We're always on the lookout for new taco spots, especually those that claim are influenced by TJ. Unfortunately for the price, size, and taste of these, we cannot recommend this place. We came around lunch time on a Sunday and at that time it was pretty quiet. It did pick up as we were finishing. Not a lot of tables to sit at anyways. Girl taking our order missed an item so that was also a bummer. Wouldn't come back. There are definitely much better locations out there which is unfortunate being that it's located in East Los.

Many options, with generous portions. Overall all tacos are full of meat and well seasoned. You're gonna pay a brick and mortar prices, so slightly pricier than a food truck around $3/per.Of the tacos I tried: Asada, Adobada, Cabeza, Birria, Lengua, the asada was the most disappointing one and the adobada was the best. Note that the lengua is a bit chewier than other places, if you into that texture.Taco Azteca Lengua: wrapped in a cactus or pepper of some sort, very unique and something I haven't really had before

Tijuanazo is a very popular authentic Tijuana style taqueria in Tijuana,Mexico, but now Tijuanazo have it's first U.S. restaurant in the united states. Tijuana style tacos and other cuisine from Tijuana,Mexico have become very popular with their tacos using simple ingredients and fresh ingredients and hand made corn tortillas from scratch. My wife and I came to Tijuanazo in East L.A. to try out their Tijuana style tacos and other items be very popular in Tijuanazo,Mexico. We came here for the first time, but the doors were closed and a sign say we ran out of meat we couldn't believe it the restaurant ran out of meat the we decided come back again. The door was open then we step in and we look at menu display and we decided order we order two carne asada burrito and two carne asada tacos. They call my name and they brought our food to the table. The size of the burrito are average size and the cost is $12 a burrito. The flavor of the burrito we think more flavors in meat it haveva good smoke flavor to the meat but I think they add guacamole in the burrito they ask us if we want sauce in the burrito we say no but we add the salsa on the side. The carne asada tacos were incredible good so much flavors in tacos adding the guacamole makes the taco so good. Overall we enjoy the food especially the carne asada tacos we need to come back order different items.

I was so excited to try this spot after all the hype I've heard for it but my expectations fell a little flat. I tried a variety of menu items and had one reoccurring issue with their meat; it all tasted bland and almost flavorless. I tried chorizo, carne asada, birria, and Al pastor but I felt like the flavor that meat had was from the guac. Even the salsa was disappointing and watery, it felt like the only flavor it had was spice. The horchata was very mid too. The service was great and the inside was clean with parking easily available, but there is so many better taco options in this area. I wouldn't say the food was horrible, but nothing special.

Tijuanazo is a taco lover's paradise! Their food is bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and has just the right amount of spice to keep you coming back for more. The tacos are incredible, but the real standout is their mulitas seriously don't skip them! Make sure to get them fully loaded with everything for a mouthwatering experience that will blow you awayThe quality, authenticity, and attention to detail here are unmatched, and honestly, it's better than anything I've had in Tijuana. Every bite takes you on a flavorful journey that's impossible to forget. If you're looking for the best tacos and authentic Mexican street food Tijuanazo is where it's at. Highly recommend them

I've passed by this place a few times now driving up and down Atlantic but was always skeptical about stopping in. Boy have I been missing out! One of my friends also informed me this is actually a chain from Mexico which I did not know! They do Tijuana style tacos from what I was told. So I came here on a Saturday night and the place was packed full to the brim!Heard they are known for Adobada so got myself a burrito filled with Adobada! The meat is really interesting tasting. It's a mix of Al Pastor-esque flavors but with a slight spicy kick at the end. I thought it was decent but I actually liked the flavors from the asada. Ordered a mulita and some vampiros for siblings to try and they quite enjoyed it. My only gripe was when the lady handed me my order, I did not check the bag and came home without any salsa. That was a bummer! Can't say I'd go out of my way to come here to try the tacos. Price was okay at about $4 a taco. If you're passing by and curious about TJ Style tacos, give it a go! Overall give this a try for Tijuana style tacos is my consensus.

I visited Tijuanazo for the first time this past Wednesday, 11/20/2024 at around 8:00 PM for a late dinner. My husband and I got the following (prices as of 11/2024):+ 4 Adobada Tacos - $15 ($3.75 each)- We ordered this with everything but one taco was missing the pina lol. The flavors were rich and the sauce + pineapple balanced everything. I'm not sure if you can get some extra pineapple on the side, but I'd prob do that next time. I love this style of tacos since they are reminiscent of tacos el Gordo...but with a different flavor. However, I still prefer tacos el gordo, but these will still hit the spot if I'm craving that. + Cabeza Torta - $10 ThThis was good, but I felt like it was a little bland compared to the adobada tacos. The cabeza meat was tender but the torta was not that big and prepared a little different than I'm used to. The bread is thinner (less carby), and I couldn't taste much, if any, mayo. My husband liked this, but I'd pass on this next time. +Adobada Quesadilla - $5.50 This comes open-faced - not expecting that. Pretty heavy, but still tasty. +Asada Vampiro $4.25This was good, not too memorable but good. I liked the guac on top. +Horchata $3.75 (+ $.50 refills)- Horchata was so tasty - it's been a minute since I've had one. We ended up getting 2 refills of jamaica and that was smackin' too. So refreshing, just wish the cup was bit bigger.Customer Service:Shout out to Rodrigo, who helped my husband out with our orders. He was friendly and patient. Seating:Indoor Seating is available. There are not too many tables, but we got a seat with no problem. Parking:Limited parking in the back + street parking was available. We parked in the lot across the street.Overall, it was still a great experience. My review leans more of a 4.5 vs 4. Just note that the food leans more on the pricier side but they were still tasty.

NOT A KEEPER!!!With So many Tijuana style tacos stands around the ELA/Boyle Heights area this place didn't stand out from the competition. I'm all for new restaurants especially when it comes to Tijuana style food. We tried this 11/26/24 for dinner and I asked the cashier to put the onions and cilantro on the side and he stated the cooks won't do that. I ordered a Asada Mulita two tacos of Abodado and a taco of tripa. The tacos are small for $3.75 and didn't come with guacamole. The asada Mulita was small. The Horchata was barely passable. I won't return I just needed to check it out and check it off my list.
