We happened to stumble on this place on our walk thru LA as we searched for fun bars! And what a fun surprise it was! The pink and black door caught our eye. When you step inside, it's straight Miami Vice vibes, from decor to flooring, it was just so reminiscent of what I would expect the 80s club scene to be. Aesthetics!!! I recommend you check their social media on insta to see what music they play each night. Although we didn't get to try their food, we def enjoyed their happy hour cocktails. The girl working the bar was so incredibly nice and helpful. We were there before the night scene and were able to enjoy our cocktail but I could def see this place getting busy at night. It just feels like a cool spot to be. Will def be returning.

The Flamingo Bar in the Arts District is a total vibe, especially if you're into the '80s aesthetic! From the retro neon lights to the funky decor, it feels like you've stepped into a time machine in the best way possible. The food is decent--not the main reason to visit, but it gets the job done if you need a snack to pair with your drinks. Speaking of drinks, they're solid but not overly fancy. If you're looking for simple, well-made cocktails, you'll be happy here. What really stood out to me was the friendly service. The bartenders were super nice and welcoming, which added to the chill, laid-back vibe of the place. If you're looking for a casual spot with cool '80s vibes and good energy, The Flamingo Bar is worth a visit. While it might not blow you away in the food or drink department, the atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great hangout spot!

The Flamingo is located directly across from the restaurant Camelia...and it ended up being the perfect place for some drinks after dinner. We stopped by the Flamingo around 10:00 p.m. after dinner on a Friday. The lighting is perfectly dim inside, and the music is loud enough to dance to but not so obnoxious that it prevents conversation. It wasn't too crowded yet and there was still plenty of seating when we first got there, but it seems like around 10:00 is when it starts to pick up as people were continuously trickling in. The crowd is a good mix of people...old, young, drinkers, dancers, etc. The bartenders are quick, efficient, and friendly. Also the drinks seemed pretty reasonably priced...goose was $15 a shot and patron silver at $14 a shot. Overall it's a great place to grab some drinks, and I'm sure I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.

Great bar! I came on a Saturday night and it got crowded in here around 11:30 PM. The music felt very much like radio show music (Power 106) but they did play some of my favorites! I will say this bar tends to have more of an older crowd, I seen lots of people coming here after events or after a long day in corporate America. Overall, would recommend for the vibes and good drinks.

This place is where you go when you have nothing else better to do. Sorry I wasn't impressed. My homegirl had a low key hang with her friends here for her birthday. There were places to sit and it's definitely festively decorated. The music was okay, nothing to write home about. The food and drinks are generic. Exactly What you would expect from a bar. Unfortunately the bar tender was by himself since it was early 8p ish and it took FOREVER to get food. I was starving and tempted to leave and go across the way and eat at the restaurant. In the end we celebrated my friend and got up outta there, lol.

Really cool ambience in a neat part of town with fun lighting and decor. Drinks were mediocre esp for the price. Come for a vibe but not much action keeping us to stay a while.

I became a local to the area and discovered this bar some months ago. Since then, I come for a drink or two a couple of times a week. In LA is hard to get nice bartenders that are not full of crap, but this place is just the best crew all around. From Eddie to Perla, who best Bar tender in the universe, they would not let you be bored, have an empty glass or leave without a smile. If you are around the area, and you are lucky to get a drink from Perla, you will feel as special as a downtown angelino.

Such a cute spot! I was looking for a place near my hotel, and this popped up. I'm so glad because it did not disappoint. The drinks and wings are my recommendation, especially the lemon pepper wings! Delicious.

Came here on a Wednesday after work for happy hour. This place is so damn cute, I love the decor and that's it's pink everywhere. Our bartender was amazing, very attentive and friendly and helpful. We got some wings and wine from their happy hour menu and everything was superb! I cannot recommend this place enough; definitely check it out!!
