I was in town visiting the old farmers market when I saw this place. I didn't know Danny Trejo has a restaurant/taco stand, so of course I went and checked it out. Ordered the carne asada and fish taco. Both were good and perfect size. Kinda wish it didn't cost more than five bucks per taco, but I guess I was in LA and in a tourist spot. I'd come here again on my next trip. Wish I purchased a coffee cup or something to commemorate my visit to Trejo's Tacos.

Got the cauliflower taco and the fried fish taco. Both were OK, a little pricey for how small they are. Minimal ingredients, waited 10 minutes in line just to order with 2 people in front of me. I think the quality of ingredients, and the recipes for the tacos are great, and have a super unique flavor profile. I will be back, it's in a great location at the grove, and I do love tacos, but I think I will try something else rather than those 2. Staff was super friendly.

Trejo's Tacos at the Farmers Market is just alright like the other reviewers have expressed. I ordered a chicken quesedilla and it was okay. I wouldn't really want to come back since there's other options in the area and it really wasn't that good. Service was meh. The whole experience was meh. Could have even better.

Big fan of Trejo's. I always get a bowl and it is always good. The chips and salsa are fantastic as well. It's the Farmers Market so it is a bit pricy, but the vibe of the place is always cool. The food at Trejo's is great! I've also always had great service there. Definitely Recommended!

Was not wowed by this. Prices aside (it's the Grove, I can't act surprised), the food was just not stunning. Got the breakfast burrito (no meat) and the jackfruit bowl. The burrito itself was okay, but the bean dip they put in there was literally 100% of the flavor, it didn't let anything else shine, and especially for a breakfast burrito that's just not what you want to see. The jackfruit bowl wasn't bad, but portions were a little smaller than we would have liked. Given the amount of food options in the farmers market, I can't see myself going back.

The carne asada tacos were amazing. The seasoning was perfect. Prices fair for the amount of meat you get. I would highly recommend.

Love a good Taco Tuesday and you can't go home with (Danny) Trejo's Tacos. This location is one of five now and is a must!Inside the heart of the original Farmer's Market right in the center with plenty of shared stall/small biz seating throughout this open air built up marketplace.I love the Young Jackfruit Tacos but also more so in Burrito form. The bowls are pretty hearty and they have additional vegan as well as vegetarian options including mushroom asada, roasted cauliflower and various queso/cheese y/o blends for dairy goers.Chips are life at Trejos, this location and the Santa Monica Promenade do they extra well! Hoping to pop in again soon for Empanadas as like all their dish variety their is traditional, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, and vegan optional... Not to mention some gluten-free by default choices.Bottles or canned beverages primarily, however you can select Agua Frescas + Horchata as well to go with your T.T. at the OG FM experience, service and eats.

Taco food stand in the center of the Grover farmer's market - I ordered the bowl with carnitas and quite enjoyed it, especially the freshness of the pineapple. The tacos were probably overpriced for what they are - $7 for a single taco? Of the varieties we tried, the fish taco surprised me with how tender yet crispy the fish was and was probably the favorite. On the side there is a water station as well as 4 different sauces to self-serve.

Very delicious and very fast!My party ordered the asada tacos (actually; we ordered 2 and they gave us a 3rd one free!) and carnitas burritos. The flavor of all three were extremely delicious, meat was juicy, and the food was prepared very quickly. They also opened our drinks for us. There are plenty of tables to sit and eat at and you're able to leave the plates there for them to pick up. This location is also primely located in the center of the farmer's market which makes it great for people watching.

As someone who's very picky, I can tell you the tacos here are amazing, especially the steak ones. Plenty of sitting in that area.
