Went for valentine day. Atmosphere and service was excellent. They even have gluten free bread. It's a bit pricey and some dishes are quite small. The food was perfection which made up for the value proposition. Scallops 9.5/10 (only 3 scallops) Lamb 7/10 (cooked well, but not that tasty) Prawns 8/10Lemon cheesecake with ice cream 9/10Chocolate mouse bar 8/10

I took my daughter to Beverly Hills to see their beautiful Christmas display and ran across the Terrace. This is a hidden gem! First off the prices are very reasonable, in a man area where almost all the restaurant are $$$$.The view is of a gorgeous garden, a beautiful Christmas lights display, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the filet mignon, it was cooked to perfection. I was so delighted with this meal. Would come back again.

I've always had the strong belief that hotel restaurants were a scam and just overpriced food. The Terrace at The Maybourne totally disproves that for me.I had credits from my credit card and was able to dine at The Terrace. For lunch I ordered the scallops, truffle fries, and a non alcoholic espresso martini. The scallops were on the smaller portion size, but was so dang tasty. The truffles fries were out of this world and way too addictive. I was meh on the non alcoholic espresso martini and could have done without it. I also had breakfast here and you absolutely must get the huevos rancheros. Gosh, it was so delicious and the crisp from the tostada has my mouth watering. Their fruit is also really good and is peak ripeness. Highly suggest to sit outdoor when you can because the space is gorgeous and you get to see the beautiful fountain.

I can't begin to tell you what an amazing and delicious brunch experience. We enjoyed yesterday at The Terrace. Every single item that we ordered was amazingly delicious. The most unique item on the menu is there rendition of hashbrowns, which were deliciously fried and mixed with quinoa amongst other ingredients. The butter itself is different from any other restaurant I've been to in Los Angeles. The gym is a special French Preserve that is unparalleled. Sitting outside allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather in the Beverly Hills area and our server was incredibly informative and available.Definitely going back here, hope to see you !You can thank me later.

The ambience and the service were great. The Terrace is at the base of the hotel and overlooks a park/courtyard. We sat outside but there is also inside seating. Our server Marchon was respectful, friendly, knowledgeable. A very nice young man. In this part of LA, people like to bring their dogs so you must be ok with that to eat here. Each time someone walks by, the non-service animal at the next table barks. No complaints about the food, drinks, etc. Quite good. Just not worth $50 an entree.

Back here again a few weeks ago. That means a lot. That means this place is consistently good, and I've actually been back 2x after writing my first review. As usual, service is very courteous, relaxed, and attentive without being overbearing. The patio is a great spot to sit and people watch and what makes it even better is that you can bring your dog. This time they brought out dog treats for us, which they haven't done on occasions past.I'm not giving it a five because some of the menu items are not showing enough consistency, but that's about it. In this case, I'm referring to the charred broccolini, which, while still good, was definitely not on the charred side. The chocolate dessert was just good-but the flavors on the plate were not very distinguishable from one another. I found the wild mushrooms to be good but not great-not deeply caramelized to bring out all the umami and deeper flavor you get from that technique. The Puglian burrata salad was definitely a standout, and the Caesar salad made with baby gem lettuce is always a favorite as well. This is a place I will get back to again and again, as it never disappoints but might slightly miss the mark on some dishes.

AMAZING AFTERNOON TEA EXPERIENCE!My friend hosted a gathering last week, and we had the Afternoon Tea experience at The Terrace. It's located at the Maybourne in Beverly Hills. The ambiance is very social, with views of the terrace. Our servers were kind and attentive. I've never attended a real tea event before, so I was excited! I ordered the lemongrass tea, which was yummy. I do wish I knew the best condiments to add to it, because I feel the honey I added didn't quite do it justice. Now let's get to the FOOD! I don't know where to start! I absolutely loved the presentation and taste of the pastries and sandwiches. The scones were delicious, with butter and jam to top. The sandwiches were delectable, my favorite being the SMOKED SALMON followed by the Jidori Chicken salad! They were extremely delicious! The only one I was impartial to was the pea miso mousse. It felt like it was missing a sharp flavor, such as tomato, or cheddar. As for the tarts/pastries, they were ALL delectable! I will absolutely have to come back for this experience again! Even better if the menu is seasonal, as I'd love to try new sandwiches and pastries! Totally recommend!

