Tonkatsu House

My friends and I made a stop to eat here randomly and it was excellent. We were all really hungry and the portion sizes were extremely generous. Great bang for your buck! That's hard to find these days.The service was excellent and the food came out quickly.We were in a large group so I basically got to try almost everything off the menu lol The fish was very crispy and flaky, the chicken was well seasoned and tender, and the pork was delicious. They even have combos that come with Udon! I would definitely come back here again.

This place is located on the first level of the Koreatown Plaza. The ambiance feels very homey and there were a lot of Korean grandparents, which is always a good sign ;) The service was pretty fast and they spoke pretty good English, so ask away if you don't know what to get! I originally got the spicy tonkatsu, but it was wayyy too spicy. I had to switch the sauce to the regular. I usually have a high spice tolerance, but this sauce was very spicy. We also got the tonkatsu and chicken plate as well. The chicken was a bit dry, so I would recommend the pork dishes. The sauce for the tonkatsu is on the sweeter side and is similar to bbq sauce, it was unique and delicious. The cabbage and macaroni salad balanced the dish out with the pickled jalapeños which cut out the richness of the dish. In addition, the prices were very reasonable. In total, both dishes were $34 and the portions were very big. Overall, I would definitely come here again if you are looking for a cheap, comforting meal!Also note, all the restaurants provide parking validation and for a to-go box from this restaurant, they charge $0.25.

4.5 stars for us! The service was fast and efficient. Ambiance, casual as it in in the middle of a food court setting. We had the king cutlet and loved it. I actually wish it was a little thicker in size, but it was still really good. When it's sounded so thin, I feel like it dries out the pork a little. It came with two sauces, one that tops it off, and this one tastes like a sweet and sour sauce. Then there's this other yellow-y sauce that tastes like mayo mixed w tarter sauce. Was not a fan of the thick yellow sauce. The sauce that tastes like a sweet and sour is good, but I still feel like it needs something more. Overall, we are glad we came here. Along with this meal, we also stopped by other establishments in this plaza, and that made the whole trip worth it.

Good price and the tonkatsu is crispy (if you ask for the sauce on the side). I like the sauce sweet so if you like sweet you'll like it too. The macaroni is meh and the corn soup is meh. The only thing is that every time I eat here and my brother has eaten here, we both get tummy aches. :( perhaps the oil?

I recently visited this amazing tonkatsu restaurant, inside the H Mart food court and I can't recommend it enough. The portions are huge--you're definitely getting your money's worth. The crispy coating on the pork cutlets is perfectly golden and crunchy, while the meat inside is tender and juicy. The service was also fantastic. If you're a fan of tonkatsu, this place is a must-visit!

Great food and service. They give large portion of food and the pork cutlet is really yummy. I normally get the combo, pork cutlet with noodle. Great value for a meal.

Delicious and affordable donkatsu in a small korean mall food court next to hmart. I ordered the king pork cutlet dish which you can easily share the king pork cutlet between two people for only $14.62. Katsu is served with macaroni salad, cabbage salad, rice and katsu sauce. The katsu sauce is banging! Lowkey obsessed with it. The sauce is sweet and savory without being too salty. They were also so generous with their portions of meat, cabbage salad and sauce! I can't complain. The food was so good we scarfed it down in like 10 minutes. Service is friendly and super fast. I received my dish in less than five minutes. What a little local gem.

Thin and juicy tonkatsu and tasty sauce. Put some katsu sauce on macaroni sauce too. Quality food at good price.This place never disappoints !!!
