I was this Taco place on a different Social Media post. I could not believe that this was the closest tacos to Tijuana Tacos (Yes I go to Tacos El Franc in Tijuana as often as possible before I cross the boarder during my visit to my family)I agree that this is as close as one can get to Tijuana Style Tacos. It was perfect. It's a little far from the San Gabriel Valley but when in downtown LA I will be stopping here again.Recommend: Tacos de Asada & Pastor. Now that I have a baseline I will be trying other items here.

Oh no, this place was a major letdown! The only reason for the hype seems to be the so-called "handmade" tortillas, but they were downright terrible--dry and flavorless, just masa and water with no lard or even a pinch of salt. The meat wasn't any better, tasting like it came straight from Sysco, the same supplier most taco trucks use. When I asked if they made their own chorizo, they admitted they bought it from the market, which made me suspect all their meat comes from there. To make matters worse, they don't even make their own salsas. On top of that, the cleanliness here is questionable. I noticed the cutting board they were using was extremely worn and misshapen, with a deep depression in the middle. That made me wonder how much wood was ending up in the food. It looked so unsanitary, and sure enough, I paid the price--I got the runs after eating here. I know it was from this place because I only eat once a day, and that day, this was my only meal. The main attraction here is supposed to be the tortillas, but honestly, they were some of the worst I've ever had. What a disappointment!Needless to say, I will not be returning

You want some authentic street tacos then you found just the right place. Now first off you need to know that it is street parking only and sure maybe not the best area but if you are actually from LA its nothing to crazy. We have parked our car 3-4 blocks away and have never had a problem. You will notice especially as the night goes on a lot of people parking the streets are going to the same place. Now for the food it is all worth it. I'm pretty basic with my order its always 1 Mulita with Crane Asada and 1 Mulita with Chicken. I always go back and forth on which one is my favorite but honestly this is some of the best Carne Asada I have had. The tortillas are made on the spot and all the meats are fresh and fired up on the spot. They also have all the salsas you need. Although I don't use any anyone who I have gone with does and they love it. The earlier you go the less of a line there is but the wait is never long. If you are looking for some good dinner or a late night spot to hit after a concert or a night out on the town this is a must hit spot.

Came on a Sunday night and parking is terrible around here lol. It is street parking only and it's kind of in a shady area. Luckily I was able to find parking right in front of the stall. It seems that a lot of people just stall in front where they're blocking the lane, so they can just grab & go... It seems like they don't really care? The line did take awhile for tacos, it was moving pretty slowly. It was also very smoky as well. I got to order 2 carne asadas and 1 al pastor taco. The guy making the tacos was very quick! So i'm not sure why it took awhile for the line to move.. but probably other people are ordering a lot of items in front of us. Order came out to be like $8. After ordering, you get to the station where you can put your own items, which the cook already basically put everything in for you, so there was only really radish or grilled onions that you can add for yourself. There were a few tables that were questionably clean. After a few bites, I thought it tasted pretty good, but I wish the green (guac?) sauce had more of a chunkier texture. All the meats also highkey tasted the same, it was actually pretty spicy too. They weren't they meaty, but it tasted alright.Overall, the entire experience was just okay. I feel like they didn't have as many items as other taco joints, like quesabirrias. Also the parking, makes it not as worth it. I still rather much go to Ave 26 for convenient and delicious tacos.

Incredible. Hard working machine crew- they kill it! Got lucky parking up the block on a random weeknight- so weekends must be tough. Every bite was great. Glad we tried it. Really a STANDOUT.

Great and truly authentic Mexican food. There was a big line upon our arrival which had to mean something good. Really cool ordering/service style where you watch everything being prepared right in front of you. They make their own tortillas, and prepare them on the spot upon ordering. Super cheap food and highly recommend not ordering the spicy salsa unless you are a big fan of spicy food. Tacos were great and overall just a cool experience. Only about 3 tables so be ready to stand or get takeout food.

My husbands favorite taco stand. Finally got to taste and it did not disappoint. I love that this is in a large parking lot vs sidewalk and there are seating areas. Also love watching them make authentic tortillas. Food is amazing.

WOWOW! this place blew me away. Their tacos were loaded and the handmade tortillas were so yummy! The whole time I was there there was a long line and rightfully so because their tacos were so so delicious. I tried the asada, Al pastor, and the cabeza and my favorite was the cabeza!! it was so juicy and tender and I still think about the cabeza tacos from here everyday. I wish I lived closer just so I could get these every week. Don't forget about the free grilled onions on the side as well as the beans!
