Uzumaki

Solid spot for sushi, I'd recommend coming a little earlier on the weekends cuz it gets busy. Uzumaki set: The nigiri was delicious but the cut rolls were a little tasteless. I'd recommend getting the crunchy shrimp rolls instead of the spicy tuna. Service was very attentive, a little too attentive maybe haha. The second you're done with a plate, they snatch it right up so make sure not to leave any crumbs or pieces left to savor. They don't seem to have a set waiter for your table and everyone is your server, but they definitely make sure you have everything you need. Small restaurant but still nice to bring for a date or just for a casual outing. I believe they have directions to parking on their website but street parking wasn't an issue for us.

Neat little hidden family run spot!Very comparable with other sushi places, the sushi quality was pretty good for its money. A little on the slightly pricier side, but gave a good variety of items for someone who perhaps is newer to eating sushi.Plenty of street parking and free parking behind the restaurant.

Our new favorite family sushi restaurant. Check their website to see where the free parking garage is in the back. They have gluten free soy sauce and can accommodate gluten free / celiac dining. They have kid friendly chopsticks. Great fish. Great service. Highly recommend!

Parking is not an issue at this casual and bright affordable sushi spot. Staff is very attentive and nice. The food is solid with good portions to their fresh and clean food. Many of their cut rolls like the spicy tuna and spicy albacore are served as a avocado roll topped with a generous portion of fish. I do wish they could make baked salmon rolls given they have other baked rolls/fish. If this place was closer to me I would go frequently.

Ordered the uzumaki plus set. Very good value to get to try a wide variety of fish for the price, especially in the LA area. Fish quality was top notch. I did feel they put a tad too much wasabi on the nigiri, but I still enjoyed all of it wish I ordered more. Definitely try the lychee sorbet it was really good and actually a bit creamy which I wasn't expecting. Service was attentive. Restaurant is clean and minimal.

A clean small restaurant, minimalist style. No Sushi bar, only tables. Servers were attentive and well staffed on a weekday night. I liked Eel, Snow Trout, Kinme, Sea Bream, and other white fish. I didn't care for Toro so much as it was a little watery. I think their sushi rice has a little too much vinegar, and it was overpowering. You would be able to enjoy the taste of fish more if it had less vinegar.

Great quality fish & excellent service! Small portions but the quality of the fish makes up for it. Ordered the rainbow roll, salmon nigiri, and crab roll (rainbow roll in the pic). Casual atmosphere where you can dress up or down.

Cute corner sushi place in Culver with plenty of street parking. Came with a party of 3 on a Saturday night and we got seated immediately. I noticed they seem very diligent in keeping the place tidy and also appreciated that they cover all utensils in a slip. We ordered the following:Crispy rice (3/5) nothing special and not sure if I'd get again Miso soup (4/5) tasted like your standard miso soup but wish it was hotterFish Karaage (5/5) crispy and so soft on the inside. Best Karaage I've had and I've also never had fish Karaage so was a nice change.Salmon nigiri (5/5) pieces were big and melted in your mouth. Seared salmon (5/5) very flavorful and you can taste the sear.King crab hand roll and salmon skin hand roll (5/5) I would get the crab again and they definitely stuff the hand rolls so it's worth it!The waitress was so friendly and actually surprised us with free matcha ice cream afterwards which was lovely. Will definitely come back!

Absolutely love this place!Came here with a friend for dinner on a Friday night. There's ample parking on the streets so we had no issue finding or getting to the location. When we walked in, we were greeted by the staff who were very pleasant. We had no issues getting a seat for two. I would described the restaurant as having an intimate chill vibe. We were sat where you could see the food preparation which I throughly enjoyed. We ordered two different rolls. Both were delicious and tasted really fresh. We also ordered the dessert which was so good and I would highly recommend. I will definitely be back here!
