Great place to unwind and hear live piano music during the holidays! Great food and nice service... Ambience is great... Perfect place for a first or second date.

What an elegant brunch experience with fresh French pastries that are simply delightful. The espresso martini was a standout--perfectly balanced with just the right amount of liquor and ingredients. A sophisticated spot for a relaxing brunch!

5 stars for the ambiance hence why we chose this place to discuss luxury realestate however very average below with the mussels we ordered. 3.5 for the service. 2 for the food which was a disappointment. The bread was $18 and fresh The Diet Coke was $9 a bottle so my expectations were a bit high not to mention the $20 parking fee with a validation. Very high ticketed lunch meeting. Our salad had more flavor than the main dish and the presentation was beautiful. Much to my disappointment the mussels were in a very bland sauce. I could smell the aroma of the saffron but I wasn't getting any flavor from the sauce. Very watered down. They didn't have spoons and took away my fork much too soon without giving me new utensils from taking away the salad. I am sorry but I was disappointed and expected a lot more since I was entertaining a client.

*** It seems like this spot gets a bad rap. ***Its current below 4-star rating is absurd imo.Guests are affable, friendly, some celebrities.Staff is genteel, attentive and quite pleasant.Ambiance is bright, airy & quite comfortable. So as far as service goes definitely ... 5-starsSmoked salmon benedict on point ... 5-starsBlueberry pancakes were superb ... 5-starsEspresso and french press coffee ... 4-starsI fail to see why many yelpers hating on this.It would seem that it is mostly due to prices?Sure, it is pricey here... hello, this is in Bel Air.The typical breakfast entree costs ~$40 here.If that's not to your liking then just do not go.*** Otherwise it's a great spot for brunch. ***

New head chef OOOOO wow!! He's really wonderful and just what they needed. Updated menu. I honestly loved Wolfgang but it had been years and it was time. I had the most amazing meal- same exceptional service and now a new offering from a chef that was at biciclette and French laundry- ummm wow ha! You can tell ;) can't wait to go back absolute dream. They also added a new coffee shop the chef also services and it's probably the best addition to the hotel in years just have to try that too!

Chef Joe Garcia did it again! The dinner menu was absolutely amazing, with every bite being a delight. The Tuna Crudo, Truffle Pasta, Seabass, and Lamb were particular standouts--each dish was perfectly executed and bursting with flavor.Don't forget to save room for dessert; they were incredible and the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. The ambiance was romantic and intimate, making it the perfect setting for a special evening. To top it off, the service was excellent, attentive, and added to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

I used to go to the Hotel Bel-Air for all kinds of special occasions growing up. Graduations (of all levels of school), birthdays etcMy husband and I went there not long ago because we were considering getting married there.TBH, the restaurant is different now.The food was okay but not spectacular. The service was fine. The setting will always be second to none.Walking through the grounds is incredibly special..Go to see the swans .. they are just beautiful. But maybe go for happy hour..Enjoy!

I had the most incredible experience the other night visiting the restaurant at Hotel Bel Air for the first time! The drinks were fantastic (I got two decaf espresso martinis) and my sister and I split the filet mignon - oh my god it was the BEST steak I've ever had in my life! I couldn't believe something could taste so amazing, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it ever since haha. We had absolutely amazing service from Kellan, he took great care of us and was super friendly and accommodating. The ambience was also really cozy and festive for Christmas. I'd highly recommend coming here!

Very average food. Considering the price one could legitimately say pretty bad food. The desert chef is about decent. The service is not great either considering the place! The only high is the ridiculous price!
