As usual the food was fantastic! I had the garlic chicken. You get half a chicken for $14 along with rice, plantains, and black beans. I had enough food left over or to bring half the chicken home. The person sizes are huge.It took about 15 minutes to get our food. But you can tell it was made to order. Not being held somewhere in a warming tray. The only thing I can say is Parking sucks. So either go really early or very late. The parking lot is minuscule.I tend to like places that are authentic. So the ambience is limited. Nothing special at all. But who cares the food is amazing. The prices are cheap and everybody serves you with a smile.

The food is always pretty good here. We usually get the number 6, which is chicken. We always take it to go.As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and helped right away. The place had plenty of inside seating, nice Latin music playing and was clean. Parking is ok.

Forget Starbucks! La Ventanita at Versailles should be your morning stop if you work or live nearby this Calle Ocho landmark. The low prices still surprise me. I took a picture of my receipt so you can get an idea. The food is also great. This last time I had ham croquettes, a meat pie, and two guava and cheese pies. I barely shared. I also had a cortadito, which is espresso, sugar, and either evaporated or whole milk frothed. Total cost including tip was $13.00.

Ordered the ropa vieja to go which was good. A decent portion size but not the best I've had. I should have tried the chicken they are known for but I was craving ropa vieja.

Everyone here was warm and welcoming. I'm visiting from Vegas for work and I happened to drive by so curiously I stopped and man! You gotta do it too! Their lechon was juicy and well seasoned. Plantains fried right, think of the perfect al dente. Flan was creamy and sweet but the vanilla came through and it was lovely. The inside is cozy and they have plenty of seating. Come with your family and have a fest, pricing is affordable and delicious portions are generous.

We were driving down La Cienega In Beverly Hills when we drove by Versailles and decided to have dinner. I haven't been here in years so it was a good change to have some Cuban food. This particular location is small with very little parking in the lot shared by other stores. Luckily we found an open meter right in front on a Saturday night. When We walked in, the staff was very friendly. We went around 6pm so it was a good number of groups in there but not too crowded yet. The Mexico vs Jamaica soccer game was on and the Latin music was playing in the background. Our waiter Jorge was very nice. He brought us our bread and water. We ordered mojitos which were better than the ones we had at the Cuban spots in Miami! I ordered the Garlic Chicken and my bf ordered the Vaca Frita (Sauteed Shredded Flank Steak). We also order the chicken and beef empanadas. Everything we ordered was delicious and very filling. The beef empanada was so good! I also loved the flavor of my garlic chicken that came with rice, beans, and plantains. The steak was also good and very flavorful. I'm glad we decided to go to Versailles, it's definitely a good choice when you're hungry and want something good, filling, and fresh!

I ordered chicken wings, Versailles Famous Garlic Chicken, and a bottle of Mojo Criollo (Garlic Sauce) because I love garlic. I ordered delivery, did not like that they do not accept special requests. I would have requested all flats for the wings, but it may not have made a difference because they were dry and I did not like the flavor. I received one flat and I don't like the drummets. I threw the wings in the trash. The Garlic Chicken with White Rice and Black Beans was delicious. I also ordered Fried Plantains for shits and giggles because I know I don't like Plantains but thought I would give them another try. Nothing has changed, I don't like them. Of course I would order again, especially the Black Beans, they are so good. Please forgive any typos, this review was typed on a mobile device.

Versailles has been a staple restaurant in my household and is one of my favorite spots for Cuban food! I don't know many restaurants that offer Cuban food like this establishment, which makes it unique/special to me. Located in LA, the parking can be pretty hectic. Their parking lot is extremely small and shared amongst other businesses in the vicinity, and during peak hours it's basically full. Sometimes you have to go to the street for parking, which can also be tricky at times. In terms of service it can definitely be a hit or miss for me. There are instances when the servers are all so friendly and attentive to us, while there are other when they ignore me and forget my food. I'm deducting a star here as I've had various experiences with their service from all the times I've visited. The restaurant gives off very cozy vibes and is warm and inviting. You can hear the kitchen staff laughing and having a good time as they prepare your delicious meal, which makes everything more friendly! For the food, I always order their chicken and beef empanadas to start off, followed by their famous garlic chicken. Their empanadas always hit the spot, as the edges are perfectly crispy while the filling is a perfect harmony of savory and juicy. One empanada per person is more than enough as an appetizer, but my family and I always order a couple and share between us! Their famous garlic chicken is what always gets my family to come back. It's served with fresh onions, black beans, and white rice topped with their famous lemon garlic sauce. The roasted chicken is never too dry/tough, and it really soaks in all of the juices of their garlic sauce. The onions cuts into the heaviness of the meal and the rice definitely balances it all out with a blank slate in the background. It's one of my favorite meals, and it's always a treat to come back! Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I'm in LA, and I hope you take the time to check it out too!
