4+ smallish cocktail lounge/ bar located in Hollywood conveniently located right across the street from the Hollywood Palladium. The few times I visited was around visiting the Palladium for concerts so the vibe was lively each time.Quick service and solid prices - there was a time where I had a somewhat rare pour of bourbon here for a relatively low price. My last visit here was before a show that me and three other friends were going to across the street and stopped here to kill some time and grab some drinks. They make some pretty good cocktails as well! I think I got an old fashioned.I can't say much about the food here, because I don't think I ever ordered any food here during my visits. Parking for this spot (and Palladium) is pretty tight but not impossible. If you are willing to walk a few blocks and depending on what night you are here, I think you should be able to find street parking no problem. There's always the option of the paid lot or parking when going to a show.

I've tried the Well on two occasions. Once on a Saturday and another time on a Sunday night with a holiday on Monday.I ordered food both times. I preferred the tacos and stuffed potato skins over the burger and fries I ordered on my second time at the Well. The pretzel bun was too think and hard to manage. The steak fries were suppwr thick as well. Closer to potato wedges and cold in the middle. They were huge as if a potato was cut into 6 pieces. I ended up talking my meal home and trying to recook the potatoes and locate bread for my burger. I really wanted fries age couldn't recover them at home. Being that I hadn't eaten, I was super tipsy on my second visit and I don't recall if I enjoyed myself. I didn't stay long. However, on the first visit the music was great. There was a DJ who surprisingly set up while there on a Saturday. It's a dark small place. I plan on trying it again.. probably two more times Ave trying more menu options before making my full assessment.

Cool bar/lounge in Hollywood with a parking structure right next door for $7. Music was great (by DJ Devaux). Food was good and drinks were plenty. We had the wings and short rib tacos. We had a section reserved for my best friends birthday by the gallery wall which I loved!!! Would definitely come back. @travel_lifestyle_chowGreat spot!!

Aptly named, the Well is a dark bar with a sort of basement feel. My friend and I had cocktails and classic bar food. All was reasonably good. .

Dark, windowless spot (I wouldn't really call it a "dive") right near the Palladium. It's always busy and well-air-conditioned, nice for popping in on a hot summer day. The beer selection is good, cocktails are good, food is good. I always come here for a quick nip before getting in line for a Palladium show.

"Let's do the time warp again...it's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right," right into The Well...located demurley across the street from The Hollywood Palladium...it's a great local hang for the neighborhood to grab a cocktail/food before a show. I dare you to step inside...the music, lighting, decor and vibe will pull you in and keep you there for hours. My new "happy" place in Hollywood...the bar is hopping with lots of mixers shaking, laughter, pouring and sipping. We cozied up to the bar and Kirstie made our drinks. Loved her look and her drinks were even better! All the bartenders were rockin their orders. Plenty of big leather comfy stools surrounded the entire circumference of the bar as well as leather high top booths. Vince, one of the owners, came out and introduced himself to us. He has owned The Well with his partner James since 2001. It was a private bar in the early 70's. *Metered Street parking available if you can find it. Otherwise plenty of parking lots - one located right next to The Well. *Great music which is always a plus! *prices are comparable to most bar/lounges in LA

It's a solid 3 for me!Very nice and chill spot. I have been here once or twice before, pre Covid. It is designed in a circle so it give the space a nice flow. Bar is smacked in the middle, you can't miss it. I came into tonight for a friends bday. All bartenders except one was personable. Our group couldn't deal with the horrible bartenders attitude and we decided to go somewhere. I asked him if he didn't want to be here. He said you want me to fake a smile.... later I saw him chasing some girl he gave all his attention too that night. Dude your the bartender, people are watching you!If I was to see him again, I would turn back out the bar. Oh yea, I tried their tacos it was good, they were charging for the sauces even when i had gaucaomole removed. She eventually worked it out. This places seems like it could be a regular spot but the guy bartender, left a bad taste in everyone's mouth$23 for a Hennessy side car

My family wanted to check this place out. Once we went in, the ambiance was pretty calm. It was really dark though, but nice. The music and growth were more for the older crowd. They played r&b, and we stayed for about 1 hr and left. The food was fresh, not too expensive but flavorful. The wings i would recommend and the chicken tenders.

An intimate lounge/ bar located in Hollywood just across the street from the Hollywood Palladium. I haven't sampled the food in years but the drinks and ambience are always a vibe. Thursday nights have a little more diversity while Friday and Saturday are a little more traditional. Happy Hour never disappoints!
