Trejos Tacos - La Brea

Highly recommend! The vegan options were yummy! Clean restroom available with code. Three parking spots plus two disability parking spots for a total of 5.Indoor and outdoor seating. At night/winter the heat lamps are turned on for patrons.

Let's start with the positive. The lady who works the front counter is nice and very helpful. As for food it came out pretty quick. Maybe a little too quick it was pretty fast but maybe they are very good cooks. As for ambiance the place is chill it's a cool spot and they made it look nice.As for the negative as for the pricing I feel for the amount I'm paying for the bland Surf and Turf burrito $17 at least come with some chips. The burrito was ok the saving grace of the burrito which actually surprised me was the Trejo Original Mild sauce that was gold and would definitely but it. It saved the meal from it tasting ok to better but it shouldn't be that way.I like Danny Trejo so I'm giving this place a 2 stars.Food without Trejo Sauce 3/10Food with Trejo Sauce 7/10

Trejo's Tacos is the Bomb!!! I got the steak and shrimp burrito with guac and OMG, so great. Super delicious and HUGE! Their signature hot sauce is so great as well. Small but available parking lot in the back which is great given parking in the area. Trejo's Rules!!! I love this place!

Definitely excited to try this well reviewed taco joint while in town! We arrived at dinner time and it was decently busy but had tables available. The booth to order at was a little odd as we felt we were standing in the way and not much room for a line, but the employee made quick work of our order and helped us answer a few questions about the menu.The ambiance outside was enjoyable with beautiful weather, clean tables, and a dimly lit patio. Our food arrived quickly and there was so much flavor! The Pollo Frito Quesadilla was amazing, so tasty and the right amount of heat and crunch. Definitely my favorite! My boyfriend enjoyed the surf and turf burrito and my favorite taco was the carnitas, spicy and sweet. Prices weren't average for the LA area. $15 Burrito and & $6.50 per taco.Our only complaint, which we sadly didn't realize till we left, was we ordered chips and guacamole and never got them.

Fun experience to try Trejos TacosI came on a Saturday (or Sunday). Street parking was found quickly but the parking at the restaurant has like 4 spots plus handicap spots. We had a bowl and a burrito, price was good, I will not say reasonable because come on... everything is pricey! Burrito was a pretty big size. My bowl was filling and had lots of shrimp. I had half and saved the rest for later. I was thinking of having a Margarita and to this day still regret not having one!! Lol! Yayo (my son) enjoyed his soft serve Ice Cream. And the young lady working that day... she was quick and friendly. So people pick up your trash from the tables so she doesn't have to run around so much!! @just_._jax

The best Horchata in all of Los Angeles! Not too sweet. Yum. If you're in the Hollywood or La Brea area, definitely make the trip down to Trejo Tacos! I kinda wish they didn't put tater tots on things, but otherwise it's a very nice spot. The server was super eager, and the store is very pleasant. We are here for a late Wednesday breakfast and there's only four people here. It's very quiet.

First time here I arrived with (5) people we are from the San Fernando valley so it took us 45 minutes. Location and ambience, very nice location has definitely improved. I feel safe. It looks nice and happy very very special. Really enjoyed it. Such a nice day. Kind of cool sun out wonderful time to sit outside and eat very good quality Restaurant food had two shrimp tacos 2 steak tacos and two. Very good I also had guacamole which was good but didn't stand out. Also, the habanero salsa wasn't hot just okay. The drinks were good and the customer service was great. Overall I think it's a wonderful place and you should definitely try it. We all enjoyed it. Didn't cost more than any place you would go so total of six people we spend about $200, but we had lots of food so it was worth it, hope to see you soonRestrooms are also clean

Came here for a group dinner. Staff was super friendly and helpful, helped me arrange the tables to fit our group of 10. If it hadn't been raining they have great outdoor space with cute lights. Thought it would be a nice open space to bring some board games with friends. Our food was served quickly, we were QUITE IMPRESSED at how tasty the salsas and guac, chips, tacos and all the food really. We had some vegan diners who loved the mushroom tacos, I loved the crispy fried chicken and Baja fish taco with regular pico de gallo. All in all, terrific! Will come back.

I was looking forward to trying this food for a long time because I love Mexican food and I'm vegan. I dragged my non-vegan friend along and our two young children, we were looking forward to celebrating something. We were both underwhelmed by the location, it felt a little sketchy, but we kept our children safely with us and ordered. The bill was $139.45 for 2 adults and 2 children in a questionable part of town. The food was okay, but not great either. I had such high hopes for this place, but will never go back mostly because of the prices! I would expect this price at a higher quality restaurant, possibly... But, we were just grabbing lunch! I really wanted to support Danny Trejo because he does a lot of good, but sadly I was very disappointed. Sorry Danny, fix the prices and maybe you'll get more customers.