Late review*** Enjoyed my lunch here. Went to celebrate anniversary and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert and granola to go. The restaurant is located at The Maybourne Hotel. It is dog friendly. I brought my dog and they provided water bowl, bed and cookies for him!Parking was easy. Parking structure right nx to it provides 2 hour free parking during day time. Valet available as well. Friendly and attentive service. Good ambiance and gorgeous view. Nice outdoor seating. Branzino was delicious. Crispy skin with tender meat. And the tomato sauce on top was amazing, super flavorful. Squid ink pasta was good with Thai Basil but the squid was a bit over cooked and chopped into tiny pieces. I also liked the truffle corn agnolotti as well. A little sweet with hint of truffle. The only dish I didn't enjoy was the smoked trout salad, the dressing was a bit overwhelming. Nice place to go on a date.

We had Terrace for Valentine's Day. Contextually, i understand it will be slammed. We got there and got seated outdoors on a cold evening. There were heaters but I'd like if we had the option to request either in it out during reservation or check in. The cold wind chill really put a hamper on the ambiance as I was snuggling in my coat and scarf for warmth. There was an outdoor heater but it wasn't enough. It took a minute but the server finally came by and took drink orders. I ordered the Pim, a sweeter beverage but it unfortunately lacked a reasonable alcohol content. It tasted strongly of ginger beer and lacked any punch. I'm blessed to be a lightweight and get tipsy of one drink, and even on an empty stomach slamming this cocktail to feel the slightest bit of warmth, achieved nothing. Disappointed. The bread and butter left much to be desired. The bread looked fresh out the oven but lacked any significant texture and crisp. I was under the assumption that it was reheated from another day.Our appetizers came out, the tartar and burrata. Presentation was nice but nothing to write home about. I got a bite of food in and was eager to lay into my entree, the short rib pasta. It took 45 minutes from finishing my appetizer to receiving my entree. In the meantime, I couldn't help but notice the table who sat well after we ordered, received their appetizers and entrees much sooner than us. I noticed one of the adjacent diners had the short rib pasta, the same dish I ordered, and it looked appetizing. After 10 more minutes, I asked our server what the delay was and he mentioned they were backed up for Valentine's Day. A short handed excuse because the table next to us was wiping their mouths after their entrees. Finally the entrees come, and they are played quite nice. The cameras ate first and then it was our turn. Sadly the pasta was a bust. The flavor of the short rib was literally drowned out with whisky. The menu did mention whisky but it feels like someone splashed a shot of Hennessy over the dish before sending it out. It felt awkward to complain because I didn't want to wait 45 more minutes for another dish while my wife was finishing hers. I regretfully ate just so I don't have to go to an in n out afterwards, jt was already 9:30pm, and all I wanted to do was go to a warm home. Finally, redemption. The tiramisu was heavenly. It instantly turned the night around for us. Two big dollops and we wiped the plate clean. We were considering having sweets elsewhere because of our dining experience but took a chance. Best decision of the night. Godsent.Overall disappointing experience. Paid a big premium for a Beverly Hills dining experience for mediocre cuisine. Arguably, we paid a down payment for the best tiramisu in Los Angeles.

Exceptional as ever. Have eaten both in their inside dining room, and on the terrace, alfresco. Dining room excels for dinner, and terrace for brunch. They were kind enough to squeeze me in without a reservation for Sunday brunch. Love their huevos rancheros. Fantastic service, amazing views and people-watching. A forever favorite. Highly recommend.
