4.5 stars - let's start with the food since it would've been a solid 5 if based on this alone. - Jolloff Platter ($28) with short rib added ($20) + jerk sauce ($1.50). We loved every last bite, perfection! Since the platter alone is basically rice, beans and plantains, my suggestion is to add a protein and have this as a main course, or share this and get additional small plates. $50 for a dish is a bit steep considering this is more of a neighborhood casual spot, but the food was worth it.- Honey chicken bites: served with a light aioli sauce and pickles, this was also delish with a sinfully fried/gooey crunch. I'm glad this was a small plate because it's very heavy.- Young fashioned: no modifications allowed on their cocktails because they're all from a premade batch, which is a bit of a bummer for $17. This was too sweet for me and I would've rather paid more for a handcrafted drink.- Wine: there's no actual list, they just charge a standard $13/glass and give you whatever they have on hand. This was a small pour but fine. - Ambiance: casual but cozy. Menu is available by phone only.- Service: friendly and unpretentiousDespite the drinks being a letdown, this would've been a solid 5 if the place didn't smell like a pack of Marlboro Reds. I actually asked our server if someone was smoking inside and she said it's the cigar lounge next door. The stench was really strong and unfortunately took away from the amazing flavors of the food (not to mention we smelled like an ashtray after leaving). Since the cigar lounge is only open in the evenings, I'd come back here for brunch since that menu looks great.

The food is good if you ever make it inside. what's not advertised is on Sundays they close at 3 but the kitchen closes at 2:15p!... The staff purposely ignores you standing to be seated to avoid taking to-go orders since they cannot seat you. So if you arrive at 2p don't bother waiting because you will be told at 2:45p the kitchen is closed. Just make your hours 11a-2p on Sundays. Be transparent and communicate to people waiting to be seated and post your true hours of actually being seated / to go orders.

Incredible gem on the border of Inglewood that will absolutely make your soul sing.Nita was amazing with her vibe and her suggestions all hit! It's super cozy and everyone is very attentive and friendly.Drinks aren't very strong (so grab a Red Stripe) but they are tasty if thats more your vibe. The food is through the roof though. I can wait to go through this whole menu more than 3 times 10/10 almost don't want to recommend so I can keep it to myself

Ordered the braised short rib jollof and garlic noodles with garlic chili chicken. The food was flavorful, but the price I felt was too expensive for the amount of food given. The lemonade was really tasty, sweet and refreshing. The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy with nice ambient lighting, decor, and really good music. Service was attentive and quick. Overall, the food is tasty, it's just the price that lowered the stars on this review for me.

Delighted that Two Hommes made the LA Times list of Top 50 restaurants, because it put it on our radar. I was blown away at the flavors. Loved the Margarita, the Oyster Mushrooms, and the Garlic Noodles with Branzino. A little pricey, but absolutely worth it for amazing food you just can't get anywhere else, quality ingredients, fabulous service staff, and supporting a local small business.

Simply delicious - that is all I can say about the food here! An amazing local restaurant that also happens to be on the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants.Nita was great and helped us make our dinner selection that included the House Salad, Soup du Jour - that was fantastic with cauliflower, coconut, and curry, and the Root Beer Short Ribs - yummy! There is street parking and a shared lot next to the restaurant. The hostess and all staff were super friendly - will definitely be back.

What a cute place! We came here on Friday for dinner with a friend. She had been here before but it was mine and my husband's first time here. Everything that we ordered was great: the short rib, the hummus, the za'atar zucchini and the jollof platter. Our group actually shared everything and the food is pretty sharable, which was nice. The winner of the night though was the short rib that came with the whipped yam that I was literally almost about to fight the rest of my group over because it was so good. Because it was Friday evening, it was pretty busy but our server was so nice and acknowledged that it was pretty busy but we didn't feel like we were being ignored. Will definitely come back again (even if it's just to get those short ribs for myself!)

Just WOW.This place is only a couple of miles from the intuit dome and Sofi stadium and a bunch of other venues. Walks in on a whim because of the Review. Short wait at 6pm.It's not a big large space and they take reservations.. they play old-school R&B and hip-hop. Vibe check. The food honestly was so tasty I was blown away. We got the rice plate with their shrimp, fried catfish over garlic noodles, and their chicken appetizer was phenomenal.I would love to come back here even just to try different dishes. Excellent food excellent presentation thank you for delivering something so unique. It is incredibly tasty.Excellent service too!

Attentive and super friendly service!Great atmosphere!Delicious and amazing food!Wow! My friend and I couldn't believe what a great experience it was to eat here. We stumbled on this restaurant by luck and we couldn't have been happier eating here. This place is amazing! We ordered the hommes lemonade (delish), mango margaritas (my friend loved this), honey berbere chicken bites (this is amazing), suya shrooms and greens (so yummy), jollof platter with added chile garlic chicken (loved the juicy chicken with the green sauce on top), garlic noodles with added lemon garlic salmon (the fish is so fresh and tasty), and A tasty burger. They also have the tastiest sauces - garlic sauce for the shrooms and beans, side of sauce for the chicken bites, and cilantro sauce for the jollaf. Wow! Can't get it out of my head! I need to go back to try the other appetizers and meals...When we were leaving, they told us about their Sunday breakfast which we are super excited to try very soon~ Con: parking I street parked my car on a busy street in front of the restaurant. When we asked about parking, the restaurant told us to park on the Ralphs market parking lot and to park the car behind the restaurant building. I didn't want to risk it since there are numerous tow signs that says the parking lot is for Ralphs market.

Excellent! The service was impeccable. The vibe is very very chill and the food is just delicious. I had the herb lamb chops, Za'tar Zucchini!, Jollof rice and sweet potato churro with Vanilla bean ice creme! Do yourself a favor and get over to Inglewood and try Two Hommes! It will be a new favorite!
