Authentic sushi at a great price. Got the sushi dinner set, mackerel, the monk, sweet shrimp, and crispy rice and all of it was 10/10. The quality and price is unmatched, and the service was great!

If you're looking for a sushi spot that delivers both quality and experience, Tsukiyo Sushi is worth checking out. For $29.99, you get a beautifully crafted sushi set that feels like a steal for the freshness and presentation. The $24.99 nabe is a comforting, hearty option--perfect for a colder day or when you're craving something warm and savory. One of the highlights? The traditional tatami seating, where you take off your shoes and immerse yourself in a more authentic Japanese dining experience. It adds a level of charm that makes your meal feel special, not just another quick sushi run.Another standout dish? The uni pasta. Creamy, rich, and packed with that signature umami depth, it's definitely worth trying if you're a fan of sea urchin. Pair it all with some decent sake, and you've got a solid meal. They also offer a $24.99 lunch special, making it a great spot for a mid-day sushi fix without breaking the bank. What more can I say? It's good. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself.

Went on a Tuesday night and were seated right away in the rooms! Ambiance is amazing, servers were fast and very hospitable. We got the sushi dinner set and it was great quality and variety for the price point. Favorites were the salmon, eel, and albacore. Very pleased with our experience - will be recommending this to my friends and family!

Came here on 2:30pm on a Sunday and parking at the plaza was already packed. I was able to find a spot but the parking was really tight. Parking was free at this time. We had no wait time and was able to choose where we wanted to be seated. In a room, bar area or table. My friend chose Tsukiyo Sushi to celebrate her birthday so we went all out with ordering a variety of sushi, house oden nabe (not on the ordering form but you can notify your server), oysters, a rattlesnake roll and the rolls royce hand roll for each of us. The fish tasted fresh, especially the uni. I don't usually care for uni but it was great here, it tasted like it just came from the ocean. For sushi I recommend the uni, amberjack and surf clam. We enjoyed the rattlesnake roll. The Rolls Royce was alright but I don't think it was worth the $14. Oysters were good but I personally wasn't a fan of the pozu jelly. It looked great aesthetically but I felt that it was too salty/sour and left an aftertaste. The nabe was hot, and the broth was a mixture of savory and sweet. The house oden nabe was filled mostly with a variety of fish cake, a couple of mushrooms and a couple of pieces of mochi kinchaku which I loved. Service was amazing! Staff checks up on you if you're doing ok, and everyone was very courteous.

This is what I would consider a hidden gem!!! Food is so delicious and fresh. The cuts of fish are delicious and the ingredients for the bento are amazing. The soup is really tasty and the experience is both traditional & authentic. Service is very fast and attentive. Very kind and it's fun to take your shoes off and it's comfortable too. Would recommend for a part of 2-4 people. Parking lot too but it can be packed!

Tsukiyo Sushi is a newly opened sushi place that is located at the heart of Koreatown. Although a busy area, parking is usually easy to find. Some of the dishes I ordered were the garlic edamame, several sushi, sashimis, and oysters. The garlic edamame had the perfect amount of garlic and spice to it, making it a great appetizer. In terms of their sushi and sashimi, I would say their sushi tastes better than their sashimi. The sashimi that was given to us had a slight gelatin texture and an off taste to it. Although it was slightly unappetizing, the taste of their sushi was absolutely delicious! If you ever stop by, I highly recommend their sushi! Overall, Tsukiyo Sushi is a place I would visit again when it comes to my next sushi craving!

Tucked away in the corner of a plaza, it's hard to see from the outside. Inside is cute and even has traditional seats where you sit on the floor, with your feet dangling.Everyone is super friendly and when you walk in they greet you with the typical "irashai mase!" And a smile on their faces.Tried so many food items and ALL of the fish was so fresh. It literally tasted very comparable to Japan's sushi. Some of my favorites:- Literally ALL of the sushi (especially the monkfish liver & the Uni & the Handroll... IT HAS CAVIAR)- Oysters (super fresh, has ponzu jelly)- Fried oyster- Mentaiko Pasta (creamy, yumminess) Parking in a lot, sometimes will have valet.

What a treat- this new find is a must try! My favorite is the spicy tuna on crispy rice. All the items ordered were delicious. Sorry, uni pasta not pictured, but it was good and not overwhelming. The service was excellent. The dining space was clean. It was fun to sit on traditional Japanese seating arrangement. Definitely returning. Parking is available in the plaza but dinner is valet only.
