be even more fresh and delicious! What a fabulous restaurant!

What a cute charming "local spot" that attracts so many Angelenos. It's heartwarming to see so many different walks of life gathered around tables in pure enjoyment of good food & ambiance. It's the right balance of LA flare in a local spot. It does not feel overwhelming popularized by tourist or a new wave of "LA" residents. It feels authentically LA. THANK YOU!

So I've been here several times now at various times of the day. I prefer the lunch/dinner menu over the breakfast. I tried the breakfast sandwich and the regular breakfast plate so far but I much prefer that burger/sandwiches and their fries are hands down better than breakfast potatoes. My favorite sandwich is the roasted chicken sandwich. The bistro burger is also fantastic. Salads are good. Roasted cauliflower was also delicious, their dipping sauces were all so good!Service can be a bit slow but I think they tend to be understaffed for how busy they are. Everyone seems to be doing everything...sitting people down at tables, taking orders, running food, busing tables, & helping with ubereats pickups. But with the cozy environment & a real neighborhood vibe, it's a great place to meet up with your friends. They share a valet with mizlala on the side street but for me, I prefer self parking and I never have issues finding parking if you're ok walking a few blocks.

The portions at Vicky's is absolutely the best I've ever seen, on top of that - the food is well made and of the highest quality. We came here on a Friday morning for a quick brunch and it was the best time because after a couple hours it got busier. I ordered the Shashouka which was HUGE, the bread was the size of a pizza. We also got the breakfast sandwich which was also huge. The prices range from $15-20 however you are definitely getting the absolute bang for your buck. I had food for the afternoon because of their portions. Everything was delicious. I loved the restaurant itself, had that old school diner vibe but with a touch of elegance modernism. There was a slightly weird smell when we walked in which I can only attribute to when you clean the floors with a used mop (I used to work at a boba shop) and that was the only weird thing. I ordered a latte but honestly a bit weak for my taste (but then again I self-identify as a major coffee snob,.. but lets face it, that is not what you are here for). The food is top tier and will definitely come back again soon!

Vicky's is a great addition to this already poppin block. They have really great appetizers, super tasty entrees and pizzas, and a healthy wine selection. Everything you need for a nice lunch or a cute date. Service is friendly and attentive, though it can get a bit busy and loud here sometimes. We always get the kampachi aguachile. It's really light and magical. The fried chicken sando is epic and all that you would hope for. I also love the option for wine carafes of you're looking for something a bit more than a glass but not quite a bottle. Parking can be tricky, but there's valet right out front during peak hours. Definitely one of our regular haunts now - wish it could be Vicky's all night too!

Hands down one of my all-time favorite brunch spots. Their French toast is just ridiculous. Lol. And so is everything else!Like just about anywhere else, weekend brunch wait times can suck, but they're worth it. So far service has been pretty good. They do their best to make their rounds with so many people there. But, going during the week is really nice because it's practically empty. It's a very casual spot, so no need to dress up. But it's got cute decor and they're very clean. I love their wine selection as well!It's all street parking outside so you might have to walk a bit if the area is packed, but again, very worth it!!
