Going into the Roosevelt Hotel to have lunch, was, for us, a weird experience. Entering from Hollywood Blvd., there is a huge, very dark, beautiful old lobby space and a bar--but no front desk, concierge, information station--nothing! It felt like we were in a Stephen King novel. We asked three people where we could eat lunch, and everyone seemed slightly confused with the question! Finally, down by the pool, we ran into Autumn, the restaurant manager, who led us to the Bridge, which was just opening at 11:30, and graciously seated us there.Once settled, we found the ambience nice (glass enclosed bridge overlooking the pool and gardens). The food was excellent. Gaspacho --spicey and refreshing--and a marvelous omlette with fromage blanc and a morel mushroom cream sauce, just scrumptious. Excellent service, too. Very nice experience (after we found our way there).

We came here with a group of 13 so we expected to be there a while. We tried a few of the appetizers. The Halibut cheeks were to die for everything else was not very good. The fried artichokes looked like crispy onions (very small). As far as dinner, the Rib Eye was great, Blackened Striped Bass not so much. Tasted fishy and a little chewy. The sides were not great and very small. The carrot puree looked like a plate decoration.I would not recommend this place unless you are staying at the hotel, then I guess it would be convenient. Also, make sure you keep track of what you order to drink. Our liquor bill was over $550 for the 11 that drank and we couldn't even argue any of the drinks on the bill because it was so confusing to read. Also we didn't see the sangria that others suggested. That would have been good. The restaurant is hard to find, but it is literally on the bridge that is above the pool area. Also if you go here, use the valet and get it validated. Way easier that parking across the street. I think the parking as only like $9 or so.

Came here on a sat night.... beautiful hotel and great ambiance. The rest is on the 2nd floor and overlooks the pool. We had a group of 7 girls... total spent about 500, the quality of food was mediocre, my fav plate was tje asparagus and prosciutto. We had the red snapper and salmon as entrees but it wasn't tasty. Best part about dinner: our waiter! You can go downstairs to the bar area next to the pool afterwards. We stayed for a lil bit then headed to the colony.

Came here twice once with a group on a weekend and another just a romantic dinner for two during a weekday. The setting is great for both. The restaurant is set on a bridge...hence the name...it over looks the hotel pool. Really sexy and very romantic. The staff is very hollywood and handsome. Great service with a smile...hahaha.First time the food was delicious. No use telling you what i had cause the menu changed...Therefore, the second time...food was average. Which is why i reduced the would've been 4 stars to 3.Do try it out and ask the waiter what they recommend cause they know best!

I had a chance to visit The Bridge while on vacation in September. The atmosphere is great. You overlook the pool. The food and service were excellent. This is a must try!
