Hello Feliz Hour!Where can you get $1.50 tacos? Here! Happy hour is back! Make sure to try the guac and chips, and oMg, that brisket taco is definitely a must-try. Also, the ambiance is fantastic. Love the tropical paradise decor, and loved seeing so many female friends together for Feliz Hour! Yaaaaassss! #girlpower

I'll be honest, I was mostly drawn to this place because of the ambiance. The building is cool and the bar in the center is a nice set-up. But I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It's very heavily fusion so keep your expectations to trying some very new things.Guacamole - I'd skip it. It's just mashed avocado; the citrus and salt flavors needed to make guacamole more exciting are on the chips only. I had to mix it with the salsa provided to give it some life.Chicken Al pastor - also skippable. I'd go to a real Mexican place for it. They did provide a generous portion of meat, but the flavor was lacking.Chicken banh mi - you can't taste the kale so order it if that's what's holding you back. The sauce carries this taco because the chicken is a little fatty, but the pickled vegetables keep it tasting refreshing.Crispy shrimp taco - my favorite taco in that the shrimp was PERFECTLY crispy. It was the last taco I ate and nothing was soggy or overdone. I was super impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the texture. Overall, come here if the fusion style tacos make you curious and avoid anything "traditional". I didn't get any drinks (which I regret), but it was a fun place to try out.Service can be a little slow because they seem short staffed and get a lot of Uber eats orders. But the servers were all super friendly.Worth a try at least once.

Our first time here--and it's so cute. Drinks are bomb. I've been to the WeHo location, and DTLA one but I honestly like this ambience more. If you're looking for a smaller, nicer vibe with guaranteed yummy drinks. Shout out Martin & Raul for exceptional service & amazing drinks. I recommend the pepino caliente drink, if you like 'em spicy.

Shrina was absolutely lit. Made sure we had our waters filled, food on point, and even making sure we took advantage of the happy hour which was honestly a great deal. Will definitely be coming back, and ask for her!! First of many freelance mondays here.

It's our 30/22 anniversary (together/married) and we took a chance on a new place in our neighborhood, Tu Madre, to celebrate. I'm so very glad we did! The manager Antonio was so friendly and welcoming as well as the wait staff. We started with chips and guacamole. This starter is big enough for at least four people, for two it was a huge amount but absolutely delicious and we ate every bite. Then we went in on the myriad taco choices, which is what separates this place from other Mexican restaurants. We enjoyed Korean bbq taco, a potato cheese taco, Asian style crispy shrimp tacos as well as the traditional tacos. Everything was great! This lovely place also has a varied margarita menu. We shared a"flight" so we could try a bunch. I absolutely loved the passion fruit and blood orange. I then ventured out and tried the mezcal and ghost tequila margarita that I highly recommend. Then, Antonio surprised us with happy anniversary red velvet churros and cream cheese frosting to dip. So incredibly delicious! The margarita flight and churros come with sparkles!! The location and atmosphere is beautiful. Run don't walk to this new addition to larchmont village!

Food 3/5: my bowl was okay, did not taste tonsof flavors but my husband liked his burrito. The guac was good but the chips were too hard for me. Service 5/5Ambiance 5/5: pretty bar setting to hang with friends or lovers.

Tu Madres is a great vibe. Not too crowded but not empty, and the food is really good. I had the carne asada bowl and loved it! The cocktails are great. You could bring friends or go on a date.
