What We Ordered:-Fried Chicken Box $18.753 Pc- drum, thigh & whole wing (+$2.50)with a side of Curry Cream Corn -Tokyo Chicken Sandwich & Chips $16.50-Crispy Fried Chicken Skin $6-Mac and Cheese $9-Soy Glazed Yams $4-Curry Cream Corn $4-Creamy Potato Salad $4-Coleslaw $4-BBQ Baked Beans w/Chicken $4-Dashi Braised Collard Greens w/Bacon $4My wife loves Fried Chicken! We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day with a Fried Chicken lunch. I like the idea of a low-key celebration of love for...fried chicken and each other! We read good things online about their fried chicken and particularly their fried chicken skin. The review online didn't not lie. This was some of the best fried chicken we've ever had.All the sides were great in their own right. There wasn't a side that we didn't like. Now, that we experienced most of them. We wouldn't order all them again as we have already tried them. Favorite Sides-BBQ Baked Beans w/Chicken $4-Coleslaw $4-Creamy Potato Salad $4My favorite side was the BBQ Baked Beans w/Chicken, but my wife who doesn't like beans wasn't a fan. Her loss! More for me! hehe.My wife's favorite side was the coleslaw which I thought was good as well. She ate the vast majority of it before I could go for second helping. The Creamy Potato Salad was also another one that we both enjoyed. Favorite Snacks-Crispy Fried Chicken Skin $6-Mac and Cheese $9We ordered two out of the three snacks on the menu. We thought they both were great. We were blown away by the Crispy Fried Chicken Skin. My wife use to eat a lot of chicken skin back home in China. Eating this snack was very nostaligic for her. It was very heavenly! I also enjoyed the Crispy Fried Chicken Skin and it was paired well with the Tokyo Spicy Mayo. The Mac and Cheese was so cheesy and rich. I really enjoyed as did my wife. We will definitely be ordering these two again. I told my wife we should have ordered some Crispy Fried Chicken Skin to-go. She regretted not doing so. The Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Fried Chicken Box were equally delicious. I think we would just order the Fried Chicken Box next time as we love the Fried Chicken on its own and it comes with a side and the chicken rice. The Chicken rice was very moist and delicious. I'm a loss of word describing how delicious it really is, but trust be when I say this is some bomb as* chicken! According to their website, they are inspired by Japanese and Southern Fried Chicken. The chicken is marinated in soy, ginger, garlic and fried in a rice bran oil and they season it with a secret seasoning. The service was very attentive and helpful. We came a bit early on a rainy day and they let us inside the restaurant 25 minutes early to dry off from the rain. The location is not ideal and we are really kicking ourselves for never going to their original now closed location in Monterey Park which is very close to our home. I was choking on some food as it was so darn good. I was stuffing my face (more so than usual) and the staff brought over some water for us which was very sweet. I love supporting local businesses they put out great food. I wish they were still in their MP location because we would go a lot more. My wife is still talking about that Fried Chicken and asking when we can go back there. We'll back soon! I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed! Pro Tip: Download the InKind App and order via the app for take away or dine-in and you can get $25 off $75

Best fried chicken! They will use the most juicy and tender part of a chicken ---chicken thigh! The batter is fluffy and crispy, plus a light seasoning within. The chicken sando also paired well with a mayo sauce. But, each big bite was all supporting the fried chicken. They have a bright and high ceiled seating area in the store. Once you complete your order, you can self serve and enjoy the meal. The order did take a while to wait, but I guess they are freshly frying each order.

My BF and I had our first date at their MPK location and have been going back every year for our "Fried Chicken Anniversary!" Haha. When they closed we tried to replace it with other fried chicken but it wasn't the same! So we are so happy they have re-opened!We got the buddy plate with 6 pcs of mixed chicken and 2 sides and rice/pickles. I got coleslaw (it's slightly gingery and sour vs creamy) and he chose curry corn! I also ordered their umami bomb cheesy seaweed sprinkled crispy top Mac and cheese. It's so so yummy. I missed it! Oh and we ordered their spicy chicken skin with spicy mayo because.. why not! I missed a year of Fried Chicken Anniversary! It's a newer (to me) item, and while super crispy and tasty, it was also quite salty. The fried chicken was hot, crispy, and flavorful. You can get a sweet or spicy sauce or a mayo sweet or mayo spicy. All of the above are perfect. The pickled cabbage is a wonderful side. I did not enjoy the rice but my BF demolished it. It's okay that's why I get the Mac!!Also they have cool shirts and we bought some for about $30 each. I hope they have more of the art on the walls on shirts in the future! Overall so thankful the Yamahashi couple are still making their gourmet Tokyo Fried Chicken. Yes, it's a little pricy but it's well worth it. I love that the new location is bright, airy, there are more seats, and the wait time isn't insane. My BF said he misses the ambiance of the old location, it felt like being in Japan, but I'm happy they're doing well! I used to love their Brussel sprouts and candied yam side but had to pass this time. Parking across the street is $3 for 15 min. It's kind of tough to find street parking. There's also a few lots with a flat rate in the area if you drive around and look for their signs! Services was great too. :)

Popped in late after a meeting and had the place all to ourselves. Service was super friendly and food came out very fast. Water dispenser available at the side and everything was still as tasty as the old location. Parking wise, there's street available if you can find it. Since it was dark, I didn't notice any lots close by.

Some of the best fried chicken tenders in town! The breading is light airy and crunchy while the chicken itself is so juicy. It's amazing how they are able to accomplish this without the chicken being too greasy. The sides are also great, specially the Cole slaw and French fries but everything was enjoyable.

Really good crispy, flavorful fried chicken! One of the best fried chicken in terms of flavor and breading imo but the menu is always changing and the location is difficult to get to. I'm not sure what is or what isn't on their menu anymore but I was disappointed when they switched to serving only tenders. I think you also have to pay extra for sauces now, when it came with the meal in the past, and the side options have gotten fewer over time too. I wish there was more consistency because I feel like every time I visit, something has changed and they don't have something I used to enjoy, but otherwise it's really yummy!

Friday late lunch at 4:15 pm - fried chicken box and jumbo tender box, corn soup, dashi braised collard greens with bacon Service: friendly staffAmbiance: modern, clean and well organized Price: a little pricy Food quality: the chicken tender was great, better than the fried chicken (tights/ wing/ drum), the batter just overly thick but still yummy. Lovef the corn soup and chicken rice and the yuzu pepper sauce.

10/0 would definitely recommend!! My boyfriend and I watched this on the news with LA Try Guy as their guest, so we decided to give it a shot.. We were NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Music was a VIBE, Service was phenomenal, everyone was kind and accommodating. We each ordered the 3pc with sides, I got the soy glazed yams and I loved them so much I ordered some to go. My boyfriend got greens and he absolutely loved it. We tried their version of chicharron (fried chicken skin) and we loved it, probably the best we've had! We also ordered their Mac n Cheese and we were not disappointed at alllllll!! Loved it so much we ordered some to go too lol.. Overall, we give them a 20/10 lol.. we will definitely be coming back!
