Truly LA

I wish I found out that truly had a spot in the arts district sooner! I've been pregnant, so going to a brewery was never on my list of things to do. But I wanted to go out for new years with my husband and heard that angels city brewery was having a free y2k event. Once we arrived, that's where I noticed truly LA literally across from it. After checking it out, I saw they had several options for non alcoholic beverages and I was sold! They had a ton of outside seating with heaters, seats inside as well as a cute photobooth area. You order up at the bar and then find a spot. They have gender neutral bathrooms, but if they are packed you can just walk over to angel city! Overall whether you drink or not, truly LA is a fun experience and drink options for everyone!

My husband went here for the first time on New Year's Eve. I have been having a difficult time finding really good alcohol that is sweet and that I really like as much as my Sex on The Beach back home in Michigan. I think I found it. I tried the Passionfruit Hurricane drink and boy let me tell you, it's good! It's Super good. So good I didn't want to stop drinking them even at the cost. It was so totally worth it. My husband said I ordered 3 drinks and drank about 2.5 of them. I have to take his word because I don't remember all of the whole night but I do remember the taste and I recommend having a driver if you do intend on getting started. I didn't drive my husband did and he didn't drink. I also shared a half of my husband's chicken tenders with sauce. It was so crunchy and delicious! They were pretty big too. Next time I might have to get a dessert! We also danced on the dancefloor and they had music and cool light effects which made for fun Tiktoks! I used my phone stand and danced the night away! It was such a fun night! I took some pictures too which I will be sharing a few! To top it off after ringing in the new year with a countdown, we got a vodka Jello shot! It was so fun and exciting! Thank you for making my New Year's such a night to remember and one that ended last year with a real bang! Los Angeles really is a place where so much can happen! I love living in California for just that reason! I'm a True Cali Girl Dreamer! 2025 is gonna be a big and unforgettable year for me and I know it is!

Truly is such a fun and chill place to hang out. They have seltzers and specialty cocktails inclllluuuding frozen slushy cocktails! What more could you want?!Came for the HORCHATA SELTZER and luckily the bartender offered to let us try before we bought the limited six pack. Thaaaank goodness for her, she totally saved us. It was like a soda without the creaminess of an horchata. It was confusing. A miss but a fun concept. We staaayed for the cocktails! Love the option to make an ESPRESSO MARTINI, Vietnamese style aka add condensed milk. It was delicious!The MINTY MUDSLIDE was a delicious slushy with a bit of chocolate shavings and candy canes. If was so tasty! Love a good holiday drink. Love the food truck outside and before a certain time, they bring the food to your table. The DUCK FAT POPCORN was delicious and covered in cheese and pepper. So yummy!Ended up with CARNE ASADA FRIES. The fries were hearty and well seasoned.

Their cucumber michelada is so bomb. I cannot wait to come back. They have great music, great vibes, great friendly bartenders. Love this place. Will start being a regular here for sure. Prices are also nicely priced!

First time coming to Truly LA, they had an event going on called Pitch A Friend which was really fun! You pitch your friends by creating power point of them. We shared the chicken fingers which came with two difference sauces, both were really good. I got the Sandia Chamoy which is a frozen drink for $15 and so did two of my friends. We really liked them. We really enjoyed the ambience for a Thursday night! Service was fast and everyone was kind. Looking forward to common back to try the different drinks and food!

First timer!Intended on hanging at Angel City but landed on Truly right next door because they were playing the Dodger game.I enjoyed the cool vibes of the bright, open space. Any space that incorporates live plants earns extra points so the vining plants hanging from the ceiling won me over. Plenty of drinks options available, including non-alcoholic. The combinations of cocktails created with the Truly seltzers were fun to try. I tried the Thai-tini, a play on Thai iced tea. Tasted just like the tea but ended up a little too sweet for my liking in a cocktail. I also tried the Yuzu lemon drop which was more my style, a little sweet but more tart. My husband loved his Old Fashioned and Blue Rizz.This space would be perfect for an event or just a group gathering. Exceptional service played a big part in our experience also. Shout out to the welcoming bar attendants who clearly took care with creating out drinks.

Slightly lackluster experience at Truly LA. This spot gets a 10/10 for the overall decor and vibe but not so much for food and drink. I ordered a burger and lemon drop, my friend ordered tacos and a prickly pear guava frozen cocktail. The burger had okay flavor but was fairly dry and the lemon drop tasted like it was just a can of Truly without anything else added into it. The tacos were also okay in flavor but nothing mind blowing. The prickly pear guava slush was by far the standout of this visit. If you happen to be in the area I would recommend checking it out just for the experience but I don't plan on going back.

Great drinks... great music vibes... HOWEVER!!!!!! They will cut the good music and play a movie (Sunday night).... Not just kill the great vibes music but they cut the nfl Sunday night game to play a movie... you expect to hear good music and vibes at a bar, not watch a movie... a bad movie too NEW YEARS EVE ... few people started to leave when they turn off the music for a movie

My girls and I were looking for a place where we can catch up and grab tasty drinks. The cashiers were kind and informative on the type of drinks they have. It's not a full bar just to let y'all know. We did go on a Saturday so I will say it does get full. The music was good. They have a little dance floor going on. Definitely a place I would recommend going!
