Tun Lahmajo

Charming and quaint little place with nature and wood inspired design with clay bowls and cups - really sets the old country and rustic vibe serving comfort international food. I ordered the lentil soup and lamajun and tan (homemade yogurt drink). The lamajun was excellent. It had a distinct taste. I believe they added cumin to the meat. And it's cooked in a wood fire oven. Lentil soup was also great. But I suggest a tad more salt, maybe adding some celery and carrots with some dried mint to add more flavor. Will tell my parents to try this place with their friends.

Absolutely LOVED this place! I felt like I was having delicious Lahmajo in Yerevan. The entire place, music, art, service made me feel like I was back in Armenia. Lahmajo is huge and delicious although a bit light on the meat (because it would be too much to cover that huge thing in meat!).Krjik and lentil soups were delicious. And Summer (Amarayin) Salad was just like what you enjoy in Armenia - simple and delicious. Would absolutely come back here.

If you know, you know...I have been a big fan of Tun Lahmano for years, and have been traveling to Armenia mainly to just eat their lahmano. And I did it every day. Now they have opened up a location in Burbank, and i cant be more happy. They have kept the same recipe, and to me it tastes the same or even better. It's just on point, everything is on point. The crust, the cheese, the meat, the ground onions, garlic and everything is the way I would call a perfection. If you are looking for a lahmano that will amaze you, that will melt in your mouth, will take you to your childwood, recalling some episodes of it, and will make you a better yourself, this is the spot. Come check it out.

Great ambiance and customer service. Food is delicious as well. Great spot to have lunch or dinner. They are open from 10 to 10 On this cold day the spas hit the spot. Great lunch with my mom. Sometimes we need a break too from cooking.

Their bread is wonderful!! So excited I got to try this place, the vibe here brings me back to Armenia. It's all in the details here, and they don't go unnoticed.The food was great, the thin bread on the lahmajun was amazing! I've never had lahmajun like that and it was delicious. The meat mix on the lahmajun was not what I'm accustomed to as far as seasoning, it was great, but definitely not my favorite, however the bread really makes up for it. For the first time I actually preferred the lahmajun with cheese. They are so thin that it will get cold if you don't eat it right away. Their ajarski is delicious! Love the bread and the cheese, I just wish they cooked it a little bit longer because the dough was not fully cooked through. I would definitely order again. Service was very nice and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Service: 1 star..sat outside & waited 15 minutes and finally we got fed up & summoned someone to help us. Food came with no plates, we asked for it and never got it. We ordered 2 lahmajo's waited 20 minutes to only get 1 of the order that was cold..we sent it back just to get the same cold item back...it wasn't reheated. We waited another 20+ minutes to finally get the 2nd lahmajo (and that was AFTER) we asked the waiter for the rest of our order. Food: 3 stars. Lacked flavor. Ordered extra protein and got the same thin smear of meat. 3 Stars for a nice crispy bread but almost impossible to eat. Ambiance: 4 stars. Would recommend music & more experienced customer oriented wait staff

If not for their inviting ambiance-- string lights and very open space, I don't think we would really notice it.We ordered Lahmajo and Lahmajo with cheese, big portion per order. The bread was so soft. We devoured them. I hope they would put descriptions or photos on their menu for someone like us who isn't familiar with the cuisine. The staff was very responsive with our questions.

First time having Armenian food and our server were very patient in explaining the food. The lahmajo was tasty. Is like a very thin pizza with meat and cheese. The lentil soup was ok, a little bland but I still finished it. The egg bread bowl was also good, a little salty. The Armenian espresso was dark and robust. It's an inviting place.

I'm not a lahmajune connoisseur but I much prefer the lahmajunes from some armenian bakeries on glenoaks. The meat on this one tasted like a koobideh and was a bit soggy to my liking. It was OK but legit, what do I know ... it's just a personal preference. A little pricey for my take but the inside was super cute, I love the decoration. I hope they do well and from the looks of it they do! Good service.
