Uncle Paulie's Deli

Stopped by Uncle Pauline's randomly for a quick lunch today cuz they looked like a cool trendy sammie shop.I had the Italian. It was good with a good portion of meat and proportions of veggies. And the pepperoni was not overpowering the turkey and ham, which is a pet peeve of mine.The Zapp's New Orleans Kettle Style Voodoo Hea chips were good. Not much heat, which is ok. But a little salty for my taste. But I recommend them.I drank Uncle Paulie's Blood Orange Lemonade. I was hoping it was a little sweeter than it was, but was still good and refreshing for a sunny afternoon.The inside was mom and pop trendy hipster deli style, IMO, and give a homie vibe. Dig their selection of drinks and salads. Nothing commercial!I recommend this place Uncle Paulie's. I will be back! Thanks guys!

First time at Uncle' Paulie's after a friend highly recommended the place. The space is well decorated, clean, and inviting! Service was super friendly and helpful with assisting us with the menu. Food wise, they have huge selection and majority of their items are served all day! We ended up ordering the Uncle, which is one of the most popular sandwiches. Portion size was enough for two people, and definitely plenty for one person. Sandwich itself was good, but not life changing. Probably would try a different sandwich next time. Either way, give them a try! :-)

There's just some days nothing tastes better than a good sandwich and this place delivers. The shop is nice clean, nicely decorated with lots of fun things and great seating. The service is friendly and helpful. But again it's all the sandwiches. Great fresh bread, yummy meats. Epic

This place has gone way downhill. It used to be great and consistent, They now completely just leave out ingredients for a $21 sandwich and then place the blame on that they are busy and their staff is new. If the staff is new, then teach them how to include the ingredients listed in the sandwich. If you're busy fine, I had no problem waiting for them to just get it right and not make me feel like I'm the one in the wrong when they got the order incorrect twice in a row. Never going back here. Complete waste of money & crappy service

I gotta bump this review up a star. After visiting Uncle Paulie's several more times, I continue to get more impressed and more inspired to come back to try more items on the menu. And yes, the menu is pretty extensive so check out the menu before coming in or check out the sandwiches I have tried.Bacon Egg and Cheese: These are a dressed up version of the East Coast cousins you get at bodegas (oh i wish we had them here.) For $12, you get smoked bacon, cheese and the eggs that are super fluffy in a poppy seed bun. I add a hash brown to it because why the heck not? Super filling and I am pretty much done for the rest of the day after eating this. 8/10Sausage, Egg and Cheese: the sausage patty is solid and tasty. I have had it with a fried egg instead of the scrambled and i must admit, i like the fluffy scrambled egg over the runny yolk. 7.5/10Uncle Ronny: That English muffin is hefty and solid and with the hash brown, you are basically have a full breakfast plate on the go. 8/10Gina: mortadella, pistachio spread onion and arugula. Co-worker asked for something that was light and refreshing and was recommended this. It was lacking something and was more bread ratio to the sandwich filling. 5/10The Franny: This is pretty unique. Fried eggplant, cheese and broccoli rabe. never had broccoli rabe and it is a cruciferous leafy veggie that is a tinge bitter. I feel healthy eating it and would get this if i am wanting a salad but not want a salad, if you feel me. 7.5/10The Bodega and The Carly: 8/10Italian, Cousin Bobby, Linda: 9/10Chicken parm and Eggplant parm: 9/10Meatball parm: 10/10!! Omg, i crave this one from time to time.Love this spot and hope to try more things on the menu.

Small deli with delicious food. Not busy on a weekday lunch time. Small amount of tables, which isn't a problem if it isn't busy. Paying $15-$18 for a sandwich is a good deal on 3rd street. The drink was an additional $5-$6 which is a little pricier. About $24 total for both. Definitely recommend and would like to try other sandwiches as well!

Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious! They came well prepared. Wish they were just a little bit bigger and size, but they are authentic deli sandwiches. If you're looking for a good old-fashioned sandwich, this is the place to go.

The vegetarian artichoke caprese is one of my favorite sandwiches in all of LA. Highly recommend!

You can never go wrong with a sandwich from Uncle Paulie's! The staff is also friendly and accommodating
