Tofu Bean Korean BBQ

Rainy season calls for soup, and what hits the spot better than some steamy hot soondubu?? It appears many people have had the same thoughts with the abundant rain we've been getting recently. I originally wanted to go to another tofu soup spot nearby, but the line was out the door there. We decided to come here in hopes of an available table. Thankfully, there was no wait. I have been to both locations and they provide the same casual service and clean interior. The usual rotation of banchan was decent, but I have had better elsewhere. I did love their purple rice, super soft and fluffy. The soup was also flavorful and rich. If I were to consider the whole overall experience, I do prefer another spot over Tofu Bean. However, this place is solid if you just want some good soup. They did start charging for to-go though, just a heads up.

I'll start off by saying this place is super solid! I come here 2x-3x a month for weekend lunch and they serve a consistently good meal every time.I usually order their Soon Dubu and I love BCD's tofu soup which I think where most people in the area go for tofu soup, but if its a little too crowded or you want to support more local, I think you get around the same quality here! Their spicy pork is tasty as well when you want to split some meat for the table.They provide a nice selection for their banchan, I especially enjoy their cucumber and fish cake.Price is reasonable for tofu soup at around $15, and approaching $30 for combos and during dinner prices as well.I don't know what it's like during dinner, but even lunch on weekends is not too packed, but I think more people should try out this place whether it be for a family meal or to catch up with some friends over tofu soup!

Tofu Bean in diamond bar delivers yummy food, cleanliness, and quality service. The restaurant interior is very spacious so I don't feel crowded next to the neighboring tables and the restaurant is very clean. I always worry about smelling like my lunch when returning back to work but the ventilation and overall cleanliness of the restaurant doesn't have me feeling grimy afterwords. The workers were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and delivered piping hot. They must use fresh ingredients and not too much msg because I wasn't feeling sluggish or sleepy after the meal. Also a bonus! There's no "combo" sized tofu soup. All combo meals still come with a full sized tofu soup :)

Our favorite Texan was in town and he recommended this place. Thanks Jespher. Amazing food and service!. The banchan are all very good and the Galbi was solid 10/10 my son loved it! I ordered the Seafood & Beef Tofu Soup, it was delicious... 9/10. It had tons of flavor and I love that they serve purple rice. Everything was yummy, highly recommend trying this place. Parking is easy to find and the bathroom is clean!

This is good Korean food ! They are friendly and respectful, helpful and ambitious! The Korean food is very good and popular! I'm proud of my Korean !!

Tofu Bean is a KBBq place in Diamond Bar that's made to order. There's plenty of parking in the complex, and it is easy to find. The menu has combos that are good for sharing and comes with re-fillable sides. The food comes out quick, and the waitresses are nice and accommodating. There's plenty of seating and the ambiance is good for a family or celebrating something casual too. Also, the food is reasonably priced for the portion size. The bulgogi was flavored well and the tofu soup came out hot enough to cook the egg. The sides were overall balanced and seasoned well - the cucumbers, potatoes, fish cakes and rice complemented the meat and soup well. I'd recommend for someone looking for a quality KBBq at a good price!

Wow !Came here on a dinner date with my significant others and typically when I go to Koreans spots I always feel I am not welcome or that I don't get the best service because I cannot speak Korean.But this place was the opposite ! I actually got taken care of and I got recommended great food !I had an amazing time here and would recommend to anyone to check this place out when you have the free time ( and a big appetite ) !I enjoyed the side dishes and the overall atmosphere of the place. They had a huge fish tank that honestly was so clean I did not even realize there was fish in there haha.When it comes to the food the size is considerably "family" sized.I enjoyed a tofu soup, pieces of beef to share, as well as an Rabboki to share with my partner and it was MORE than enough.

Awesome experience eating here! Amazing food and great service! The waitresses are all attentive and friendly.We got the tofu soup, galbi combo and cold noodles. Everything was delicious. The side dishes are all really good too. My favorites were the kimchi, bean sprouts and cucumber.Great place!

Food was great Staff is horrible The 2 Korean ladies are so rude they both have a vey bad attitude. One of the ladies always turns off the Open sign at 9pm, restaurant closes at 10 ‍
