This dimly lit gem offers the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with a touch of sophistication. What truly sets this place apart is its incredible selection of drinks. Their menu features an impressive array of craft cocktails, local brews, and fine wines, catering to every taste. The bartenders are skilled and happy to customize a drink if you're looking for something unique. The seasonal food menu was another highlight. Each dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It's clear they put a lot of care into sourcing quality ingredients and crafting a menu that complements the drink offerings. Street parking can be challenging, use the Beverly Connection parking lot across the street for a fee.

Stopped in before our reservation at Manpuku. We always pass this place and our first time here we were greeted by a really sweet bartender. We ordered two margaritas. The ambience is friendly. Seems like a place where people network. Would definitely come back and I think it's a good bar to check out.

It is the perfect late-night spot for well-priced, heavy-handed drinks. Great prices and tasty food. No substitutions on food, no utensils, and no to-go orders. Dartboards, pool and a patio-ish area.

The Phoenix opened up on La Cienega's Restaurant Row back in 2012 and is considered to be a whiskey/bourbon bar although they do serve various cocktails, beers and wines. They have well over 50 types of whiskey/bourbons ranging from states, countries and prices ($300+ for a 1oz pour anyone?). I stopped in a couple weeks ago with a group of colleagues/friends and the personal and friendly service was top notch. The place has a nice modern touch and feel and decorated/styled well. During this holiday season I found some nice winter touches. Kay was in charge that night whom I met and took charge in putting together a seating area for our group. She was pleasant, personable and managed things well. Mateo in the bar was super cool and friendly as well and made great drinks. There's a nice looking open area patio in the back with a huge screen. It would be cool to do an event there. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and the food although the food menu leaves a bit to be desired but had some things such as various flavored wings, French fires, chips and salsa, a pretzel, some tacos and some other things. We ordered a couple orders or wings, fries and pretzel and all were enjoyed. Parking wise, try street parking if able but otherwise I would park in The Beverly Connection parking and pay the fee.

I was bar hopping and this spot popped up. A solid bar and in the future I'd like to try their restaurant.I had a few drinks at the bar and the bartender was real cool and the atmosphere was very relaxed with a toned down music selection.I'd definitely come back here again in the future.

Visited here last night for the first time. It's a cute little spot. We sat at the bar. Great service! Greeted promptly and offered a menu. We got some garlic cheese stick egg rolls that were very good. Then we got our main courses, a burger it was cooked well, flavorful, came with a ton of fries and the steak frites was also cooked perfectly, with a nice chimichurri and again a ton of fries. Would definitely go back.

Waited a while at the bar to order a drink. Went outside to sit and saw 2 rats running across the bar. Ummmmmmm no. Got out of there quick.

Comfortable, darkly lit, and slightly trendy bar that serves great craft cocktails. My favorites are the Hot Girl Autumn and the Fancy G & T. The Hot Girl Autumn is a great winter drink make with tequila, guava, lemon and a bit of cinnamon. It reminds me of the holidays. I asked for less guava as I don't like sweet drinks and it was just right. There's a tv playing sports behind the bar, and a really nice outdoor area in the back with a large screen tv. I haven't tried the food so this review is for cocktails only.

First time trying The Phoenix and it's definitely a nice hand out spot. It seems to be pretty hidden as you would not expect a bar to be hidden across from the 3rd Street Ross and TJ Maxx.Once you walk in it's pretty dim, head towards the back and it's a neat little outdoor spot with tables and chairs. Almost like a beer garden vibe. There's a variety of food you can order and really great drinks. They door beer, wine and cocktails here. Outside when crowded, it can get pretty noisy to talk over one another at times, but still a nice place to hang and unwind. Had the chance to try Harambe's Revenge. Rum is one of my favorite liquors because it's used to creative various sweet and fruity drinks. The presentation was like a showstopper! Topped with a leaf and infused with pineapple and a hint of lime. Drinks are strong, so no skimping here! Amazing bartenders here that really know how to make great cocktails. Food here pairs very well with the drinks and a fun place to chill and catch up.

Used to love this place... I'd have small birthday gatherings on the back patio and I loved it-- but whoever is in charge of events and/or large group reservations now should be fired. I tried to book again this year a month in advance (again, multiple times two weeks beforehand) and was only responded to a week beforehand. Too late and too bad..
