There is nothing like a great burger. Love this new burger spot. The burgers are fresh with great seasoning and is the perfect size. Now the fries were my favorite. I got cheese melted on my order of fries. Everything was so good. I hate I didn't get a shake. There is always next time. My daughter kept asking me to drive to the Grove to try your burger spot. Glad she did. We don't have anything like this in Valencia, CA. So we are always driving to LA to try new restaurants. Thank you all for making our experience amazing with great customer service. See you all soon!!

Hey Yelp family, today was quite an adventure! I've had my eye on The Win-Dow for a while and was excited to finally give it a try.Since this location is at The Grove, I highly recommend planning ahead for parking if you're ordering in person. Alternatively, you can pre-order online, which is what I did. I placed my order at 4:46 PM, selecting the next available pick-up slot at 5:15 PM.When I arrived at the pick-up window at 5:10 PM, I asked if my order was ready. The staff member told me it wasn't, so I waited a few more minutes before checking again. When I returned, I found that my order had actually been sitting underneath the soda machine the entire time. The Food - A Mixed ExperienceLet's start with the positives--the burger was fantastic! It was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The smash-grilled onions, melted cheese, and their secret sauce elevated it to the next level. Every bite was satisfying, and I paired it with a Coke Zero, which made for a great combo. Now for the downside--the fries were a huge letdown. They were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, which was disappointing considering the $15 combo price. Fresh, crispy fries would have made this meal perfect.Final ThoughtsThe ambiance is simple, with an outdoor patio adjacent to The Beverly Center, making it a nice spot for a casual bite. While the burger alone is worth trying, I can't say the same for the fries. If I return, I'd probably skip the combo and stick to just the burger or trying the chicken sandwich and kale salad for sure.Would I recommend it? Yes, but with some reservations. If you're craving a solid, flavorful burger, The Win-Dow delivers. Just be mindful of the fries and double-check your order to ensure everything is fresh.

I just finished eating my first order where I bought way more than I could eat to try everything that interested me. The line was short today, but it was definitely busy AF. I ordered to go but I ate some of it there when a table opened up to give it a fair experience and review. 1. Cheeseburger- 3 out of 5. Nothing special ok for the price. 2. Chicken sandwich - 1 out of 5. Really gross. Tasted and smelled like old oil. Got worse as I ate it. They should remove from the menu or fix it. 3. Fries - 3 out of 5. Nothing special. Probably bought frozen. The 60 cent jalapeño aioli wasn't anything great either. 4. Kale salad - 4 out of 5 - the star item-but not great enough to crave it. It needed more dressing. Croutons were a nice touch. So will I be back? I don't think so. Maybe I'd get a cheeseburger in a hunger pinch if I was already there and starving because under $5 is good and then I'd grab a kale salad but I'm sure extra dressing is $4.

Wow I was so impressed. We were at the Grove and I've heard good things about this place and it definitely didn't disappoint! The items on the menu were so cheap!! For a chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, and fries it was around $16. You order at a literal window which made it a lot easier and convenient. There is a seating area where you can sit and stand after you order. For the food, we got the chicken sandwich which was nice and thin and had a crispy exterior. The flavor was something I've never had before. The slaw added a nice crunch and acidity to the dish. The hamburger was very good and tasted similar to FTW, but a lot cheaper. If I had to choose, I would come here since it's high quality food at a lower price. The fries were nice and crispy and were still fluffy in the inside. The fries were also not too salty. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised about this place and would definitely come here again if I was craving a burger! The table next to us also got hand dipped ice cream cones which looked delicious, but be prepared to get messy :)

One of my favorite burgs in this city! Patties are thick but small. I definitely wanted another one after killing a double cheeseburger. Fries aren't anything special but they're still good! I was surprised by this spot since I've tried so many burgers in this city. Made it on my top 3 list! 1. Easy street2. Chris n eddy's3.The win-Dow 4. For the win 5. Irvs

For the convenience, price point, service, and food, it's a five star for me!I work near this area and though this place is foodie heaven, it gets pretty pricey if you want to eat out. In comes Win-dow LA in the exterior area of the steakhouse, American Beauty. For convenience, I order my food at my office for pick-up, in case there is a long line. (FYI- it is not crowded or busy during the weekdays but walk-up orders tend to take less than 10 minutes.)Their burgers are my favorite kind- smashed patties with melted cheese and a soft bun. Fries comes extra and one order fills you up. It is enough for sharing. The surprise star is the shaved kale salad for only $7.50. This salad is so citrusy and refreshing, I couldn't get enough of it! You can take your food to the seating area a ways away in the Farmers Market, or you can grab and out door table, seated or standing, to enjoy your lunch as they play old school hip hop through the speakers.

I was thrilled to see the Win-Dow finally opening up near the Grove. I think it's called the Win-Dow because you order at a window. They have some tables outside the major restaurant (American Beauty). I was pretty excited for the smashburger and it was indeed promising. The patty had a perfect crisp to it and it wasn't too salty. The potato bun paired well. It comes with raw onions and I'm not a fan of raw onions because for smashburgers I prefer grilled onions as it adds a charred sweetness to the burger. But I appreciate the sauce to burger ratio here. Their pickles are thick though, and crunchy so love that. The fries were nothing special and they could use more salt. Overall delicious spot and I will be back again. When compared to For the Win (another hot smashburger joint in LA), I do prefer the Win-Dow.I do recommend to go with a double cheeseburger as the single feels small especially if you come hungry!

Is the viral $4 burger worth it? I came here with a friend for lunch to catch up. You order at an outside window, and a burger + fries + 3% health fee will run you approximately $9. There is outside seating available on the side of the window with 10 potential tables. Cheeseburger 4/5, I liked the bun and meat and pickles. The absence of tomato and lettuce is meant to keep the prices low but I would have preferred more veggies in this beyond the pickles and onions. French fries 3/5, standard fries, more crunchy than soft, not very salty

Been wanting to try this place since they opened at the Grove. Had a cheeseburger and fries. While the burger was good, there were quite a few misses that made for a lackluster experience. I asked for cheese to be added to my fries. If they couldn't do that, they should have just said so. I literally had a slice of cheese (unmelted!) placed on top of my fries. I asked for the house sauce that comes on the burger on the side. It didn't come at all with the order. And when we went up to the window and asked for it, they tried to charge me for it. Also, all the tables were dirty. It's not like there was a rush and they couldn't get to the tables. I could see the staff playing on their phones through the pickup window. And last but not least, I'm not a fan of paper straws--especially when they come with a plastic cup. Probably wouldn't try this place again with all the other options at the Farmer's Market.
