Toe Bang Cafe

Came here on a rainy Saturday evening and was very surprised that there was no wait as this place usually gets busy during late nights. Was my first time here and was very excited to see that this was a cozy and chill vibe scenery.Stir-fry Spicy Seafood Udon 5/5-Holy crap this dish was actually really good. For the price, they give you a large plate to be shared with a couple of people. They also give you lots and lots of different seafood varieties like squid, octopus, clams, and shrimp. Paired with the udon in a spicy korean style sauce, this dish is packed with lots of flavor. Hot Cheetos corn cheese 5/5-Also really good. Most places don't utilize sugar in their corn cheese recipe but this place does it perfectly. It was a small hint of sweetness that just made the whole dish very balanced. With the hot Cheetos sprinkled on top, it also gave the dish a nice kick to it. I would spend the extra money to get the hot Cheetos version but the regular would be just as good.Garlic and Scallop Skewer 4/5- The garlic was very good but there's no way to mess up a good bbq'd garlic. They do add a light layer of this sweet soy glaze on top of it that made it stand out. The scallop skewers were just okay and a little chewy and not as tender.Overall, I would definitely come here again and bring more friends to have a nice drink out and place to sit down and eat!

Came here on a Friday night a couple weeks back to celebrate a friend's birthday (we were 5 people altogether). Toe Bang is inside of a busy plaza with other restaurants, boutiques, and cafes. Although there is parking ($10 flat rate), spots can be sparse, and we played the waiting game for about 10 minutes before a spot opened up for us.Toe Bang is a cozy dive, but the music was lively and they had some televisions set to some sports events.We were seated right away, and scanned the QR code for their menu. As of 11/22/24, they still have a really great special on a huge selection of their skewers. Out of the skewers on special we ordered scallops, beef intestine, chicken gizzard, pork belly, and shrimp. All of the skewers were great, except for our second round, in which it tasted like the beef intestine was sitting out for a little while before it made it to our table.We also ordered a large pineapple soju cocktail, which provided more than enough for the 3 of us that drank. For more substantial food, we got the steamed pork w/ cabbage (#41) and bulgogi (#84), which came out hot and fresh. The jang that was served with the steamed pork were so good, and the portions were great as well.The servers were so nice and patient, and they have a doorbell system that helps out with calling over a server if needed.All in all, I highly recommend this spot for a late night dinner and/or drinks with friends or a quick bite before going out to the club or bar.I really enjoyed this spot, and hope to come back again soon!

I visited Toe Bang Cafe over the weekend with my friends to celebrate my birthday and I loved it so much. We went on a Friday so the area was pretty packed. One of my friends luckily did find street parking; however, I waited for a parking spot to open up in the main plaza. Once we got to the restaurant we were seated almost immediately. The place was full, but there was no wait. Our server was friendly and we were able to order quickly. They were having a deal on the skewers that day. We tried the shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, chicken gizzard, and pork belly skewers. I liked all of them except for the chicken gizzard skewer. That was my first time trying it so it may just not be for me. We each got our own side of rice and shared bulgogi and the steamed pork served with cabbage. I will say it was all so delicious. My favorite was the steamed pork! As for drinks I tried the beer, soju, and soju cocktail. I would recommend all three. The vibe at TBC is really cool and they play good music. I would recommend stopping by.

Service fucken sucked! I'm alway here with my girl , but this time I brought my brothers from outta town. And we started with drinks but it's seems if you're not Asian nor Korean you'll get a shit service. Fuck that. We rang the ring multiple times till they came to take our order. I guess they do t like none Asian customers. No longer going there.

We've come here a few times now, most recently after dinner at Quarters next door...We just absolutely love Toe Bang. It's such a great place to grab some drinks late after dinner. They offer soju, beer, hard liquor, and an assortment of Korean dishes that go well with drinking. It's just such a comfortable place to hangout and drink. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly. I love that they have a ringer bell at the table so that you don't have to flag someone down to order something..especially when they're busy. They're open until 2am, but we were the last customers remaining at around 1:30 am. I'm sure the servers wanted to go home, but I never felt rushed and they were so nice about it. Thanks so much!!

Toe Bang Cafe is an awesome spot for some authentic Korean comfort food! The vibe is casual and fun, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes--everything from hearty stews to Korean BBQ favorites. The portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on. The service is friendly and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy tasty Korean food in a chill setting, Toe Bang Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

Great place to hang out in k-town - they have plenty of food & drinks, and usually there is no wait. Service is friendly & pretty good. We got the steamed egg (delicious), & some soju cocktails. I would highly recommend the yogurt flavor soju (like calpico & soju) and highly recommend against the lychee flavor - it tasted like dirty water lol and was not what we were expecting.

Just dropped by for a quick bite and the food was pretty good. It was my first time and I definitely enjoyed the rice cakes and korean pancakes. There's other food available and obviously drinks as well. Cute and small little place to kick back
