Love this breakfast and brunch cafe especially because they make their own chicken apple sausage in house from scratch daily!!!Apart from my go to chicken Apple sausage I also like their power scramble. So many veggies including peas so unique!!! I've had several of their pastries and they're all so soft and moist. The blueberry poppy seed bundt cake is one of my favorites. Highly recommend this breakfast and brunch cafe when in Atwater/Los Feliz. It also has a lovely outdoor seating area right by the golf course!!!

As a bread connoisseur, I love a great bakery. I have been on a pastry kick lately, and decided to give a new one a try. I ordered delivery, but I appreciate the care they took packaging my items in the box. Except cinnamon being everywhere, I couldn't complain. I ordered the cinnamon donut, fightin almond cake, chocolate brownie with walnuts, brioche cinnamon roll, and the sour cream coffee cake. Everything was so thick, even warmed it was still a lot to chew through. The donut tasted like dry slightly sweet cornbread with cinnamon on top; same consistency too. The almond cake had a nice spice to it but it was sort of dry or maybe it's the flour being used. The brownie was okay. The cinnamon roll was not at all what I expected, horrible choice in brioche. The icing was good, however. The sour cream coffee cake was probably the best, must warm it for sure to take away from how thick it is. You really can't eat the items all in one sitting. As in each item, needs to be cut into pieces because it's so thick. I cannot stress that enough.

The Village Bakery and Cafe is one you should stop in like today. An extensive menu of morning and afternoon eats, treats, and beverages that will have you curious for more with the simple yet cool warm decor that's inviting with a slice of home. This cozy eatery has been gracing the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles off Los Feliz Blvd since 2009 between Garden Avenue and Edenhurst Avenue with parking being street, typically metered, however you can luck in to some more residential with few restrictions, even more so on weekends.Stopping in after a long walk and hike in the later morning/early afternoon we were able to order pretty promptly up front. You'll get a letter for you table if you choose to dine plus the choice of outdoor or indoor seating. You can find a table for one or two though also shared tables and benches are a fun option as well.Water dispenser, coffee enhancers (cream, sugar, etc), condiments, napkins and a variety of essentials are at a station in the dining area. The make everything well, not to mention fresh. You won't wait too long for that first bite. From Salads, Sandwiches and Sides to an lush breakfast menu - The V Bakery meets Cafe has plenty for everybody. Gluten free options, vegan options, vegetarian too, they've got you! Their Vegan BLTA is a ten out of ten (avocado, tomato, tempeh bacon, homemade veganaise, and lettuce on sourdough + toasted is the way to go). My guy who introduced me to yet another great spot had eggs and toast loaded up (I think this may have been one of the specials). The Village B & C also offers catering, pre-made holiday meals, as well as pre-packaged noms for you to heat (instructions provided) at home, including a plethora of baked goods to go.Pup friendly, good for groups, and families with kids.Free Wi-Fi, loads of kindness, care and great service.Q Tip:It's a great space but they are limited in capacity - some of the chairs on the inside and tables along the wall as are a touch too close together, thankful nobody was directly behind us so it was easier to get in and out. If you can make a little room for yourself feel free too (we pulled our table down a bit). Check out this Atwater gem from 8am to 4pm daily.Don't forget a pastry to go.

Our family has moved on to a new alphabet journey. This time we ate doing the ABC City Fieldtrips. We started with A for Atwater Village. Our fun day began with breakfast here. We had 7 in our party and we're able to find seating at a long table for all of us. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table.4/5 - Assorted Goodies from the Bakery4/5 - Mini Everything Bagel and Lox4/5 - Pumpkin Spice Latte 2/5 - Atwater Special Breakfast: Grilled polenta cake topped with parmesan cheese, scrambled eggs, spinach, tomatoes and chopped bacon. 1/5 - Breakfast Sandwich: 2 fried eggs and cheddar cheese on a toasted challah bun. Dry. I couldn't eat more than a few bitesMaybe we didn't order the right breakfast items. If we had stuck to pastries and coffee, the review would have been higher.

Went in on a weekend afternoon to grab coffee. They had several prepared foods and lots of pastries on display. Got a latte. The latte was actually pretty decent. But the service was lacking. I placed my order, paid and waited for my drink. Waited for about five minutes. There were no other customers and the workers were just cleaning or standing around so I asked if my latte was being prepared. The girl, who was just standing around was like "oh that must be your order" as she points to the order form hanging on the wall. And she goes to make it. No apologies. Also, the other pictures show that there are labels for each baked item but when I went, there were no labels so it was hard to tell what each item was.

This place has the best dang baked goods I've ever put in my mouth. I recently had to switch to GF and was skeptical of the GF orange spice donut but I've thought about it every day since I've been there. I can't wait to go back.

A friend lives right around the corner and has suggested we go here for coffee on numerous occasions. I finally caved in. It's been awhile since I've had their mediocre gluten free offerings. My lemon scone crumbled at first bite and it was sickly sweet and the chai I had was the powdery kind. I did buy my teen a sprinkle sugar cookie and a Cookie Monster macaroon. He said they were alright but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly, service was on point and the parking God allowed me to park at a nearby meter so that in itself was a win.

Came here with some friends for mid week lunch and what a great selection of food. All my friends would of ordered the dishes over again, next time they visited. I had the Atwater special and it was perfect, did add hot sauce. We also got baked goods, the chocolate brownie and s'mores bar. Both were not mega rich in sweetness, so it was tasty without a bite full of sugar.Would come back again. Plenty of inside seating. Meter Parking on the streets

I come here quite frequently for breakfast after a long run at Griffith park. The food is reliably good and there's always hot, self-serve coffee that's easily accessible. Today I went for lunch and had their egg in a hole. It came with salad with sliced fennel, a nice touch. Servers are always friendly. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
