I had fun with the boys here at Tu Madre with drinks and savory bowls! Most of us at the table ordered different bowls. On the back of their menu, there is an option of 15+ bowls to order. I got the Crispy Shrimp and thought it was okay; it was very pricey at $20 for not that much shrimp. It just wasn't for me, but maybe I ordered the wrong dish from the menu based on the pictures. The vibes here were great, and they played good house music. It's a very modern and vibey Mexican restaurant. I didn't drink myself, but I'm sure they were good based on my friend's drinks. Service was stellar, though; my friend is very picky, so they accommodated him well. Oh, Cody!

Food and service was delicious! I had the mushroom taco, cauliflower taco, and squash flower taco. Mariah was my server and she was so kind and attentive! She was very patient with us as we enjoyed our food and offered suggestions of menu items.the place itself is super cute. Will come back again!

Wifey and my sister-in-law found this place driving back home and stopped in. They called me immediately when they were seated, explaining to me the cool vibe this place was giving off!! My daughter's family was there giving us a total of 10 people at our table.The service was excellent. They were super fast and very attentive when drinks were low they were replaced with new ones. I mean, you couldn't ask for more for customer service. That's for sure...We ordered burritos, tacos, nachos, bowls oh and endless chips and salsa.Everything came out timed perfectly, and let's say everybody ate everything.Overall, it was a great experience for the enire family.Definitely a mixed opprotunity for foods so if your Vegan there are plenty of options.Parking in the back is limited so be prepared to locate street parking just in case the parking lot is full.

Great happy hour, good vibes. Huge variety of food and fun drink options. If you get the margarita flight, it comes with a sparkler lol. I'm a huge fan of their carne asada nachos and buffalo cauliflower. Although I'd Steer clear of their potato taquitos (pure cheese)- it was super decadent. Also, their only dessert option is red velvet churros. The jury is out on these... it was light fluffy and sweet but not sure I like it better than the traditional option. They have a vast array of tacos. I'd like to come back and sample more of their options. I did try the crispy shrimp and enjoyed it.

It was my first time visiting Tu Madre, great location close to my work. This location is a craftsman home turned into a quaint restaurant, delightfully decorated with colorful wallpaper and art. Pink neon signs around every corner and a courtyard of tables surrounded by adorable outdoor decor. I enjoyed a delicious mezcal drink called "deeply rooted issues" and the KBBQ burrito. SUPER YUMMY! The menu is extensive and service was super thoughtful and attentive. I'm excited to return for more after work dinners and drinks. Meter parking or residential parking if you're lucky.

I've been to the WeHo location and I feel the "vibes" are quite different. This location felt more relaxed.Our meal was drowned out by some guys that had finished eating a long time ago but were talking extremely loud about their movies and filming equipment, but I digress.Food was yummy! Drinks were great. Love the selection of food and we also were unexpectedly there during HH so that was awesome.Server was nice but think she was the only one in the spot so we had to wait here and there.

Best and most affordable happy hour in Los Feliz!! Meat tacos $1.50 and plant based tacos $2.50! Super delicious and unique to the palate.. you can do a mule with any choice of liquor (Kentucky mule, anyone??), margarita or wine for $10! The cauliflower and the elote corn are incredible. The potato taquitos yummy and huuuuuge! Love love and the service fantastic as always!
