Maybe it was a slow night? Maybe the folks who were there weren't all that lit. Whatever it was, their drinks were good but sweet, and I dont know... it felt like the the tiki flavor and ambiance was an absolute miss. When you compare the drinks and atmosphere to the tiki restaurant Broken Compass (not a bar), this place stands no chance. The location here is great and I'd love to come back again, but if you're looking for tiki specifically, better tiki spots exist.

This place has amazing drinks! I've tried several of their drinks and can honestly say I've liked each one! They also have a food menu so we got shumai dumplings which come with soy sauce on the side and were good. I also ordered their wings which were good too. For a bar, the food was good. I recommend the tater tots here since they were very crispy & yummy! The staff is really nice & all the bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable in their drinks. Besides the bar area where you can sit at, they also have indoor tables & the place is pretty spacious inside.

This. Place is amazing . I have to share a personal story . I went there yesterday and Amanda was working . It was busy! And Amanda was the only bartender . When I tell you her service was impeccable . She was receptive , quick , thorough , thought and managed to work the whole bar with about 100 patrons by herself. I was so impressed . Like literally I've never seen anyone run a bar that efficiently in my life . The drinks are good , but the vibe is unmatched. I will definitely come back .

Yes I Cantiki!Happy hour daily 3pm-6pm and they have the best bang for your buck on cocktails!$8 cocktails...3 of them can be upgraded to buckets for only $4 more. You get a bucket of LA River Water for $12 is a steal in North Hollywood!our server/bartender was the best. Very attentive and always checking in on us. We came in for a few apps & cocktails and we're so happy we did!Great space with tables and buffet seats in the back with a TV. Plenty of bar seating and a few 2 top tables up front. Looks like they may have a DJ play sometimes. The vibe and decor is everything! Outdoor patio seats to people watch, but a little too hot to enjoy just yet. The happy hour pricing and what you get for the prices are amazing! I am so excited to have found CanTiki! You have made regulars out of us

This place is super cute! I loved the decor and music selection and had a great time with my friends here over the weekend. I love that they have a happy hour with some delicious options on the menu. I opted for a daiquiri and although I expected this to be a blended drink, I still found it to be tasty and enjoyable. I love that they have vegan items on the menu but wasn't hungry enough to try! I plan to return to try these! The service was also friendly and prompt!

CanTiki NoHo opened last summer and quickly became a neighbourhood favourite - we've been many times, and even on a rainy weeknight, the place is steadily busy. We've tried many of the drinks - we haven't been disappointed. My favourite is the rum-based Tiger Punch, which comes with "mango pearls" - juicy boba - and an extra-wide straw to hoover them up. All the tiki cocktails are complex, strong, well-balanced drinks that are all delicious and enjoyable, but are pretty similar and kind of muddle together in one's memory. It's like the bar version of the "Saw" franchise. Two that are easy to recall and reorder due to fun accoutrements are the aforementioned Tiger Punch, with the boba, and the L.A. River Water, which comes with Swedish fish.We appreciate the 7-days-a-week happy hour, and we usually make our drinks a "bucket" - doubled, served in a little beach pail. Their food menu is limited to bao dumplings, and they are tasty as well.Though it doesn't have the razzle-dazzle of the nearby Tiki No (e.g., no flaming drinks), I prefer CanTiki when I want a tropical libation. It's casual enough to pop over in shorts and flip-flops for a quick nip, yet the dark jungly aesthetic - palms-on-black wallpaper, rattan, gold hardware - makes it a nice spot for a date night.

Wow!!! Great service! The staff is so friendly! Bonnie brought us cookies being that it was Christmas Eve making our visit so special! We ordered 2 drinks and wings + vegetable dumplings soooo good!

Amanda, the owner, was very attentive and helpful when I emailed her! She was equally friendly in person during our first visit. The bartenders were equally great! They have at least 11 tv's for sports! Clean bathrooms are always a plus. Definitely worth a visit! We will be back.

What a GREAT bar. Excellent playlist, good vibes, and STRONG tiki drinks. We got the zombieland bowl and boy did our waiter want to see us stumble out of there. No wait on a Saturday night but it was hopping and drinks were flowing. Not the most tiki decorated bar I've been to, but a great experience all the same!

Great local bar, has security at the door as well so no riff raff wandering in.Great drinks and ambiance, definitely recommend.
