An exceptional vegan business. The restaurant is small but bustling with energy. The hospitality is in a league of its own from the moment you step in. The owner is incredibly welcoming and seems to really care about her customers. When we ordered the breakfast burrito and chocolate croissant at the counter, she offered to serve the croissant after we were finished with the burrito so that the croissant would be warm and fresh!We had the breakfast burrito. My non-vegan friend called it the best burrito she's ever had. The outer tortilla is toasted to a crisp perfection. The inside is comprised of potatoes, avocado, salsa, and a deliciously creamy sauce. It's served with a creamy avocado sauce on the side.We also had the chocolate croissant. It was delicious, flakey, and perfectly sweet.There is no public restroom. Ask the staff where the nearest restroom is!

I don't even know where to begin! I've been wanting to come here for a while and am glad I finally made the trip! I was able to find free street parking and the person working there was so sweet to me! :) they had really good energy! I was too excited to wait till I got home so I took a bite out of everything in the car. Brown sugar iced coffee with cloud foam: it was a very light refreshing coffee, not too sweet and the cloud foam almost tastes exactly like coconut whip cream. I enjoyed thisBreakfast burrito: This is hands down the best burrito I've had!! I don't really like burritos but I could eat this all the time. It was a perfect consistency and tasted so good dipped with chipotle. Croissant egg sandwich: it was so cute and smol! I really enjoyed the croissant. Very flakey. Blueberry coffee cake: moist! Wasn't dry at all and really good paired with the coffee. My mom loved this too and she's not vegan. Blonde: This gave me a thick sugar cookie vibe and not too sweet. Tasted good warmed up with almond milk. Matcha cookie: My favorite of all the desserts. The matcha flavor was rich and the cookie was a perfect consistency. I honestly enjoyed everything I ordered and I can't wait to go back and try the other items

This is my absolute favorite place in all of LA! It is the cutest place owned by the nicest people with such good vibes that you leave with a smile every time. I've started coming here ritually every Sunday after just driving past and curiously, stopping in one random day. I love that everything is delicious, they are dog friendly, and of course that it's vegan! Even my non-vegan boyfriend comes every Sunday because he's obsessed with the breakfast burrito!

Unique small business in the heart of East Hollywood! Super friendly couple running the joint with lots of positive vibes. Armenian espresso drinks, pastries of all sorts and breakfast items like burritos and "egg" sandwiches. There are a few tables inside and I believe one or so outside. Wasn't too busy around noon so my friend and I had no issue finding a spot to enjoy our treats. I got a vanilla latte with cold foam and a breakfast burrito. The burrito came with an avocado crema but the burrito was flavorful on its own; did not need it but a fun addition! Lots of people picking up takeout so if you can't make it here at the moment try UberEats and Postmates. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here to try their apple danish-type pastry and other goodies. Recommend to stop by if you're in the area and looking to try something new!

SERVICE- located on the intersection of sunset and normandie near Thai town- metered street parking only - limited indoor and outdoor seating- order and pay at counter and then find table- ambiance good for casual breakfast or lunch- food made and served fresh and quickly- workers are super friendly and welcomingMENU- all vegan breakfast and lunch dishes, drinks, and ice cream- average price ($15 per entree) FOOD- breakfast burrito (7/10): egg, cheese, sausage, roasted potato, pico de gallo, chipotle sauce, and avocado rolled in a wheat tortilla and grilled with a side of avocado crema. This was the most popular option in the menu so we had to try it. I liked the combination of flavors and textures, especially between the roasted potatoes and spicy chipotle sauce. It is a relatively filling meal for breakfast or brunch. The sauce on the side is a good accompaniment as it adds extra creaminess and a slight tang.WOULD I GO BACK? It was a good spot for a quick meal or for working.

Was in the area and happened upon this delightful little cafe. They've been here two months I'm told, with a owner who is so warm and welcoming you've gotta check this place out!We were looking for a snack to share and choose a breakfast burrito. Wow! Full flavor and absolutely delicious plus it's big enough to easily share. My hubby got a banana date shake and i chose a peachy tea, so good and refreshing.We learned everything is made in house and it shows. C'mon back, the menu is expanding and your taste buds will dance with happiness!

We left space for dessert after lunching at a nearby vegan restaurant and found The Moody Vegan. We thoroughly enjoyed our apple-pie A La mode, guilt-free and cruelty-free. There is absolutely no reason to have this dessert any other way. We also bought a slice of carrot cake to go. It was so sweet. I must say that since eating clean 98% of the time, my taste buds rarely crave sweets. So, if you have a sweet tooth, you will absolutely enjoy The Moody Vegan.

Great people, food and sweets! The owners are super friendly, communicative and accommodating with substitutions if needed. Everything is vegan and some things are gluten free. Slowly but surely they are adding different things to the menu which is fun to see and try. The loaded fries are really good and feel healthier than most as it has fresh pico de gallo on top.The feta cheese puff pastry was perfect, light and tasty! I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, coffee cake and banana bread which I haven't tried yet but they all look great!Great experience! Will be going in store again soon!

I recommend this place 100 percent. The food and drinks are great! Staff really friendly. They do a lot of community efforts to help others too. I have never had a bad experience here. I will continue trying to come back weekly here
