The Town Cafe

Traditional type diner. Good food simple and sweet. Service is absolutely on point. If you want to enjoy the heyday of the diner service and nicely prepared food... don't pass this place up!

Excellent service all of them are fantastic at greeting people and making them feel welcomed. The American breakfast was good. Pancakes were fluffy. Lots of locals come here as I was observing who was walking in. I ordered a chorizo burrito and didn't really like it because it wasn't really like the chorizo I was expecting from a Mexican ran restaurant. So, won't be coming here for that. However do love that it's local and better than the commercial options.

When one thinks of a Southern California diner, this is what you might envision. Solid menu, great value for money, and some of the best, blue collar, coffee to ever get dispensed from a Bunn coffee pot. Amazing, we will be back the next time we are in Burbank

I Was Expecting a Typical Diner, But Experienced ChaosI called ahead to find out the wait time for a party of 3, and I was told there was no wait. Once we arrived, there was some confusion because there was a sign that said to seat yourself, but also a wait list sign up sheet. We were not the only guests who were confused by this. After being seated we were brought some menus and told by staff that someone would be taking our order, but they were a bit busy (I should've taken this as a sign to leave). Our waiter came about 15 minutes later to take our order. We waited, waited, and WAITED. I had forgotten at what time we arrived so I went to check my "check in" which said an hour ago. We were not the only people with this issue, everyone around was waiting for their food. The food FINALLY came and it was good, but the whole experience made me not want to go back. This place only had 2 cooks and a few waiters. PLEASE HIRE MORE STAFF. It would help run the establishment better, but most importantly have the staff more at ease. They all looked stressed and we're running around (LITERALLY). It was hard to even be upset because they were clearly overworked.

I loved it. This is my kind of spot. Looking forward to the next time I'm in Sunland.

Good home cooking breakfast with that fun old school diner feel! A little pricey in my opinion but still good

Some good friends of ours invited us to have breakfast with them at Town Cafe. They told us about the place as they go there often. Besides the good food, he likes to play California Hot Spot while they have their meals. We met them there and the place is quaint and lively. The waitress, Ida, was very friendly and patient. The food was very good and my steak and eggs was scrumptious. My wife's chorizo and eggs made her happy and she's not a big fan of the item. It turns out many regulars go to this restaurant to dine and play Hot Spot. I guess in Vegas, it's called Keno. Anyway, I didn't want to miss out on the fun so my friend explained the game to me and I played along. I'm not a gambler by any means but this was fun and it made for a nice experience at breakfast. We will go back some day, most likely to meet our friends there. The food is very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I noticed many construction workers coming in for the hearty breakfast and lunch plates. Dining here and getting a good meal is a sure bet.

The food was delicious and the service was incomparable. This place has a great, comfortable vibe and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I love this place. Good food, great service, lots of parking space and clean establishment. This our go to place for breakfast.

Racist atmosphere. Never going back there. Food is great but customers (locals) staring at you while you're eating made me very uncomfortable. Made me feel unwelcomed.Thanks to the servers. Excellent job!
