My spouse wanted coffee and loved it. I don't drink coffee so I had the banana cream pie and it was the best banana cream pie I've ever had. Super fresh and not too sweet. Went back to grab some loose-leaf tea and coffee to take home. Will most definitely stop by next time I'm in LA.

I've been to all of Urth Caffé's SoCal locations, and I have never been disappointed. The consistency and quality of both the food and service are unmatched--no matter which location you choose, you can always count on a great experience. The fresh-pressed juice and Spanish latte are my favorites, and the paninis and pizzas are always a solid choice. Even when it gets busy, the service remains top-notch--friendly, efficient, and welcoming. If you're looking for a go-to spot with delicious food, great drinks, and a warm atmosphere, Urth Caffé is it! Highly recommend this amazing LA landmark.

If I could give it a 3.5 I would. The place is beautiful and service so great. Food was expensive for what it was missing a wow factor. Coffee is v delicious and would come back for just that.Song to listen to while eating: stayinit - Fred again...

What We Ordered:-Spanish Latté $7.75-Caffé Pistacchio $7.95-Oatmeal-Raisin CookieUrth Caffé is one of the places to be seen at. You go there dressed to the nines. Take some pics of your coffee or a selfie with a coffee cup. You do it for the likes on the gram! With that said, the coffee was good but a bit on the pricy side, tho! The wife was impulsive and bought an Oatmeal cookie after we ordered our coffee, which I assumed was for our son, but it was for her. LOL! I was recommended the Spanish Latte. I was told it was a popular pick, which was the right choice. The wife read online about the Pistachio Coffee and wanted to try that one. I tried hers, and it was pretty good. We both liked our respective coffees the best! This location has gorgeous Art Deco architecture! It was lovely sitting outside next to the fire. It was hot and comfortable. I would enjoy staying there longer if we weren't with our son. Maybe the wife and I can go there sometime.

2013 before gentrification, Urth caffe was in the very center of the art's district, across the street and around the neighborhood you'd find local up and coming artists in theirs studios, creating their latest masterpieces. And I would walk into Urth caffe to get an earl grey milk tea blended with boba and either a margarita pizza or a pumpkin pie - whatever was in season. In 2024, the area around Urth caffe has changed significantly. You'll no longer find the artists in their studios. While echoes of their art still remains, the area surrounding it seems quieter than before. But nonetheless, the charm of Ruth caffe is the same as it was that day in 2013. It was packed with people chatting in the many tables in and out of the restaurant. My friend and I stopped here for drinks and desert. I went with the green rose matcha because I had the day off tomorrow and why not have more caffeine. It was wonderful. It had a nice balance of matcha and rose, both complimenting each other and I would say it's better than Maru. The fruit tart was fresh, packed with lots of berries and lemon glaze. It was delicious. My friend also went with the fruit tart and the Thai red tea latte. She loved it. I was able to get a taste and it reminded me of Thai tea with a hit of rooibos - I can't describe but it works. We spent our time inside chatting and enjoying our drinks and desert that we didn't notice 2 hours go by and the place was closing. I really missed urth and I'd happily return to try more deserts and drinks.

My son, some friends, and I visited the Balloon Museum in downtown Los Angeles. After a few hours of fun, we were ready to grab something to eat. This restaurant was just a few minutes drive from the museum, so we decided to stop here.We waited in line for about 7 to 10 minutes, which wasn't too bad considering how busy the place was. The food was delicious! I ordered the avocado toast, and my son had the mac & cheese. We also tried the fresh apple juice, which was terrific. Their hot honey vanilla latte is excellent! The service was a 10 out of 10. The restaurant was bustling, but you could tell that all the workers were working incredibly hard to provide the best food and service. Also, I must emphasize that my son's mac and cheese was good!

Stopped but today for coffee and a pastry, on my way to jury duty in downtown. Got there fairly early, so I was able to get a good parking spot, but parking is complicated and most are pay for parking lots. I was really hoping they had lavender lattes, but they didn't. I ended up ordering the Spanish latte. I'm not sure what made it "Spanish" , I did request oat milk, but didn't taste anything special about it. It was good, but not anything memorable. I also ordered the pistachio chocolate croissant. Now that was amazing! Flaky, buttery, and filled with pistachio filing. Sooo good!! So worth the calories and the price.

Went with a friend and got the egg panini (~$16 or 17) and the panini prosciutto (~$13) to share. Also got a matcha latte that was very creamy and delicious. Both paninis were pretty good but probably preferred the prosciutto one. We were super lucky with street parking and got a spot right in front of urth. Line wasn't too bad, and was able to snag a corner table for 2. Overall, didn't have high expectations because I thought it would be an expensive, over hyped brunch place but it was not bad. Would go again for a brunch date.

This evening, I walked 20 minutes to Urth Caffe to order dinner to go. I know at certain times, the line is long. I arrived before the rush and put in my order. Then I waited about 15 minutes to get it.I checked the contents in the bag. Everything looked good on the surface...Then I walked 20 minutes to get home. I opened the little box to pull out a sprouts sandwich? But I didn't order that... Seriously? And I don't want to eat a sprouts sandwich. So, I walked 20 minutes back to Urth Caffe. By this time, there's a long line, of course. So I waited 15 minutes in line to tell the lady who took my order that I didn't get my cilantro chicken sandwich. We asked for the receipt, and I showed her. Then she said they'll make it right away. Within a couple of minutes, she brought my sandwich. I opened the box to check, and there it was.I walked 20 minutes back home. Of course, my tomato soup got cold by now. Did I waste almost 2 hours of my day over a cilantro chicken sandwich? Yes. This isn't the first time my order has been wrong. I should have learned. Don't just take a peek. Open every little box inside... Not just open, but pull apart the sandwich to see what's stuffed between the bread.Lesson learned.

Such a good place to have brunch with friends! Urth is an inside- outside restaurant where you place your order, get a number, & find yourself a table. When it's busy me and my friends split up- half go order while the other find a place to sit, since sometimes seating can be hard to find.I like Urth a lot!! I've been coming since I was in highschool and always thought their desserts and drinks were super yummy! The only thing is the wait for food occasionally can be long and sometimes they can forget a few items if not reminded when they check in on your table and number. They have heaters at night and play music all day. I think Urth is like that one friend; always reliable, sometimes on a diet, but always down for good dessert and boba!
