Full disclosure my review is based on being a guest at a party that was held in this restaurant. I have seen this place a lot as I live around this area but first time to go to attend a party. Well first off it's a Kosher restaurant and bar so that tells you that this is probably going to be more expensive than your regular bar and restaurant. The party I attended had about 50 guests and the service was great, servers paid attention to our drinks make sure we keep getting wine (well they sell each bottle so...) and the table setting and prep was really classy. We were served a 4-course meal so the starters, appetizers and salad was a lot. There were probably about 5-7 apps - my favorites are - Jerusalem bagel (so good especially when it was hot) the oyster mushroom skewers were delish the bluefin sashimi was also good and I'm glad my section of the table most of the guests didn't eat the raw fish. For the mains - we were served ribeye steak medium rare and I think it's very well seasoned and cooked right. The branzino was perfect and was a favorite at our side of the table. The desserts were served as well - there's one that stands out - the pistachio - I've never had that before and it was definitely worth a try.Place looks like a high end date night for those who observe Kosher and music is also to their taste. It can be loud for some people but I'm fine with it - definitely giving you that party / late night vibes.

TLV Tapas Bar's 2nd anniversary was very tasty. The atmosphere was electric with a live DJ and a lively crowd. The set menu (see photos) featured vibrant Mediterranean flavors, and I had the chance to try: *Jerusalem Bagel - Warm, fluffy, and perfect with za'atar olive oil and tomato purée*Tzatziki - A cashew cheese twist with cucumber, garlic, dill, and chili flakes.*Zaaluk - Smoky fire-roasted eggplant with spicy shushka peppers and garlic confit*Okra - Tossed with lemon, soy sauce, and urfa pepper for a tangy, slightly spicy bite*Oyster Mushroom - Tender, with fresh herb gremolata, citrus, and sumac*Cauliflower Steak - Hearty, with beef demi-glaze, capers, and wild dill*Salat Hashuk - Crisp and refreshing with radish, cucumber, tomatoes, mint, and citrus vinaigrette*Arugula Salad - Peppery and balanced with fennel, pomegranate, beets, pine nuts, and sumac vinaigrette*Chilean Sea Bass - Buttery and perfectly cooked, paired with charred bok choy and Persian lemonBeyond the food, TLV's partnership with the LATTC Foundation made the night even more special, supporting scholarships for aspiring chefs.Overall, a fantastic celebration of food, community, and giving back. Cheers to many more anniversaries, TLV!

I would love to give this place a good review but the lack of customer service is astounding. Opentable only allows 630 or 1130 no matter how ahead-of-time you make it yet the host suggests to make it "ahead of time" although half the restaurant is empty. We showed up on a whim hoping to get seated in a half empty restaurant and were told we could only sit outside or wait over 2 hours for indoor seating. The hours this restaurant has is a gamble daily, and calling them to place a reservation is next to impossible. Jumping through hurdles to get seated here just isn't worth it, considering the vast amount of other options around Ventura Blvd.

Fast service, amazing food, great atmosphere and ambiance, reasonable pricing (for a Kosher spot, obviously). A+ on the sushi!

It was our first time to the TLV Tapas Bar and we really enjoyed it! Food was fresh, healthy, light, and great tasting. My husband, who is a huge meat lover, ate cauliflower stake, okra, and chicken liver, like they were his favorite meals. Awesome deserts and excellent, very tasty drinks! Great contemporary ambiance with a Middle Eastern vibe, good DJ, who played a variety of music (everything from Israeli to ABBA, to current pop), amazing servers, and clean toilets! This is definitely a winner!

Great place to go with a large crowd . Vibes , music , service and food are all on point . I wouldn't recommend it for a date night . It is really loud inside and hard to have a convo unless you go for an earlier dinner before the music starts . The mushroom was my favorite appetizer and the marshmallow gnaffe was my favorite dessert . Since we were a large party we just ordered a bunch of appetizers and salads . I didn't get to get any entrees but just FYI the steak is $92 and the skewers are about $30 for a single skewer . It is definitely pricey but nice experience .

Such an amazing experience! We were celebrating our seventh anniversary and arrived without a reservation, luckily we were seated at the bar. The entire restaurant was gorgeous, and the bar was very comfortable. The bartender, who was our server at the bar was phenomenal. He truly made our evening special, starting us off with champagne, the perfect recommendations, made sure we were always happy. He engaged with us like we were the only people there even though the bar and restaurant were completely packed. The food was outstanding! We started with the hummus. It was served with light and fluffy challa bread which was perfectly toasted. The hummus was so creamy and flavorful. The next dish was the beet and frisée salad. It was tangy and sweet, with a light vinegar dressing and pomegranate seeds on top. The perfect salad to break up all of the savory dishes we ordered. My absolute favorite was the grilled mushrooms. Thoughtfully cooked until slightly crispy and juicy. They roast veggies over charcoal and they do it very well. I dream about the mushroom dish, seriously it was that good. We also had the grilled kohlrabi served over cashew labne. Again, another perfectly seasoned dish. For my main entree, as I hadn't already stuffed myself, I had the most delicate, delicious sea bass. It was light and melted in my mouth. After all of the food we didn't think we had room for dessert and then we saw them coming out of the kitchen and there was no way we could say no. We finished with the bread pudding which was a gooey plate of goodness. The stand out dessert was definitely the chocolate sphere. It had a light crispy chocolate shell that incased a soft and decadent chocolate mousse. This is my new favorite restaurant in the valley. I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes. Five stars for the perfect service, the mouth watering meal and the gorgeous interior.

We went for the first time to try the dine LA menu and were so impressed. The food had a beautiful presentation and more importantly tasted great. The portions are large and really more family style but they also have sushi. We started with tuna on crispy rice and enjoyed it. Everything from the service to food and ambiance was wonderful. One note is they do play house music which might be a little louder than some people would want but it didn't bother us and we were able to have a conversation with out struggling to hear each other. Our server Lila, was so sweet and made this family birthday dinner a happy one. We will be back for sure.
