The Henry

Went for brunch with my family, I love the atmosphere they have going on! Our server Irvin was amazing and attentive to our needs.We ordered short rib pot stickers, spicy tuna in crispy rice and salmon crudo for appetizers, ALL SO AMAZINGLY TASTY For our entrees we got pretty much all their salads and very impressed with the flavor and presentation.Irvin hooked it up with a carrot cake to compensate on our food wait time and let me tell you, THE BEST IVE EVER HAD I'll be coming back for sure!

I enjoy the Henry a lot! We come here with co workers as it's so close to the office. I wish they had valet but there's meter parking and garages where you can park.*park at the garage next to Kitson!* it's two hours free.Anyways inside is very nice we've only ever come at night so idk how it looks during the day time. Staff is always cool and attentive. They have a bar where you can go chill and drink.Food is pretty good it's a bit pricey but what isn't, especially in that area. The pretzel bits and fondue is where it's at!!!! We always get three orders of those.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast situation. Didn't have a reservation, and was seated right away. Had a Matcha Latte and the Flower Child Scramble. The latte was nice and creamy with froth. I just wish it was in a bigger cup. The serving was smaller than most restaurants in my opinion. The scramble was a nice size and very hearty. I couldn't even finish it all lol. The flavors come out nicely. My daughter had a peppermint tea that was really good.Now for the service part. I believe the bartender was doing double duty, which I get can be a bit frustrating at times and that shows in his demeanor towards us. However, as a customer, the person serving us should still know the menu if you are going to serve the customer as a server as well. We asked if he knew which teas were non-caffeinated. He said he had no idea......if you don't know, tell us why you don't know because we as customers are going to wonder why you don't know your menu. This person should have explained to us he is the bartender helping out and we would have understood, but I had to do a little investigation to figure that out lol. Throughout our stay, we had other staff coming to our table to check in on us and give us our food. So we really didn't feel a connection to our server which is disappointing.We've gone to The Henry in the past, and it's always been a good time. However, we mostly go in the evening times.The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms clean, and the ambiance is always good for the Robertson area.Overall, we will still come back to The Henry.

I arrived an hour early before the Minor Hotels group dinner event started. One of the waiters came up to me and he invited to go to the bar and order some drinks on the group's account. It was 500pm and happy hour was going on and the bar restaurant only had a few customers. I ordered some of the special drinks that were recommended and my favorite was the smoked pineapple margarita. I don't know what they put in this spicy drink but my lips were numb, LOL. The staff is great and we had a nice time at the event, it got very busy when I left around 830pm.

This place never disappoints! Came here on a late Sunday night since I was craving truffle fries and being that I'm celiac needed a dedicated fryer this place definitely hit the spot for me. They don't have any gluten in their fryers, so I was able to enjoy the truffle fries and also the crispy spicy tuna without cross contamination. We also enjoyed their braised short rib, which was super rich and very flavorful. I love that they have options for 6 ounce or 9 ounce glasses of wine and a plethora of cocktail options as well. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable. I also love that it's a semi casual, but cute place without being too pretentious and it has a very welcoming and warm vibe!

I came here with my sister for lunch in a random Wednesday and it was still pretty busy! It is a bit loud inside as people are conversing, meetings are taking place. The design and layout of the restaurant is very elevated casual. Service was great. They are very attentive with their table touches. The food was okay. We orders the Brussel sprouts as a starter and they were honestly my favorite dish. The brussel sprouts are absolutely delicious. The hot honey chicken sandwich was honestly a let down. There was nothing hot about it and they just drizzled honey over the chicken. I would go here again, but would order something different for my main meal.

Such a beautiful space! Love the decor, colors, ambiance, etc etc. 5/5.Ordered the Go North for coffee and it was soooo good I wish it was bigger/I had another one. Egg Sandwich was on a perfectly buttery brioche bun, though the sandwich itself was missing a sauce... like a chipotle aioli or something like that would have made it 10/10. Dessert was decadent... and extremely too sweet. Maybe xnay on the whole plate swimming in caramel and too much chantilly cream. Appreciated the size tho! Food 4.5/5Staff was lovely. But when It started getting a little busy, we waited a while when finished, then again to order dessert, and then to pay. Think it was our server and one other, so perhaps short staffed. 4.5/5

I come here for HH a lot - I think they have a great one. The pineapple margarita is delicious and they have great shareables for large groups. They've always been able to sit our party size which is usually at least five people, which is nice.

The Henry is a spot that everyone should at least try once if they're near Los Angeles. Our group of nine was seated outside, and, conveniently, they have heaters to keep things comfortable, which was a nice touch.There is a very rustic and vintage aesthetic that we loved! Definitely inviting to a more hip and fun crowd. Unfortunately, we did have to wait roughly 25-30 minutes before we actually were able to order. The servers were apologetic; as well as the manager - even giving us a free truffle fries for the inconvenience. However, the other hiccup was when we actually received our food - which was another 30 minutes or so. Mind you, it was a weekday on a not so busy night. Disappointing, but at least we finally received our food! The mixed drinks were great, well balanced. The truffle fries were a simple, yet satisfying batch. I ordered the wagyu burger. It was just okay! I think some of the items were hit and miss. For example the gyoza. They decided not to take a traditional approach and to instead incorporate cream cheese. For the pricing you're paying, you want things to work and consistency. Again, service was hit and miss. They were attentive for pockets of time; only to disappear. If this was service on a slow night; I don't want to be here when it's busy!Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.5! I tried it once--that was more than enough for me.

Great ambience, food and service. Peter was our server and he did everything to make our experience a superb experience.
