The Nook Breakfast SPOT

Me and my friend were looking for a local spot for some breakfast at 5pm. Yah yah were those people that can eat breakfast all day. We looked them up on Yelp and headed down the road for some good ole potatoes and eggs. When we arrived we saw a guy in the parking lot acting as a valet; he's not that and he's not affiliated with the restaurant so people - parking is free. When we reached inside the restaurant we were greeting with a warm smile and invitation by Megan (hey girl!). She made us some fresh coffee to warm us up and gave us time to settle down. My friend is a vegetarian and I'm a flexatarian (yup I said it!) so the options were there and we were satisfied! I got the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and home fries. First, real home fries with the peppers and onions. Nicely seasoned so good that I didn't even add any ketchup or hot sauce. Biscuits and gravy were good too. Eggs scrambled hard just how I like them. When I say I tore up my food! Smashed. Told Megan we would be back cuzzzz Mimosas? Yah.

I've heard great things about this place, so after my nieces soccer game we decided to give it a try. First, the dining area is big with plenty of boosts and tables to choose from. We were lucky enough that we were seated within a few minutes. Our server was nice, took our drink orders right away. Food orders were taken very promptly as well.Unfortunately, once the food came out, that's when it took a turn. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs, which happens to be one of my favorite breakfast items. It definitely lacked flavor. You add to that that my toast didn't come out until my meal was cold. My friend had Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns, her hashbrowns were so mushy. And again, totally lacked flavor. My sister had the Nook breakfast, eggs were yummy but once more the sausage lacked any flavor. I will say that my niece's pancakes were delicious.I can understand that sometimes a restaurant is just having an off day, so I'm to willing give it another try. Specially since I've heard such great things about the food.

The food is amazing! My server, Ariz, was BEAUTIFUL as well did an amazing job accommodating my request. Great ambiance and atmosphere that was reminiscent of an our great American Deli's!Enjoyed it!!!

The Nook Breakfast Spot has breakfasts and lunch. They offer lunch specials Monday through Friday. I ordered the chicken fried steak, hash browns and egg with a coffee; the last time I went I had the breakfast burrito. The food came out quick and the service was good. The inside is large but there are times when it gets crowded so there could be a wait, they have a small waiting area inside. There's a parking lot next door and street parking.

There's a large parking lot right beside the restaurant.There are plenty of booth tables around the perimeter inside. We got seated right away. Only 1 server at 8AM, he was still in preparation mode, took a bit of time to get our order taken. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with eggs and hash brown. It was pretty bland, which is OK. I just added some salt overall. We also ordered the Southwest Skillet to share, just tasted like peppers and very light on the shredded beef. I would say, very generic breakfast joint.

Came here Father's Day for the first time and although it was packed and busy we were seated right away. Waitress was friendly and took our orders in a timely manner I ordered avocado toast and my husband ordered corn beef hash and eggs with a short stack side My avocado toast was ok, it was mashed avocado rather then slices and I was a little disappointed that it was chilly under the hot egg, I'm used to fresh room temp avocado slices on my avocado toast I think my husbands corn beef was the best I've had , I stole more than a few bites I got decaf and my husband got regular coffee, the coffee was really strong and bold, we never got asked if we needed a refill but I flagged down a different waitress and asked for more and she refilled us right away(Long After we were finished a manager was walking around with the coffee pot and he did offer but too late for us ) I feel as if once our food was delivered we were forgotten about but it was a holiday so maybe I'll try again on a weekday to see if it's different Our check took a long time to arrive, the table next to us came way after us and has theirs delivered by the same server way before usThe tip .... People you need to CHECK this! They have the tip printed on receipt saying what each % should be and it was INCORRECT! That's pretty awful..how is this even legal? You should tip pre tax and they're recommending post tax percentages What? I'm hoping this fixed by my next visit!

THEY SERVE LUNCH AND DINNER NOW TOO.They didn't update the website yet but they stay open now and have a whole different menu for it. I think you'd call it "comfort food" because they do smother the pork chops, and the tuna melt is always good. I like the Popeye of omlette too. It's always good, with good service, and it's big with no waiting for a table.

Mediocre at best. Food was meh and the service could be a whole lot better. Not the best experience yet not the worst. I was expecting more.

Love the servers! Super nice and make it so you want to come back again. Food consistently tasty. They are open late in the day, but I like going for breakfast best.
