Once again, this is a wonderful place to spend a few hours and have light lunch and the most beautiful lattes on earth.Even on a rainy day, there was a line out the door and all seating was taken. And why not? Each time we visit, we are newly impressed with the quality of the pastries and hot beverages. Parking is hard to find in this area, but somehow we always do and feel it is worth it. Bring your laptop, no one rushes you here. And make sure you savor the work of art in your cup!

Stunning space and visually appealing presentation of orders! The sidewalk and patio seating are in high demand, as it offers a beautiful setting where everyone wants to see and be seen. The indoor space is equally welcoming, featuring an open and bright atmosphere, a large bar, and clean surroundings. It is also easier to find seating indoors if reservations are not made.Service was attentive and friendly, and we were extremely pleased with the recommendations. Our lattes and cappuccinos were served hot and were good. I appreciated the flavors available for the coffee drinks. I ordered the hazelnut latte and unfortunately not able to taste it.We ordered the croissant sandwich and the mushroom omelet. Both were delicious and satisfying. Even without adding bacon or sausage to the croissant sandwich, it was not missed--the caramelized onions were sweet and added depth of flavor. The mushroom omelet was buried under kale chips, which were slightly greasy. The mushrooms were well-proportioned to the eggs; however, for an omelet, the egg portion was minimal. The side of potatoes was also quite greasy, making them a bit difficult to digest. That said, the herb seasoning on the potatoes was exceptional, adding a depth of flavor I had never experienced in this combination. The concept of this restaurant is delightful and definitely worth a visit!

Hot tip from our hotel brought us here. Staff is super kind and attentive. They recommended the Butchers Egg Benedict and I was blown away. I had mine with the fried chicken, which was cooked perfectly. Their breakfast potatoes were also amazing. If you're anywhere near this place, you have to stop here. You won't be disappointed!

Brunch at BBCM lived up to the hype. With literally thousands of glowing reviews, I had high expectations, and they were met across the board--great food, lively ambiance, and quick, friendly service. I went with my usual brunch test: the breakfast burrito. This one? Easily made my top 5 in LA. The sausage was flavorful but not overpowering, and while I was totally skeptical about the cooked kale, it actually worked. The salsa was tasty but lacked spice. The real standout? The breakfast potatoes--crispy on the outside, soft and meaty inside, with a pesto-like seasoning that I couldn't get enough of. Carolyn had the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were more like a warm, moist lemon poppy muffin in a cast-iron bowl--delicious and topped with fruit and a melted marshmallow-like sauce. Sure, the $14 art lattes and mimosa flights draw the Instagram crowd, but the food is legit. Pro tip: Arrive early. We got there just before 10 AM on a Saturday and were seated inside right away, but by the time we left, the wait was chaos. Overpriced? A bit. Cool and trendy? Definitely. Worth it? Surprisingly, yes.

I'm kind of torn with this review. Some of what we got was really tasty and you can tell most of the ingredients are good quality. However a lot fell short and not sure if I'd be back again.Bloody Mary: no bueno. Tasted like tomato juice... not much flavor and thick. A bit spicy but no taste of horseradish or lemon. Sent it back.Sandia mia: refreshing and well balanced. would recommend ordering French omelette: super good! The best thing we got. The sauce was tasty and not overpowering. Eggs were fluffy and good. The salad was simple but stand out... light dressing and a variety of veggies. Lemon ricotta pancake: at first I really liked it but it was because I started eating the edges. Tastes like a lemon cake more than a pancake. However half of it was not cooked and we ended up eating batter.Got a charcoal latte to go and it just tasted like milk.

When a breakfast burrito is 23 dollars (the most I've ever paid for one), I the consumer will hold the product to a higher stand commensurate to the price. In short, anything less than sublime is a miss. But this burrito wasn't even average. It was comparable to basically what your favorite high-end grocery store would sell, and already premade. So what went wrong?Burrito had zero, and I mean zero taste, everything was under seasoned, the eggs were watery , the chicken apple sausage was undercooked. In fact, the whole thing was super cold, and the contents fell apart. More importantly, it simply lacked flavor. At 23 dollars, I have every right to be damn mad. I expected the best. The breakfast potatoes were at least seasoned well, albeit a bit on the oily side. Tasty at least.I wouldn't recommend this one. Maybe try something else ? One thing is for sure, the butcher hacked my wallet to death.

TLDR: Food (fried chicken eggs benedict) was okay, but service was great! Will likely return to try other menu items. Came in on a Saturday with an 11am reservation, and was seated immediately. Not sure if it was needed though since it was relatively early as far as brunch goes, didn't seem like there was a long line at the time & they have a huge capacity for guests! The place itself is very trendy, very coastal. Any angle provides a great background. No background music from where we were sat, so only heard each other's chatter. Not sure how to feel about that? But when I went to the restroom (back area) I heard some pop music as background music, unsure why there were no speakers where we were. I started with a hot sweetened matcha with oat milk. Great flavor! Just the right amount of sweetness without being too overpowering. For my entree, I got the egg benedict with fried chicken. It was eh. Chicken was a bit too salty, and the egg was a little too overcooked-the first cut didn't have that satisfying runny egg yolk! Not truly a big deal but for $26 just expected a better pairing. Great selection of fruits though. Also got the sweet potato fries, those were good! Great flavor & crispiness. My bf got the butcher burger. I had a bite and it was delicious! Nice and tender - makes me wish I ordered it instead. Service was great - our server was attentive and friendly, so was the rest of the staff!Being on Sunset blvd, parking is never a guarantee. There is a small parking lot behind, or you can try your luck with street parking. Overall a good brunch spot, the fried chicken benny was a miss for me, but since the burger was great I'd like to come back and check out the rest of their menu items. Also seems like a good place to bring groups to!

The staff were all very welcoming and sweet. The menu is very vast and diverse! I would love to go back and try more. The prices are high but I did like the French onion soup and golden latte. They were both the perfect temperature.
