The food was fresh and I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing for an authentic Italian cuisine experience. I gave the atmosphere a 4 because it was so dark I had to use my cell phone flashlight to read the menu. Everything else was excellent!

Celebrated a birthday here the other day and it was a fantastic time! We arrived with a party of 4 including myself and we ordered the tasting menus. We ordered The Cheese and Truffle tasting menu which feeds 2, and it was a phenomenal experience! Honestly I wish more restaurants did this! It started with an appetizer then moved into 3 noodle dishes, and finally a dessert! Oh my gosh!! It was fantastic!! I will be going back! The service was fantastic as well! It was fast, they were aware and very informative! The ambiance was great however, it was hard to see as a beginner because we needed to use our phone lights to see but I really enjoyed the space. Definitely a date night spot as well!

A good experience, and I would return. Some things could be improved, but it was still tasty. We shared the yellowtail app and the beef tartare. I really wish the tartare came with any kind of component to scoop the tartare (cracker, bread, anything). The lasagna was good, I wouldn't go for it again though just because I like a red sauce more traditional version. The cacio e Pepe is very good. The tiramisu needs to be reworked. The shot of just straight espresso at the bottom of the jar was an overly strong way to end the dessert and ruined the last bite, and needs more of the lady fingers. It was basically a jar of cream, but at least the cream was tasty.

Uovo never fails to disappoint and am so glad I was able to visit their Santa Monica location for lunch recently. We got the regional tasting menu to share between 2. The battuta de carne and ragu are the my favorites from the tasting and the menu as a whole. The ragu here is probably my favorite pasta dish in all of LA. Do not skip the tiramisu here! I always refer to it as the gold standard whenever I have tiramisu elsewhere. Truly unrivaled and the chocolate ganache on top is really something special. The service here is excellent and is something that is consistent across locations. Great spot for a work lunch or dinner with friends! I walked here but there is a parking garage across the street.

Wow. My friends and I were looking for a post work meet in the middle spot, and this location was convenient. A public parking lot is right across the street with the first 90 min free!The lighting is dim and romantic. It's fun to be able to see the chefs in the kitchen. The service is incredible from the friendly host to the attentive waiter who had all the best recs!I went with the truffle pasta which was absolutely divine. It's simple but the ingredients speak for themselves - creamy truffle sauce and you can truly taste the difference with the noodles. They had several other vegetarian options as well - it was a tough choice because the artichoke pasta also sounded delicious.Staying true to the authentic Italian experience, it's a no tipping place (a percentage is added on top) which I thought was really nice - no math at the end of dinner makes me a happy lady!I look forward to coming back for a date night or for a night out with the girls.

Pasta in its purest form! This place is a no frills no nonsense place that shies away from preserved foods in order to focus on simple ingredients done right.I had the Tagliatelle in truffle sauce which was exquisite. The truffle flavor really hits hard and the pasta soaked up the flavor perfectly. The texture of the pasta was also perfect. I can have this dish many more times! I also like that the portion size is just right. Definitely check this place out!

Arrived around 5:45 and waited a good 30-45mins to be seated. There was seating at the counter but we preferred a table. We ordered a bunch of different pastas:Ragu: 5/5 super tasty and surpringly it was not a red saucy pasta. See attached photo. It was meat piled on top of a bed of pasta. Ravioli: 5/5 my favorite. Soooo delicious! Wonderfully soft pillows of goodness.Carbonara: 4/5 goodCacio e pepe: 4/5 good Amatriciano: 3/5 Humm tasted like normal spaghetti with sauce.Brodo: 3/5 our friends and hubby enjoyed this soupy pasta dish but it was just ok for me. Broccolini: goodFunghi: goodTiramisu: goodPanna cotta: good with interesting grape flavor syrup. Good service. If I come back I would get the ravioli again and ragu again. Love fresh pasta shipped overnight from Italy!

The food here delivers. I personally like the pastas with marinara or the tortellini with cheese sauce the best. The service is fine, our waitress is nice. The atmosphere is dark and good for dates or a night out with friends. They include 16% tip on the bill.

Took my daughter here for a weekday lunch..it was so good that even my 7 year-old complemented the staff! She got a butter pasta and I had the tagliatelle with artichokes. Al dente pasta that is complemented--not overpowered-----by the sauce. Will go back again next time!

Came here for a quick bite before an event. Cute place. Very intimate with dim lights, plenty of bar seating as well as tables.Had the Homemade pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. Can't remember entree name it it had Pepe in it. Good service and gratuity is already included in bill. Makes it super easy to check out.
