Urban Skillet

Food was great! Location was perfect! It's on the smaller side but we went very late. Plenty of space. So nice that it's open till 1 on Saturdays. I got the BBQ corn dog. Was great! Husband got the one of the hot dogs. He enjoyed it! We shared brisket fries. very good!!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a casual yet trendy atmosphere that perfectly matches its beachside location. The menu is diverse, but everything revolves around their expertly crafted burgers, loaded fries, and shakes. Their fries are addictive, with just the right balance of spices and richness! What truly sets Urban Skillet apart is its accommodating and friendly staff. They were attentive and happy to explain the menu and recommend favorites. and don't skip dessert! The Oreo Milkshake was thick, creamy, and generously topped with crushed cookies. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but the quality of the food is worth the effort. If you're in Santa Monica and craving a hearty, flavorful meal, Urban Skillet is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I will travel for a good burger. I just love them! They're also a good way to gauge a business; if they can make a good burger then I can trust other dishes that they serve. I also don't think I've ever had a halal burger, which this spot serves all halal meat options.I stopped by today to check out their burger. They actually have quite a few options. I love breakfast burgers (anything with an egg involved) and I ordered their Eggcelent Morning burger. It comes with two smashed patties, bacon, and American cheese all between brioche buns. This burger was SO good! The meat was juicy and flavorful, the bacon was cut thick, and the brioche buns just tie in the whole thing together. I was impressed by their burger that I had to order more. I tried the truffle burger, brisket fries, spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, and brisket melt. All excellent options! They also have fresh brewed iced teas and milkshakes. I want something sweet, so I ordered the urban honey shake. So good!

There is nothing like finding a great burger spot. This was our first time visiting Urban Skillet and it was really good. I ordered the Oh So Hot Burger and it was great and tasty. We also ordered the tots which were pretty good as well. This was a really nice and cozy place that we found. Parking is across the street which was nice in the lot. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting and it was great to see. We will definitely return to get another great meal.

Was so pleasantly surprised to find such a BUN-derful burger spot in Santa Monica, and I love how all of their protein choices are certified to be halal. I tried the OG dog, oh-so-hot burger and Nashville chicken sandwich, and all of them were juicy and cooked well without being overly salty or fatty. I would recommend pairing your order with their fries (which are fried to perfection) and the root beer float, which had a very nostalgic homemade touch to it. Service was really nice and friendly, and even personally brought us our orders and cleaned up the table after we finished. There's plenty of seating inside and outside and is good for larger parties, and there's lots of street parking in the area.

First time trying Urban Skillet. I ordered the Original Skillet burger. I ordered through Grub Hub and it arrived quickly. It was a very good burger. The meat was tender and the bun was great. Overall I really enjoyed this burger and would definitely order again!

My first time here and the staff was awesome. I love a place when they fix my burger just the way I like it. The burger was great. Nice and quiet to eat and watch a little TV The staff should be commended on suchservice. The place was so clean.

Don't judge a book by its cover as the old saying goes because these burgers are heavy and delicious! They have some good choices here too. Don't sleep on their wings either, they're pretty fat too. There's no skimming here and that's a good thing too. I can say that I got my money's worth here.

I didn't sit down & eat at the restaurant, so I can't speak on the dine-in experience, but I did order take out. The woman on the phone who took my order ended up taking off the Mac and cheese (not sure why). When we called the restaurant after we got home with our order to find out our Mac n cheese was missing, the server informed us that she had told them that we didn't want it anymore & scratched it off her order she placed. The server was confused also why she did this & didn't charge us when we paid. Which was nice they caught her mistake before we got home & found out ourselves. By the time we called the restaurant, apparently she had gone home. Was a bit upset because I did want the Mac n cheese, but i understand mistakes happen.Now for the food! Brisket Quesadilla 9/10: even though it was take out, it was still pretty good! Great flavor & not too dry Loaded Tots 9/10: wish there were more! I bet they taste even better when they are fresh from cooking Brisket burger 9/10: again, great job on the brisket & even for take out, it still tasted great! The cooks really did a great job on the brisket I give 3 stars because of the take out experience & the mishap with the woman on the phone. I truly believe customer service creates the ambiance of the dine in/ take out experience. When we picked up the food there were about 2 small parties eating on a Saturday night at 8pm (so it was not busy or else I would take that into account for a mistake in the order). Maybe the woman was new who took our order or maybe it was an off day. All in all, great food!

They have many options including a vegan burger. We got buffalo chicken loaded fries, the southern bbq burger and the Z hot dog. The fries were perfect and loaded properly - they were our favorite. The burger was solid, next time I'd get more bbq sauce added. The Z dog bun held throughout even with everything loaded on top and was fantastic. Everything was delicious, we were both happy! The service was quick and the man helping us with nice and helpful. We would definitely come back.
